Sir, I am facing extreme problems from my Rx135 4speed. The mileage is very low. Lesser than 20, I checked and found there is no leakage in the carb still very low mileage. Are my jets gone? Also the bike didn’t start in the morning without blocking the part of the carb from which air filter is connected. Help me out please sir. I never thought Rx series would be soo hard to maintain
Check the choke cable, your carb also needs cleaning

I have bought a rxz 4 speed with BJ019 block. Is this a local delhi made block because my friends are telling so. Will this create a problem in future as in engine noise or low pickup? Or should i go and buy an original second hand block?
If it’s running fine I suggest not to touch it. If you have performance issues then you can look at getting another cylinder
Is this a genuine block for rxz? I have heard about y series and e series but this one on every sellers page is mentioned imported. Is that so?

Hello. Can see some slight oil leak below the engine..not sure.why in my 03 rxg 5spd. Showed a local mech and he wants me to replace the sprocket seal and silencer gasket. Wanted your advice on this as this is my first bike ever and all wanna be sure
First thing first, get the bike washed completely and find out the source of the leak
If i want to put a vm 26 carb in indian rx 135 4s , what would be want to change???
It will work, the air filter might need to be changed plus jetting for the air filter

Also, I’m having this never ending problem :
I can hear some sort of a suction sound when I am giving throttle to the engine from idle. But it goes away once the RPM is higher than idling/when I’m riding.
I have replaced intake manifold, air filter box to carburettor rubber, air filter...but still the sound persists.
Is this making the mixture lean ? What could possibly be the problem ? Thanks!
suction sound at idle would mean issue with one of the things you listed above. check the manifold, install a power box if thats missing in your rxg

Bratty Biker check for leaks. But it should go up when you rev.
Yamakaze It goes away when I give throttle beyond the idling RPM. Also not noticeable when riding (though it’s been over a month since we’ve all ridden motorcycles lol)
Bratty Biker could be an exhaust leak or the piston movement sound. Cover the silencer opening with your foot and see if that helps you identify the source

Sir I’m having RX 135 4 speed. I tuned the air screw out to 1.5 turns as you said in the video. But by bike does not pulls above 95 kmph in full throttle. It feels like rpm cutoff in fuel injection bikes. Pls help me bro @yamakaze
2-3 things could be attributed to that all are fuel related though.
1. Bad main jet/ clogged atomiser
2. Incorrect float height
3. Air hole for the tank cap blocked
For 3rd, you can ride with the lid open and see if that brings a difference. For 1 & 2 you will have to dismantle the carb and clean it. Before doing anything take a plug reading at that rpm where the problem begins, another important point is never speak in terms of speed, always talk in terms of throttle position. If it’s a carb/ fuel issue it should happen in every gear at same RPM. Rear yezdi wheel can reduce top end

I've already asked you about my suzuki samurai and you helped me i have another thing which I need to know.
Previously it doesnt accelerate high automatically when cold starting or first time start in a day or starting after an hour.But now it accelerate very high soon when I start the engine for an hour or a day or a week.And also it accelerate very high when it is ran out of fuel. No throttle cable problem, no choke problem, idle screw adjusted to low. Soon it start to die when I ride for minutes. It doesnt idle. And also poor mileage even the carduretor tuned finely. What is the reason. Is it normal.
And also there are no scratches in the bore. Piston was not blown. But the kick is not that much tight enough as previously.
I'm planning to change piston rings. Changing rings can fix the problem?
Please help.
check for air leaks into the manifold
Had this problem with my Max 100R.
Found that the cracks in intake manifold was causing the mixture to lean out and increasing RPM. Changed the Intake manifold and then :
Cleaning,Rebuilding and tuning the carburettor would also fix it. Make sure that you fix the clip in the correct position in the needle.
If both doesn’t work, then you need to check compression and if it’s not good, then reboring is the only option.

