@18:20, yes, brilliant strategy here to get hustle dance asap! Sylv is such a great support character. In addition to hustle dance and oomphle, he is great at setting up status ailments for Erik to exploit. When your status ailments lands, save the persecutter or victimiser attack for Erik, because he can combo that with divide for 21x damage (with dually deadly)
One of the good things about hustle dance is since it doesn't depend on magical mending, you can still heal well against enemies that lower magical mending like gloomnivore.
I LOVE using Sylvando for boss fights in act 3 and only really buff his charm and agility. Hes got top tier support with low tier damage so put him in with Veronica and Jade. Veronica saps, Sylv Oomphles Jade and Jade either hardclaws or multi thrusts depending on if the enemy has naturally high def or low def respectively. Then you can just keep giving Sylv’s turn to Jade while Veronica keeps up Oomphle on herself and Jade, keeps sap going and twin dragon lashes when available. Depending on the fight I use Hendrick, Serena or Hero in the last slot.
Honestly sylvando’s showmanship and lithness are pretty much the only things I put points in save for knives to get the juggling skill and persecuter and victimizer due to his ability to spread those status effects with his charm abilities and dances. An especially favorite ability of mine is pied piper because with how high his charm can be raised you’ll be able to have an enemy fighting their own Allies more often then not. And his abilities having such a visual jester flair to them really just makes them especially fun to use

I actually find Sylv's Sword Tree to be a way of integrating story and gameplay *minor spoilers* He was raised as a knight, and acknowledge that part of him but is much happier being an entertainer. Wish his tree would open up after the second visit to Puerto Valor though
Was wondering what team set up you use for Boss fights then for regular enemies? Also please please please do Jade next. I'm new to the DQ series and I'm in love with Jade but don't really get how to use her. Would really appreciate it XD

Didn't know hustler dance was that good, it's even better than multiheal 😅 My luminary already got sword dance through GS as you recommended, he's probably the strongest member alongside Hendrick Atm, till I get dual weilding with Erik, which will be soon 😅 do you recommend to get those skills that are above sword dance? Or do I start going for luminary tree? I kinda know what to do with jade and Hendrick, but i have no idea about Rab. I used him a lot as he was way stronger than Serena in act one (if I know about sylvando, I would've used him, instead)
I usually don’t bother with much else after I get sword dance (besides the extra crit buff that I think is near it). The luminary can work with a lot of things though. There’s some nice passive buffs in the luminary tree for sure. Rab is an interesting character I’m looking forward to discussing.

This is true! Sylvando is almost essential for that fight on harder monsters.
