If this is the first time you're watching one of my videos, my name is Sharif and in this video, I started a store from scratch and took a product too.. you'll find out in the video. I did this through a process known as Shopify Dropshipping and drove traffic to the Shopify store through Facebook Ads to generate sales! This video is for entertainment purposes only.

Actually, ads are pretty much 10% of the whole thing. He's using the popular and well known structure (made by Arie Scherson and hybrid-ed by Saint Comm)

That's the holy trinity of the thing.
FB setup is really not that important at such low budgets. Most of that setup is there only so you can work with it easier, and structure it in a way that makes sense for you - the algo works in any case.
Self education is astounding nowadays, and I think students should take a break/quit school with a plan. However, just imagine a brilliant business mind working with economists in person daily? Yes, the internet is a thing but nothing beats in-person relationships and potential mentorships.

Keep in mind since I have experience it does look a bit more easier then it is.
@@sharifmohsin 100% get that. Have experienced the difficulty myself. My big problem is I stick with products too long by actually trying to brand them out and end up spending lots of money trying to make them work instead of moving on to something else. Definitely kills my motivation haha but I'm working on that mental block of getting attached to a product.
@@brandont8919 thats not always a bad thing. I myself started seeing much bigger and better results when I would put more time and planning into a store and build it out and brand it well. Hey Mohsin, just started watching your videos, very helpful indeed! could you pls do a video on the other aspects of this business like, if it’s better to do a sole proprietorship or llc, what to expect in terms of tax filing or business licence. Can we have multiple stores under one business licence, does shopify allow us to have multiple stores under one account... it would be nice to have a video on these areas as well.

i have one question when it comes to drop shipping and that’s about the bank account. does the money come into the bank account straight away and do bank accounts get suspended
yh it goes straight to your bank acc
it takes about 3 days for the money to get into your account per sale. since the money isn’t going straight to your account, it’s coming from shopify
So you have to purchase the products yourself first and then wait 3 days to get the money?

How does the behind the scenes work? Shipping, managing products etc. Would appreciate some help, thanks!
You do not really do anything since you do not have inventory of the items you actually “sell”. For instance, you get someone to buy the item on your site for $30 with their shipping info and everything, and then you go to the other site you buy the item from and put in orders on that adress. The returns are shit obviously, you have to refund and lose money but it does not happen that often. The biggest problem is getting bad reviews/suspension because of long shipping and some things that are out of your control since you do not own the items. There is also taxation on the win in some countries (ex. Norway, Sweden). In some countries you have to be a registered firm (this is all on the shopify site for respective country).
@@matejasavanovic6717 arent the shipping time very long? i sometimes buy items from aliexpress and they take 1 to 2 months to arrive. Wouldnt that cause problems with the customer
@@hubietrades well yes, shipping times are pretty long, however sometimes it arrives early (when half the world isn’t in quarantine). And even so it perhaps is long wait time, the items you should sell are not a necessity so people do not have a problem waiting. I have not done this though, only 3% of shopify stores actually succeed and in my opinion much of what is on youtube is for course selling etc. Wouldn’t risk it.

@@hubietrades Oh well it is just what i have picked up from watching the videos. Do not fall for ”top good to be true” scams. There are youtubers who do show when they fuck up, however, many of these ”get rich quick” videos are scams in my opinion. I have an instagram account, nothing else.

pretty sure the buyer fills out a shipping addresd when ordering and then he goes to ali express and fills his details out on there and sends it directly to him idk he might do it that way he might not
people wait 30+ days for an item from china then refund in masses.
Hey man, the customer leaves the information on your checkout and you use apps to order automatically so you don't have to waste time. The items arrive without invoices and the customer doesn't know you're dropshipping. The refund rate is really low in my experience especially if you let the customer know how long it will take when they order. You can contact me on ig if you have more questions, @steljicmarko