Sai Yasaswi Are you premixing oil ? Is your oil pump working ?
Spark plug fouling everytime means you are mixing too much oil.
1) I think your mixture is too lean, caused by an air leak in the manifold (cracks in rubber) so even if carb is perfectly tuned, the leakage will allow more air to enter into the manifold and will make the mixture lean.
2) An easy Kicker does mean that low compression. Either your rings are worn out or yeah, you just need to rebore to the next oversize.
What size is your block currently ? Is it sleeved or unsleeved ? My suggestion is to get a new block piston kit, TVS is still manufacturing it so you can get it. If that’s not available, I think you will need to rebore the cylinder, hone it and chamfer the ports along with new piston and rings.
Here are some tips so that this won’t happen again :
1) If you are getting a new block piston kit from TVS, that’s the best option. Install it and it will be fine.
OR
If you are going for the next oversize, make sure to rebore and ask 30 microns for clearance. Rebore the cylinder , Hone the cylinder (Tiny X X X type of overlapping scratchmarks will help the bore retain oil = better lubrication = smoother engine = longer life of rings, piston.etc), polish and chamfer the ports (again, chamfering is smoothening the edge of the ports so that the rings won’t hit them hard when the piston is going up and down)
2) I’d also recommend a full rebuild with a crankcase and engine case clean-up, re-installation of parts along with new bearings, Crankshaft checkup and repairs, New clutch and pressure plates.etc
2) Remove the oil pump, oil tank and oil pipes and store them safely. Block the carburettor’s oil supply provision hole so it wouldn’t suck air and it won’t lean out the mixture.
You have to run the engine purely premixing the oil with the petrol in the fuel tank when you are filling up in the fuel stations. 25-30ml of oil per litre of fuel will be perfect. No need to worry about plug fouling or siezures due to oil pump failure (since you don’t have an oil pump to fail)
Use Shell Advance VSX or Motul MotoMix for the Engine and any Motul 3000 20W40 Oil for the gearbox.
3) Since you will be opening up the head, my suggestion would be to decarbonize the head using petrol and aluminum foil and rub it till you see the shine. No carbon deposits to be present whatsoever.
3) Remove your silencer and decarbonize it. Change the exhaust muffler to the Shogun replica (you’ll enjoy the sound)
4) Clean and rebuild the carburettor. Make sure the clip is in the second or third position from top, on the needle. Make sure you replace the float gasket. Make sure you clean all the jets and make sure you adjust the float height correctly.
5) Change all manifold rubbers, Check reed valve for proper operation. If they have trouble, replace them.
6) Check air filter box for any cracks or leaks and replace the box if found any. Replace air filter (soak in 2T oil, squeeze and install, it should only be slightly wet with oil)
7) Install NGK BP7HS Spark Plug and use Hero Honda Red cap as it’s a water resistant cap.
Complete run-in properly (1000KM). NEVER forget to premix fuel. Do not ride/run in a same RPM. Use all gears, use a wide range of throttle or engine speed.But do not hit redline or stress the engine too much.

Hello brother...my Rx engine is nearly bored .means low pickup and it needs to be re bored..one thing I didnt understand is my silencer sound on idle is good but on running I can get not that exact crisp it sounds like burrrrrrr...can u explain engine performance shows effect on beating of the silencer..r should I clean the silencer...thanks in advance brother

Tarun Kumar after you rebore you need to run the bike normally under 4000 rpm for 1000 kms

Check the cable, it might be stuck. If you know how to blip the throttle then try that when the bike is running, another possibility is that the slide is installed in the opposite direction

Brought a 03 rxz a week ago. Having issues with cold start. Need to Kick it more than 50 times. Once started then there are no issues felt. Request advice.
Are you using the choke? If no then try using the choke, if yes then try cleaning the carburetor once, change the plug

@@rakeshnair4724 choke is important since a cold bike needs more fuel to start, once started it can go without choke
brother, carb turning based on bike running. Air screw should be turn or adjust bike running. Each bike have different air screw turning.
Air screw and idle screw is mainly for idling adjustments to about quarter throttle position. These do not play any significant role once the quarter throttle position is crossed
while doing the aircrew adjustment, bike should be running engine.
@@rxtuningpoint2270 for airscrew you can do on a non running bike but idle screw adjustment is done on a running bike

You have to take a plug reading with a fresh plug, specifically at the rpm where the bogging happens. Based on the reading we can look at the next course of action

shreyas ms the bike should give anything above 30, if it’s stock. Check for leaks, also make sure your method of checking mileage is consistent. Do it reserve to reserve. Once the bike host reserve pour about a liter of fuel and note the kms till it hits reserve again

shreyas ms if you are planning to set the idling RPM you have to do it based of the sound, turn the idling screw anti clock will till the bike starts to die, then turn quarter of turn clockwise, do it when the engine is warm

Hey would a vm 26 imported carb for 5 spd rxz be a good idea? It seems that is what they use for king in Malaysia
King has different ports and a chamber, buying just a carburetor won’t give you any major gains, you will have to jet the carb to work on the Indian ports or else it will misfire

Ak updates not that simple, you need to fuze 2 cranks and the crank case needs to be fused. The costs would run more than buying a decent twin plus it will not run like a twin should run. It will not be road legal.

Ak updates you will have to increase the length of the output shaft and balance it. If you are seriously considering this then try doing it on a max 100 and I can share some information if you are serious in Pursuing it further.

It will but if your air fuel mixture or oil mixture is wrong the plug will get shot easily
