8:22 What happens if you lose or gain bone hearts? If you lose and *then* gain a bone heart, does it still turn back into a red heart? 9:27 How does going back up work? Do you go straight back to the floor, backtrack through all the instances of the crawlspace you went through, or are you stuck in the crawlspace forever?
I love how "two prayers for the lost" is useless to the lost (because soul hearts) but "two prayers for the forgotten" is super useful to the forgotten (because bone hearts).
So the Lovers? Card is like the Magic Skin from actual antibirth, except you can only use it once and it doesn't ruin your item rooms. That's a fair trade
Fun runbreak with the stars: d1+ car battery. Find one full charge on the floor and dupe that, then start duping the reverse stars in another room until there's too many to move around, then start popping them in another room. Enjoy!
At first i thought the fool is only good to get into boss challenge rooms but you can also use it in a devil/sacrifice room and reroll the pedestals or void them Magician is discount Algiz (still good with 2 spooky) High Priestress is great with pyromaniac but otherwise borderline suicidal Empress is a better strength, totally abuse its effect in devil deals since you won't even get your hearts removed when it wears off (you can only keep the strength heart when it's the only heart you have left) Emperor is a bonus boss but without the trapdoor (still better then new boss challenge room) but you better use it mid to lategame since the random effect could throw you a bloat Only use Hierophant with hearts lying around or you waste your wonderful heart containers Lovers has the Magic Skin effect, items for a deadweight heart container. Treat it like a devil deal for only one heart (in the right room), at least this card won't follow you whenever you try to get rid of it Chariot is finally good for bosses now, say bloat, brownie and other fragile bosses with pain in the ass attack patterns goodbye as you have invictibility and mad firepower. Since you can barely move and it's over quite fast you better not waste it on bosses who move around alot (especially charges or leaps) Justice: spawns golden chests. You already know where to bring this baby to, don't you? Hermit: gives you money for useless stuff lying around in the room. Great if you got a restock steam sale chaos shop game break to pawn useless active items or blank runed alot of items (since blank card jera got removed). Can't sell items from markets/devil deals Wheel of fortune is treated best as a d100 that can potentially restart the floor. Really iffy, i guess it works in shops after you beat the floor boss but didn't get a devil deal of your liking Since stength weakens not only enrmies currently in the room but also the next spawning ones it's amazing in boss rush, new boss challenge rooms or bosses with multiple phases like greedier ultra greed where chaos card alone would not cut it Hanged man turns you into keeper but without the stupid coins for life mechanic and you get extra cash on kill. Maybe even useful to clear keeper checkmarks?
A couple of things: 1) The boss fight from The Emperor? isn't random; it'll always be from the next chapter 2) I'm pretty sure the change to the Keeper when using The Hanged Man? is purely visual and doesn't actually alter your character
@@diptochakrabarti5515 yupp, you are right, the character transformations into maggie and keeper are just cosmetic, just like the edith chariot or void monster temperance easter eggs
Actually, the reverse Emperor card will always give you a boss that can appear two floors below the current floor. The background of the boss fight reflects this. (Not sure if this was the case at the time of recording the video--a later patch could have introduced this functionality.)
During the April Fools Challenge I used "How To Jump" so many times I actually discovered those cards by accident. Because I could use that book infinitely, I just did some really wacky stuff.

