I'm a star darling......lmao! I'm enjoying the new format, I feel like I'm just having a a casual conversation with others that are in love with the same hobby.
Always enjoy your hauls! This bucket haul:of goodness included! And yes, my sister and I’s bunk bed became our EVERYTHING - our fort, tent, dollhouse park area, “school room, etc. Good memories! This week I happened upon a stunningly handmade 1:12 dollhouse - I don’t believe it’s from a kit. It’s 2 story with 2 ample rooms on each floor, with a beautiful staircase too. Each room has beautiful wallpaper and flooring and is full of gorgeous vintage and a few modern furniture pieces (including some signed pieces) and so many darling accessories! This was amazing in every way as I almost never ever come across any non-plastic dollhouses, doll furniture or accessories … until this fateful day! And when I asked the clerk at the antique/consignment shop what she knew about the dollhouse, she said, “the woman who made it decided to sell and it’s $95 (!!). Before I could even speak (to shout “Ill take it NOW!) … she then said, “ but she will take $85. OMG! Somehow, somehow I managed to stay upright and say, “that will work for me!” So, I bought it and I’m still in grateful disbelief! Everything about it is just so lovely, including sweet curtains, a darling Dutch door, beautiful dormer windows and plexiglass-glass that covers the “back” so the interior is all visible! And the plexiglass is easy to remove, etc. So, I’m getting ready to remove everything (thankfully attached with museum wax, not glue) and give it a good cleaning. Then, I will put many of the furniture pieces and accessories from this house in my other much larger 1:12 house, where they will fit perfectly! I still can’t believe this! And, many of the furniture pieces and accessories have been on my “wish list” for a long time! Fate! I’m thinking I will re-purpose this newly acquired house into some kind of shop with the 2 rooms upstairs as living quarters. We shall see! Thanks for sharing in my joy of a find! Thanks again for the haul! Best, Kathleen
OMG you have me salivating over here!!!! That is the kind of dreams I have! Finding minis for deals that I just can't pass up! If you are up for it I'd love to see it. You can email me pics at whitneylabrieevents@gmail.com.
Yes I agree, the bed was I think the stand out piece in this lot. The other items were in great shape overall though and would be great in any dollhouse!
Inigo! I knew you were a Gangsta! 🤩 I was absolutely terrified what you might find in the newspaper at the bottom of that bucket 😅 Love the photos of the dolls house 🥰✨
lmao! I know I feared it too a little cause I have no idea how long it was sitting in a garage or where ever before it came to me! I'm a big Princess Bride fan! You?
lol...this is a new haul unrelated to the Uhaul....and I haven't decided yet if the debt is repaid..if they are reading they should probably be careful! lmao
I live in Missouri and our Ben Franklin’s were independently owned/operated. It was like a much smaller Hobby Lobby/Michaels. The last one in Missouri closed within the last 15-20 years or so.
wow, I did not know what a Bleter bed was until this video. I looked it up Gorgeous. I am going to make some dollhouse funiture inthat fashion. After all my other 72 projecta are done! HAHA!
for real! I hear you on 72 projects..and counting! I've always liked having lots to get done, it may be overwhelming at times but as a good friend of mine once said, " I don't want to let the grass grow under my feet!"
Love your shirt. We had a Ben Franklins in the small town I lived in Maine as a kid. It was in this old building which definitely added to the stores charm. They always had one of those penny machines which you could get runts out of, now to me is like oh gross loose candy, but I thought that was cool as a little kid.
yay! You noticed my shirt! I was wondering if anyone would. That is one of my dad's and my favorite movies together. I bought him a t-shirt that said "Inconceivable!" so he sent me this one. I wish I had been able to go to a Ben Franklins. It reminds me of a store we had in Texas called Motts. I don't know if you had those where you are. Same though with the penny runts machines! Good times!
@@WhitneyLaBrie I have an Inconceivable shirt 😂One of my favorites movies that I still love to quote. I might make a diorama with Princess Bride theme one day.
Late to the comment game, but Ben Franklin was a big craft store - like a mega michaels or hobby lobby without the bibles. They closed up shop in my area in the late 90's.
Oh yes, it was always great visit to our local Ben Franklin store! I went often with my grandma and great aunt - for crafts supplies, yarn, thread, etc. The store had a bit of everything “back in the day.”
You didn’t make a spaceship with the bunk beds? We made up our own language to go with 😂 I’m still such a child. I think buckets might be a thing. I bought a set of second hand Wedgwood dishes and received them in buckets in perfect condition. 🤷🏻♀️ Take care xx
bahahahaha! You know I don't remember if we ever pretended they were space ships, but I did remember that we used to sit on one side of the bed and put our little dishes and cookware and acted like we were on a cooking show. We never had our own language, but we did have a few funny words that we made up and sometimes to this day we say them to each other randomly and then crack up. I'll never pass up a bucket again without a quick peek inside! lol
awe poor thing! Yes things happen as kids, my sister jumped off and she hit her leg on the dresser on the way down and cut herself pretty well, I think we tried to hide that from our parents to keep them from knowing we were being bad!
I'm 67, and I remember Ben Franklin stores when I was young, but not in any recent times. ❤
Based on some of the other comments, it sounds like it was a fun store to shop at!
My eyes are grateful for the blessing that is this incredible content on my screen.
I am grateful for the time you took to watch! Thank you for that! 🥰
I really enjoy seeing you on screen. You are hilarious! Looked like fun to go through.

Cute they all seem to go together, don't worry,we understand, we have been there
yeah I agree! Thank you. :)
The accessories are my favorite of your hauls. They’re always so cute and unique.
yes I LOVE accessories too! I always say the are the jewelry of the room!
I remember Ben Franklins, Woolworth, and Woolco all five and dime stores that sold everything imaginable. Fun haul. Have a great day
Yes Woolworth for sure! And also we had a Mott’s which was a five and dime.
These are fun to watch! You are very informative. ❤
I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! I try to give as much info as I have and I learn a lot from the viewers also!

I think the furniture is very nice. In particular, the crib, the vintage dresser with mirror, bunk beds, French looking bed, etc.😊❤👍

Aren’t they so fun. My sister bought those for me from Dollar Tree!
@@WhitneyLaBrie What an awesome find! I’ll have to go on a Dollar Tree hunt 😂
There was a Ben Franklin's Crafts on Oahu when my husband was stationed there. I loved that store, but it was before I was into miniatures.
It sounds like a store that I would have for sure shopped at!
I assumed the items you show us are mostly from the Uhaul lot.
Is the debt considered repaid or does that person still need to watch their back? 😆
