It would be so cool if the Mages quest line actually had classes like this.
Just a little correction: The Flames of Coldharbour spells don't cause Fire Damage or Burns. They are visually Fire Spells, but they deal Frost Damage and are affected by Perk Trees that enhance Cold Spells. I think the intention was that Vampires can't use Fire Magic, so the use magic flames that are ice cold. (I think HB edited the audio because it now mentions that the spells do cold damage, so you can ignore this comment now.)
That is an insanely cool touch. Im actually gonna install it just for that

I've already reworked my magic system with a combination of other mods and custom spells I've programmed myself, but I have to give a huge thumbs up to Natura. While I didn't care much for the spells themselves, the assets used in them are beautifully made and I ended up using them in my own spell pack.
I would also recommend Dawnguard Arsenal. It's main feature is filling out the rest of the Dawnguard weapon set with swords and the like, but it also adds more sun spells. Elianora's Sun Rune mod goes well with them.
That intro video should be part of the game,that would make for A great start into the foray of this magic!
Direnni's mods are awesome, and they also happen to have synergy with Kittytail's mods, for example, Kitty's Excalibur Morgan is amazing for a vampire because it drains health and you can recover it with Bloodmoon, Astral Spells are excellent pairing for Stellaris, even the Witcher spells can work pretty well with Direnni's mods.
Also, Stormcalling Magic 2 is very fun to use.
I love Darenii's magic mods and am thrilled to see you highlighting them. Your videos are always so enjoyable to watch. It seems like they're getting better every time. I enjoy the minis stories you add to each one.
So the lesson that Tolfdir is giving at the beginning of the video...did you set all that up or is it part of one of the Winterhold overhaul mods?
Man I can't believe mods THIS great are still being made in 2023 for this absolutely legendary game. These spell mods have very recently been ported to LE which is where I usually play after the whole SSE Anniversary update kinda thing which confused me as to which version of mods to download. But these spells and the new Spriggan Masks and everything, and the way you present them in the video, this is just amazing man. :)
I havent played Skyrim in a hot minute, but at this point, I'm just watching for the amazing editing and care you put into your videos. It never gets old :D

I do like how magic looks different in each game. I see it as world building each province has it's own magical culture
you good fr direct something i think your knowledge of cinematography is pretty clear in your videos
do you have a video that concerns mundane animals in Skyrim (i didn't see one in the Skyrim playlist)? i see sometimes in your video a deer replacer or addition i don't recognize. or maybe you could do one in the future? not just fluffworks, but the addition or upgrade of more "grounded" creatures (rather than new monster enemy types) ((like a replacer for the really ugly vanilla wolves so they look more wolf-like 😭)), or animal AI/animation modification, or stuff like that!
i love these videos, it makes me feel like i'm in middle school watching Brodual or MxR again!! so cinematic and inspiring.

Most of these are just different colored vanilla spells. I prefer Triumvirate and odin when it comes to Spell mods. Great vid nonetheless

I agree I like Natura but did a playthrough with most of these and I may remove some its just reskin of the vanilla spells. But I'm am Enjoying Natura the most so I will give that a Endorse. Odin and Triumvirate will still be king for me though

what skins and hairs on your using your npcs? to make them look so nice and extra epic! I'm currently downing parts of your magic mods right bow as I speak so I can't
give my full opinion on them later i love supporting the skyrim community and it goes extra for the community too!
Would be really nice if the NPCs are also able to use these custom spell. It would be a really good and balanced fight.
Actually with every mod comes an option to distribute them to the npcs.

Tried installing both Stellaris and Flames of Coldharbour, yet only Stellaris is working. Any advice as to what I might be doing wrong? The tomes aren't appearing at all, be it via atronach forge or added merchant for the books.

Your game always looks really pretty, what enb do you use?
if you want to try something different besides the realistic looking ENBs, i recommend trying PRT XII. you can change how the ENB looks by changing camera, etc from the ENB menu. if you don't know how to tweak the ENB, on the main page if you scroll down to Presets section, there are links with some premade presets for the ENB.
I like to use skills from all 3 classes: Mage/Warrior/Thief. Best of all 3.

Well ill just type it again. Beware downloading some of these mid playthrough. It conflicts with alot of vanilla/other mods. I recommend starting new playthrough. (Typed this before and it was deleted idk why 🤷♂️)

These all semm like reskins of existing spels tho..
I don't know, this is all just vanilla plus with different colors wrapped in a nice package.
I'm quite happy not to have to worry about compatibility.
