Crimson and Parker. So beautiful. Their eyes reflect some fear, historical that is, not related to the treatment. They're in the right hands with you. Thankfully.
Both horses are stunning. I guess sometimes you just aren't In the mood for a good adjustment. But maybe next time. Still a great job. You never call it a day you just move on. ☺️ that's why we are here Dr Doug. ❤
I am very impressed with how Kelly knows her horses. Their personality and their history of pain. I'm always impressed with the wonderful job you always do Dr Doug. Thanks for your kindness and the way you care about all animals.
Dr Willen, Crimson wasn’t having it and Parker was so so. They’re both beautiful ❤ but I’m glad that you’re safe and know when to continue and to stop. You were awesome 👏 with them and they felt and knew you’re there to help them out. Your explanations are always on point 👌, I hope you you can work on them next time. Have a nice week doc
Beautiful horses. People often underestimate Thoroughbreds. They can be really awesome all-round family horses, too. Really sweet and quiet. Amazing for an animal bred for speed. I am so glad you listened to these horses and stopped when it was appropriate for their welfare. Thank you.
Hey Doc, I have to say , you are awsome with all the animals , but you really shine with the horses🌞. Crimson is Spicey ! At least Parker let you do the hard spot👍. You're handsome😍. JO JO IN VT 💞
They seem a little bit high strung. If I recall correctly she had to take a thoroughbred back for being antsy the last time you were there. They are beautiful though I will say that much for them. They are really young.
Very interesting. I'll come back tomorrow morning 😴 Okay, yes, this is an example that the body shows it when it's enough. A full body adjustment is not always the best choice. A nap is always the best 😂 have good week, Doc 💪❣️ I'm heading for more treatments after a 2 month break. The body needed a break ❣️
Excellent, and informative. I'm disappointed that the owner(s)/trainers gave up on Crimson so soon (I bet he was claimed over and over again, poor guy), because he's still a baby! They give up right at the age of maturity for most Thoroughbreds. Oftentimes, people give up on the ones that have insurmountable starting-gate spookiness, and therefore, will never be competitive on the track. I've only heard Jena Antonucci (trainer of "Arcangelo," 2023 Belmont Stakes winner) speak about Chiropractic. One of her runners was scratched after a gate incident, and she said she immediately had the chiropracter check him over. I'm looking forward to the full Crimson adjustment one day... Good to know that Rising Starr is a TAA member!
Hi Jeff! Actually, humans cannot get kissing spine in the same way horses do, but they can experience a similar condition affecting the spine due to degeneration of the intervertebral discs.
Thank you Dr. Doug🙏💗🙏 You are wonderful. If i may share a channel: Steve Young Horsemanship. I had a thought splash down on me. 'Dr. Doug and Steve Young! Would be so cool.' (Random thought. 😁) Your explanation of body schematics in real time is GOLD.
You need to get some kind of a ladder so you don't have to hold on to the horse when you get up cuz that pushed him away in case you didn't notice that..👍
She was hitting the first horse when Dr. Doug was touching him. I understand why. And Doug didn’t ask to work on him before hand as he does others. Those might have influenced the success.
Hi Lawsonlyons! That is correct, but in riding schools and similar settings, it is still taught to mount from the left side. This no longer has relevance today since riders neither go into battle with their horses nor wear swords on their left side.😅
She says about 3 or 4 years old their done? What rubbish, some aren't broken in until 3 yr old lady. Only way they retire at 3 or 4 is if they simply can't race or don't want to OR have an injury stemming from been raced too early aren't developed enough. Wow
It is good when your doctor listens to you. Thank you, Doctor Doug.
You‘re welcome!

Your comment touches me! Heartily thank you Barbara. 🙏🏻
Doc
You are so sweet, Dr. Doug, to travel and care for these horses that are SO IN NEED of adjustments! I hope they are both feeling better!
Hi Deette! So nice to see you today in the comment section! thank you.
Glad crimson didn’t knock you out! They are both some character.
What relief you give these animals, ❤🙌🏼
Thanks Maestro, I‘m glad too.