The reverse tower effect is pretty cool looking not gonna lie

and addicted
Reversed Judgement It's the New Perthro for Blank Card
9:30 "Korega... REQUIEM da."
XVI- the tower be like: CRAZY DIAMONDA
I'm sure, someone else is going to see this comment, and know what to do.
0:30 :Sounds like Roblox death sound.
Oofan
I love the cute little spin Isaac does after each card
Dude, I'll keep saying it, this DLC keeps amazing me every day.
Every card here became cooler and cooler, like reverse tower... wtaf.
why is no one talking about how broken the moon card is? it's literally an angel deal item for free
Thank you! That card is singlehandedly the best one in the game!
6:45 If you're wondering, Yes, XV - The Devil? CAN be used to kill mom and mom's heart (Exactly like the bible)
If u unlock all of the things its going to be overpowered as hell i think the new strategies are endless for now and Id love to see how things are going to work out for people with streaks like Sinvicta
9:32 nice. You did ,,polnareff's" stairs with taro card named the world
8:22 What happens if you lose or gain bone hearts? If you lose and *then* gain a bone heart, does it still turn back into a red heart?
9:27
How does going back up work? Do you go straight back to the floor, backtrack through all the instances of the crawlspace you went through, or are you stuck in the crawlspace forever?
Yup, you lose heart containers. And i think he just walk up to nor floor
Glad to see you back edith!
I love how "two prayers for the lost" is useless to the lost (because soul hearts) but "two prayers for the forgotten" is super useful to the forgotten (because bone hearts).
9:27 And thats how isaac got stuck in the backrooms
repentance just keeps suprising me everytime i thought i saw everything
So the Lovers? Card is like the Magic Skin from actual antibirth, except you can only use it once and it doesn't ruin your item rooms.
That's a fair trade
magic skin made it into repentance as well lol
Seeing you use the stars? on Monstro's Lung caused me physical pain
Reverse Tower - one of the most creative things in the whole Isaac
4:20 I'm going to guess IX - The Hermit? just sells a small section of one of Isaac's internal organs when there's nothing to sell
5:29 i get it isaac litterally becomes a hanged man
Fun runbreak with the stars: d1+ car battery. Find one full charge on the floor and dupe that, then start duping the reverse stars in another room until there's too many to move around, then start popping them in another room. Enjoy!
persona fans: I've been waiting for this
All I see is 9 possible free items with the lovers hahaha
Interesting How 0 - The Fool Reversed Sounds Kind Of Like "Orphan", And The Fact That They Introduced The Adoption Papers In The Same DLC
At first i thought the fool is only good to get into boss challenge rooms but you can also use it in a devil/sacrifice room and reroll the pedestals or void them
Magician is discount Algiz (still good with 2 spooky)
High Priestress is great with pyromaniac but otherwise borderline suicidal
Empress is a better strength, totally abuse its effect in devil deals since you won't even get your hearts removed when it wears off (you can only keep the strength heart when it's the only heart you have left)
Emperor is a bonus boss but without the trapdoor (still better then new boss challenge room) but you better use it mid to lategame since the random effect could throw you a bloat
Only use Hierophant with hearts lying around or you waste your wonderful heart containers
Lovers has the Magic Skin effect, items for a deadweight heart container. Treat it like a devil deal for only one heart (in the right room), at least this card won't follow you whenever you try to get rid of it
Chariot is finally good for bosses now, say bloat, brownie and other fragile bosses with pain in the ass attack patterns goodbye as you have invictibility and mad firepower. Since you can barely move and it's over quite fast you better not waste it on bosses who move around alot (especially charges or leaps)
Justice: spawns golden chests. You already know where to bring this baby to, don't you?
Hermit: gives you money for useless stuff lying around in the room. Great if you got a restock steam sale chaos shop game break to pawn useless active items or blank runed alot of items (since blank card jera got removed). Can't sell items from markets/devil deals
Wheel of fortune is treated best as a d100 that can potentially restart the floor. Really iffy, i guess it works in shops after you beat the floor boss but didn't get a devil deal of your liking
Since stength weakens not only enrmies currently in the room but also the next spawning ones it's amazing in boss rush, new boss challenge rooms or bosses with multiple phases like greedier ultra greed where chaos card alone would not cut it
Hanged man turns you into keeper but without the stupid coins for life mechanic and you get extra cash on kill. Maybe even useful to clear keeper checkmarks?
I've read somewhere that the stomp from Mom's foot doesn't count as explosive damage anymore, so not even pyromaniac could save you
A couple of things:
1) The boss fight from The Emperor? isn't random; it'll always be from the next chapter
2) I'm pretty sure the change to the Keeper when using The Hanged Man? is purely visual and doesn't actually alter your character
@@diptochakrabarti5515 yupp, you are right, the character transformations into maggie and keeper are just cosmetic, just like the edith chariot or void monster temperance easter eggs
Reverse Temperance plus Blank Card, PHD, Car Battery, and Tarot Cloth will bring forth a ton of awesome.
i used the emperor once and got teleported to mom, after that i was stuck in the room with no way out :D

3:55 oh boy the possibilities for game breaks . . . OH HOW EXCITING.
Actually, the reverse Emperor card will always give you a boss that can appear two floors below the current floor. The background of the boss fight reflects this. (Not sure if this was the case at the time of recording the video--a later patch could have introduced this functionality.)
9:27 nice inception reference! Edmund Genius!
Those are awesome. Tarot cloth and blank card just got a whole lot better as well!

"The card is powerful enough to Turn most bullet hell bosses into jokes*
*still gets hit* -_-
0:30 its just me that hears the narrator saying "oh fu-" here?
Thanks. I always forget what some of them do.
ngl the art on the back of the card should have been reversed
Reversed in tarot cards = Upside down
They are.
but the back of the card is... just the same pattern upside down. because its the back of the card, it's just a pattern on the back
AYO TEARS DOWN IS JUST anti depressants?
And tears up is just depressants?
Reverse fool have his uses. Like, play reverse fool then use diplopia or jera rune. Doubling your resourse pool.

Crazy Diamond be like:
My The Temperance?:
Health down, bad trip, explossive diarrhea, paralysis, and if I'm still alive, tears down.
8:54 literal el sueño húmedo que vengo pidiendo AÑOS. Voy a llorar
I like how in the intro, he has curse of the lost for the question mark
Nice transition to the ending 🌟
Reverse Tower is my personal favorite, it just seems like really clever design
During the April Fools Challenge I used "How To Jump" so many times I actually discovered those cards by accident. Because I could use that book infinitely, I just did some really wacky stuff.
7:52
N O O M
how turn the tables before the sun was one of the best tarot cards and this twisted versión is an "I will only grab it if the run is already lost"
Oh heck, does Inverted Justice signify that Isaac already Chested himself?
Reversed empress card when used says the sun has vanished the horrible night if you noticed.
just helped me beat the lamb during the ace of spades unlock
imagine getting 2 explosive diarrhea pills and paralysis because of the temperance
imagine getting 2 health down at the start of the run, getting paralysis, explosive diarrhoea and, just to rub it in *Something's Wrong*
@@woobgamer5210 at that point, I'd be worried my computer somehow gained sentience and was subtly telling me to stop playong
I like how the high priestess card description is just..
*Run*
8:48 if you gather / loss bone hearts , will they be removed / added as full container after the next floor ?
It's crazy that Justice? said in reverse sounds like Suicide
the emperor reversed actually makes you fight the boss that is 2 floors later, and it will crash the game if you use it on maso/gehenna 2
Not crash but you rather get stuck in the boss room
They should’ve had a reverse chaos card that either killed you or cloned everything in the room and if somethings dead revive it instead of clone it
Why tho?
@@lileofficial4273 yes.

2:28 but what if you haven't unlocked forgotten?
If you use Reverse Tower in a big room can you get more marked rocks/treasure rocks?
After looking up who edith was supposed to be I'm actually kinda sad we didn't get her as a character
9:26 isaac turns his basement into an mc escher painting
a quick warning for "The emperor?" there is a chance that it will send you to the mom fight and soft lock you if you don't have the fool
