- The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the most iconic and recognizable landmarks in New York City. It was the first bridge across the East River to be constructed. I walk across the bridge at night from Manhattan to Brooklyn. It is still frequented by tourists at night, but many of the vendors have closed up for the day. The bridge offers stunning views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Statue of Liberty.

Damn. I have heard about the vendors on the bridge, but that is too much. All the containers everywhere and radios blasting, it’s embarrassing. Walking across the bridge is such a beautiful and majestic thing to do, but these days I feel like if there is a way to ruin something the city will figure out how. Sorry to be Debbie Downer, I just can’t believe what is happening to our city ♥️

I can't believe the vendors are allowed to set up on the bridge. It looks like a slum! I hope permission is overturned quickly.
I just heard that the arch towers of the Brooklyn Bridge has finally lit up as of now. It’s been over a decade since it was last lit up back in 2008 when this bridge was celebrated its 125th anniversary. After years of fixings like replacing original lights from the main suspension cables, restoring both arch towers, and lots of work that has been done for decades, and now, all of the LED flood lights are installed in both towers and all covered in white, and LED lights are all installed on all suspension cables to make this bridge, better, bolder and beautiful for years to come.
Nice walk, Kenneth. I think the city should remove those vendors. Looks like it takes a lot away from the experience as well as them being in the way.

Travellers and tourists nowadays only want to take pictures and post, eat, take pictures, and post. Buying souvenirs is money wasting money and not sustainable. Shopping of nice brand clothings and items of value are the norm. Of course, this is only my thoughts and observations.