Thanks for the support Emma!
Well done handling a gorgeous horse with a bad bitey tendency! He will come around.
Thanks.☺️
I guess you win some you lose some ! You were very understanding to their temperament Dr Doug . Lovely horses .
Yep!
Dr. Doug is always empathetic & sympathetic to his patients and their family & support members.
Aww thank you cruisecontrolon!

I like that explanation, tempremental morning. I could have used that years ago! LOL
Haha!!
Really interesting to see the times when the animal doesn’t want anything done & how those can be handled.❤
Thank you Vaga.
Beautiful horses!Thank you Dr Doug!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You‘re welcome.
You are a brave Doc
I don’t know if I‘m brave, but I know when I should stop and when not. 😅
Thank you for this video, it's good to see that you stop when the horses had enough. No ego here. Greetings from France.
Merci beaucoup! 🙏🏻
Dr Doug left standing on his box 😂😂😂
😊
they are some great looking hoofer's.
True Tom!
🦋🇺🇸You do awesome work. I know you make the Animals happy 😊
Aww! thank you so much Butterfly!

@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Dankeschön ❣️

Doug have you adjusted nugget recently? Do you know how he’s doing? Could you do an update on him? I’d love to see him again. Thank you.❤❤❤🙌🏻
Hi Rosemary, no, I’m sorry, I haven’t seen Nugget for a while now, but I’ve heard that she is doing great.
Ahh, relief.
😊

Wow amazing! Thanks for your feedback and story.👍🏼
Crimson was definitely a feisty one. Parker was a little more receptive. Can humans get kissing spinus too?
Yes they can, but it's rare.
Hi Jeff! Actually, humans cannot get kissing spine in the same way horses do, but they can experience a similar condition affecting the spine due to degeneration of the intervertebral discs.
A lot of people think thoroughbred horses are schizophrenic but it is the treatment and abuse they get at the hands of man. 😮😢😢
So true! 💯
Spicy boy this time! Maybe you offended him because you didn't ask him politely can you work with him 😃
But still, great video Dr. Doug!
Thank you, I’m glad you thought the video was great! 👍🏼🙏🏻
Lol hes a naughty boy .. ❤
😅
Hope he feels better I heard it
Thank you.
Thank you Dr. Doug🙏💗🙏

Your explanation of body schematics in real time is GOLD.
Thank you so much, I‘m glad you liked my explanation B.
Maybe the reason Crimson bit wild cause rescuer gave him cube sugar 😂
Oh, that's the horse that watches when Sierra gets cracked!
At least I think so. I'm pretty sure.
Could horses be given relaxants? I see them on chewy, I think with tryptophan . Would that make them more mellow?
You need to get some kind of a ladder so you don't have to hold on to the horse when you get up cuz that pushed him away in case you didn't notice that..👍

Hi Joey! 🙏🏻❤️
Crimson needs a chew toy... maybe he's a reincarnated dog?
🥰🐴❤
🙏🏻❤️
I don't think there is a particular mounting side I think you can mount from any side
Hi Lawsonlyons! That is correct, but in riding schools and similar settings, it is still taught to mount from the left side. This no longer has relevance today since riders neither go into battle with their horses nor wear swords on their left side.😅
Recommend a great channel for all who work with horses: Steve Young Horsemanship
This lady needs some help with her temper she doesn't know how to handle a horse that's for damn sure
I agree with you, I was going to leave a comment to that effect but thought maybe I was being too critical.
Is it just me or is the sound weird to you ? (Mike?)
Does anybody else chorus in with "manatees and sloths?"
She says about 3 or 4 years old their done? What rubbish, some aren't broken in until 3 yr old lady. Only way they retire at 3 or 4 is if they simply can't race or don't want to OR have an injury stemming from been raced too early aren't developed enough. Wow
Yeah we used to get a lot of mares that raced about a year or two then decided it was boring.
She did say *some* of them that aren't making it as a racer
Dr. Doug? Do u ride? I've only been on a horse once!
Well perhaps she is right as race horses start their career at 2 years old. So check your facts
As well there are horses that are not made to race
She said if they’re not top tier lady
I would prefer more adjusting and less talking/education.
Thank you for the feedback.
Und wieder Plastikstimme. Ich bin raus. Muss ich mir nicht anschauen
