I think about this often. If we can’t farm an animal, or we can’t sustainability hunt an animal, we shouldn’t be eating them, full stop. I live in Australia and the fact that our government let Japan hunt in the Southern Ocean for so long just sickens me. If it wasn’t for Paul Watson and the Sea Shepherd crew, I’m certain that multiple species of whale, especially Minke and Humpback, would be much closer to extinction. I’m eternally grateful for their continued efforts.
