When I was younger back in the mid 70s a block and ready mix company scrapped a block truck it was a diamond T they dug a hole with a loader and buried it
Very cool old truck. They are here to stay!!! All these new ones (2018+) are no-more than throwaways after 5+ yrs. I'd love to have a cabover. But I'll tell you what. it's a GREAT Feeling to see and hear it when they crank and fire off. just can't kill these engines. Unless they run away themselves. Ditto.
Detroit 2-stroke WANT to run. They want to run so bad they'll run away on you. I'm amazed to see how long those Detroit 2-strokes can sit and get back running with just a fair bit patience, a lot of elbow grease, and a fairly small parts bill.
Amazing job

Alright MAN ya'll did it,OLD IRON IS TOUGH. NOT to many people left on this planet can make them old trucks wake up 👍👍
Nothing like a pre-emissions diesel engine.
You certainly wouldn't be able to beat on the injectors of a new Cummins and expect them to come back to life
@@MatzkeDiesel Yessir! My favorite Cummins engines, KTA600, N14, BigCam III & IV.
Good thing you unstuck the rack, otherwise you might have had an awesome runaway video
50 percent crap on ground and 50 percent into engine! Should be fine, Detroits don't mind!
Detroits can’t be killed
