Anyone who is or knows someone who is a teacher has heard horror stories. A friend of mine taught 1st grade and had a student throw a chair at her. School administrators don't care enough to do anything, parents either don't care or assume its the teachers fault.
This is the primary reason we have a national teaching shortage crisis. Teachers are leaving the profession in a mass exodus and not many are even wanting to enter the field anymore. It has never been money as most educators know what they are getting into. Behaviors are seriously out of control everywhere and there is no accountability at all. It is really sad.

These days kids from 2 parent, households w/ parents named Gwen & Donovan act the same way. They pick the wrong role models. Athletes like Cam Newton are “weak” to them. Shannon’s 100% right about the roles. There’s three of them in psychology, superior, subordinate, or peer(equal). You get to choose one when interacting with any individual. No matter their age or gender. Depending on which role you establish determines the dynamic of that interaction. As adults interacting with children it’s extremely important to be respectful to the child but maintain a superior role. It’s not healthy for children to feel like the boss around elders such as parents, teachers, role models, mentors, counselors, etc…. The parents of these children have done them a great disservice and set those kids on a path of a lifetime of trouble.

Disrespect is a big thing among this new generation, I was born in 96’ but I see what my elders was saying when they said generations will get worst over the years. Us as man shouldn’t be so quick to anger gotta consistently do better fellas.
The book of Revelations tells us things are going to get worse and worse.
Our educators have been saying this for years. These kids have 0 discipline & accountability
💯
You haven't noticed this yourself for years?
Anyone who is or knows someone who is a teacher has heard horror stories. A friend of mine taught 1st grade and had a student throw a chair at her. School administrators don't care enough to do anything, parents either don't care or assume its the teachers fault.
TRUTH, mid ,1980s when disrespectfulness came regular
This is the primary reason we have a national teaching shortage crisis. Teachers are leaving the profession in a mass exodus and not many are even wanting to enter the field anymore. It has never been money as most educators know what they are getting into. Behaviors are seriously out of control everywhere and there is no accountability at all. It is really sad.
How many of us grew up with parents that didn't play? We turned out perfectly fine. These kids need discipline. Taught respect which are the basics. No not abuse but discipline. We are failing as a community, and I only see it worsening. I thank God for my Mother raising me the way she did. Shout out to all the Mothers and Fathers still trying!
