19th April 2024: Eli Creek - Fraser (K'gari) Island

Eli Creek is a popular freshwater creek located on the eastern side of K'Gari (Fraser Island), Queensland, Australia.
It is the largest freshwater creek on the island. It's also a popular spot for tourists who visit Fraser Island, as they can float down the creek's gentle current or explore its lush surroundings. Additionally, Eli Creek is home to various species of fish and wildlife, adding to its ecological significance.
A boardwalk takes you inland from the beach alongside the free flowing creek to a bridge where you can enter into the swift flowing shallow freshwater creek.
