This music is actually really good with releasing anger in a non violent way. As someone else described, it's like seeing your favorite team win. You didn't win, you weren't even in the game, but they won and you were rooting for them so you feel like you won. This music is really dark and angry, and that draws that stuff out of you.
Just found out that Joey Jordisan has passed away. RIP! When I discovered slipknot in 2000/01 they blew me away and his drumming was inspiring. His solo's and especially the rotating drum kit were just a little peak at how great an entertainer he was! I'll be listening to this all day!
