When I was 17 I went to the university to study literature, I met a friend who was a poet and encouraged me to write poetry. I had never wrote poetry before so through him, I discover that I was pretty good at writing poetry I win second place in an important contest in my country some magazines published my poems. This friend also wanted to be a musician "I want to do music like Chela, I want to be like Chela" he says to me one day and showed me this video on his old little Samsung phone I loved the song, was always playing on my phone in that time. Part of being a poet is to romanticize everything, I thought. After a time I lost contact with this friend he lost his mind due to drugs abuse, he had never been the same since that, talking with him was like talking to an empty shell, I tried but eventually, I didn't want to talk to him anymore. This was seven years ago, I never end my studies of literature, I forcibly moved to another country, I had a rough time dealing with depression, my creativity dies for 4 years, I stop writing, I forgot about this song. Today I've feeling better probably the best time in my life in a looong time, I start writing again, going to poetry events I've feeling more like my old self, and that feels good. Last night before sleep for some reason I remember the beat of this song, it just came to me, so I write down the name, and today I search for them. I listen to it. I cried like I never cried before for a song. For a long time, I thought that I could never write again and feel good about it, and listening to the lyrics was like Chela talking directly to me, and I telling you this story, dear stranger because I want you to know that after the storm, I face the rage I found the beauty, It feels good romanticize again.

Also this gives me severe nostalgia watching an 80s90s style video with someone my age dancing out the lyrics as I would when I was alone in my room listening to Ace of Base and the such. Every layer of the song, the bass (my fave), the riffs, the beat, the mélody, the lyrics, the voice, everything makes me want to shake my limbs uncontrollably.

i don't think the video is terrible. i think it's just simple and different. we're used to too many special effects and this is authentic , just like Chela is :).
Chela is unique, original & is herself. It's very rare to see an artist like Chela, & that makes it equally sad that she didn't get big worldwide. Rather than someone like Adele & her "Depressing songs that all sound the same", I would rather that Chela was given that platform because she brings a happy joy.

Most likely she was not promoted properly, there is so many brilliant artists but if they dont have the proper promotion of the album. They never make it. That was the case with nick drake. He didn't get known until years later. That and he suffer from anxiety.
Easily the best Chela song. Love those riffs and her voice. And the video's not terrible, even if it is low-budget.
