Don't know who you are, but I remember this cartoon from the 1950s. Always wanted to see it again....THANK YOU!!
This is one of my favorite cartoons of all time!!
@@jasonwindsor5976 I'm not really sure but I think the sunshine people are just so adorable 😍
Remember kids: It doesn't matter what others want. If others aren't like you, you must MAKE them be like you! Also, feel free to bombard your neighbors long after they've ceased hostilities. So many life lessons here!
But also in wars, sometimes you must fight dirty and retaliate by extremity just to be in the defense.
Watched this as a child on one of those old cartoon complication vhs tapes. Cool that I can show my family now.
One of my favorite cartoons growing up
I remember seeing this when I was a kid. These old fashioned cartoons were great!
me too, they used to show these old cartoons on early morning TV, back in the early 50's.
Saw this on a VHS cassette full of random cartoons back around 1982...... It’s always stuck in my head, probably because of the sad ones with their song “we’re happy when we’re sad”.…. It’s always made me chuckle to this day.…. Thanks for uploading.
Same 😂 I remember struggling to find this particular cartoon because I didn’t know the name, 😅 had to look it up using the little words i knew from the sunshine song.
Omg, I remember this from an older DVD we had when I was younger and liking it. I knew I could find it on youtube but forgot the name so I was just searching from what I remembered of it: "Milk vs coal elfs animation" "Ash vs milk dwarfs animation" and finally found it with "milk seller dwarfs old animation" XD
Growing up in the early 1950s watching this cartoon on our local SF Bay Area TV stations and a little later seeing the evening news talking about something called the "Cold War" gave me strange thoughts about milk perhaps being radiative and a perfect weapon against our potential enemies.
And splashing milk on those bad people all while singing the cool "Sunshine Sunshine" song.
Ahh...life was so simple back then in my 6 year old brain.
And yet it was created before the Cold War became official. But still a good analogy when it comes to the Cold War (and world war II) before it happens.
More relevant now than when it was made 😏
I remember this the cartoon I watch my old childhood memories of the cartoon with that one I watching on DVD all the cartoons

Did anyone notice that it was produced by Borden's milk company?
Actually, it was produced by Van Beuren Studios (as part of their "Rainbow Parade" series) in 1934, and originally released in January 1935. Co-director Ted Eshbaugh acquired it- and another Van Beuren cartoon he co-directed with Burt Gillett- after the studio closed in 1936. He then created new opening and closing titles [eliminating Gillett's credit], and leased them to advertisers as "promotional" films. In 1940, he gave "The Sunshine Makers" to Borden's Milk. Home movie rights [8/16mm, with refilmed titles, in black and white] went to Official Films (as a "Merry-Toon" offering) in the spring of 1946.
Peewee Herman had this cartoon on one of his shows...
Originally saw this on Pee Wee’s Playhouse, always wondered what the full cartoon was!

Recently saw this- idk what they characters are singing aside from hail his mag/es/ty the sun. Wierd stuff in old cartoons.
the new day is dawning and here is the sun(hail his majesty the sun)
the sun is the one that gives you much fun and keeps the blues away
and we are the ones who bring you the sun new and everyday (hail his majesty)
The horrific animal exploitation machine at work in the 1930's - and sadly continuing to this day..............
3:06 - The original Goths?
Definitely one of the best. Author reflection of the flower, power days and the sunshine makers of LSD sunshine.
