This is my very first animatic on youtube (lets ignore when I made the channel compared to the video date) and this took 14 days, a few hours each day.. so... stress. Anyways I still dont know youtube etiquette so hopefully the video dosent get taken down with in seconds :P

I love the idea of a Dionysus-esqe Joel design(I think a god of madness works really well, considering the nature of like every single kill Joel's gotten so far across all six seasons, absolute madlad, boys) and you pulled it off really well. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for dark scleras + perpetual tears, whatever, who says it can't be both

This is stunning! Excellent song choice, I may be in love. I find it interesting how you seem to be comparing Joel specifically to Dionysus here; is that meant to be an Empires S2 reference, by any chance? (Also, the purple blood that looks like stylized wine makes for FANTASTIC imagery. The use of colour is generally fantastic here: I like how you’ve left most of the animatic a sort of pastel monochrome and used tiny bits of colour as accents and to draw attention to things like blood and the yellow hearts, and I love the still of the broken clock and the vines at around the two-minute mark.)
EDIT: Also, more random colour stuff - I think it’s interesting how often you use colour to draw attention to Joel’s eyes, and the only other character who gets that treatment is Scott while he’s killing Joel? Also, I’m probably reading too much into it, but I like how at the beginning Grian and Jimmy are the same colour as the background, but Joel’s shaded slightly darker. Gives him a nice weight in that scene, I think.)
