That would be a way to buff rook. But i think ubisoft is trying to get away from those unique interactions because they make the game more complicated to even veteran players. I think that's why dokabi can now call echo and pick up his phone. It makes the game seem more reliable and easy to learn.

If you have warden glasses active then it reduces the effect of the flash and breaks after it is used for a specific amount of time along with the original suggested change here. It wouldn't break after a single flash, but after like 3 seconds or whatever of usage and doesn't remove the effect, just makes it less bright.
Hey Ubisoft, here's an easy warden fix. 1) Wardens gadget needs to also work for concussive effects. 2) fix his load out by removing Wardens pistol, move the mpx to a secondary weapon, and give him another shotgun primary. (Basically warden has primary shotguns and smg/machine pistol secondaries.)

What if instead of just giving them one flash immunity you had 2 charges that reset every time they were FULLY used and 1 charge could protect from multiple flashes instead of just saying that we should stop 1
hey Matt, do you think a good solution to rainbows current problems would be to do the same thing with operators as they did with maps a while ago. removing them out of the ranked pool, I know this sounds extreme but there are just some operators like lion and glaz who just will never be balanced because of how they work at their core. I think it will be a good temporary solution to rainbows problems right now and especially make the game a lot more fun.
On the idea of changing Warden's gadget; make it similar to Rook dropping armor, but don't let him drop 5. Have him drop 2 or 3, make the team communicate about who will be anchoring and who will be roaming. On top of that, give each pair of glasses a specific number of uses. And keep the cooldown; don't let people just spam it when they know the enemy is outside the room. Make defense react to the flash thrown in. This makes it strong, but a well coordinated offense can still jump through the window and take someone out while they're activating the glasses.

What you were talking about, with warzone, already exists. The first thing you install is warzone. Then, you choose what packs to download so you can choose multiplayer and campaign without spec ops

warzone size wise i mean you've got 1Tb storage without externals. I've never had an issue with space and have a lot of games on my Xbox one without any external drives.
About the warden buff concept, maybe the sunglasses wouldn't do anything (or only counter normal stuns) until warden activates his gadget? That way it wouldn't make ying worthless while still countering her and making warden way more useful. Also make his own glasses always immune to stuns.

Mat, what you were saying about console players picking what aspects of Modern Warfare to download in order to save space already exists. To play certain modes like campaign, mp, spec ops, and warzone, you have to download specific file packs first to get that content. As far as the game size, i’m on PS4 and when you download it it lets you download separate parts of the game, for example I only have Warzone and multiplayer downloaded so it only takes 120 GB, if you download the entire game it takes up close to 200 GB
I talked about this with my friends, they think if implemented properly could work. What if they allowed warden to see attacker gadgets within 12 or so meters. The distance could be changed, what are your thoughts on this?
Warden could put down smart glasses if the glasses worked where they were always on and stopped working after 2 flashes. That way it doesn’t break ying, you just have more time to look away before the glasses go. Warden could still activate the ability to see through smoke, but the flash mitigation would be automatically on and wear off after 2 flashes

Make warden's glasses a droppable, and then make their ability be to reduce the amount of time to recover from flashes, and keep his glasses the same. That's be a cool and interesting change that would be pretty fair.
Recently on Reddit someone leaked what guns originally Ubisoft had planned for Nokk and Warden. They were going to give Warden a modified P90 which would called the P90SD. It didn’t say why they didn’t give it to him, but hopefully the devs will give him that gun in the future.
Warden fix: Warden gives out glasses to his team mates but their glasses only give 40% flash bang blindness reduction and 60% more visible in smoke while standing still. Meanwhile Warden has his regular glasses which now also can see through smoke without standing still.
Maybe make the glasses a passive effect, like rooks plates. They help recovery from flashes, but don't completely negate them, which leaves warden with a powerful ability and helps the team without destroying flashes.

What do you think about the idea of warden getting a tactical flashlight. The flashlight would be attached to your gun giving you three flashes. Working kinda like blitz shield but 1/4 as intrusive. The flash is more a stun and to stop plants and rushes after utility dumps ie flashes grenades and such.
Hey Matimio had a thought for a defensive operator. The concept would be for the operator to have some type of tether device that can only be thrown onto hatches to slow down anyone who drops the hatch. It wouldn’t really be a device that hurts the attacker but more so just to slow them down I.e. if someone waits til the last second to drop the hatch they get caught on this device and hinder them more or less emphasizing faster game play.
To answer your questions about choosing which mode in CoD, you can select what to download. You can uninstall Spec Ops and campaign if you just wanted multiplayer

Most consoles come with 500 gigs, I know for me having modern warfare installed means I have to uninstall 3-4 other games I play

Make warden a 3 speed, make it so he can still see through smoke while moving. Or how about he doesn’t pass glasses to the entire team just maybe to one or 2 people keep in mind as a attacker you would be able to clearly see the pair of glasses on the defenders

Mat, what you were saying about console players picking what aspects of Modern Warfare to download in order to save space already exists. To play certain modes like campaign, mp, spec ops, and warzone, you have to download specific file packs first to get that content. My game is only like 120 GB bc I didn’t download campaign or spec ops👍🏽

I like the Warden placing glasses idea, but I think it would be interesting if you were resistant to flashes when equipped, but they break when hit by a bullet

How about warden is able to give out 4 pairs of glasses but they act as a passive ability and only reduce the flash effect so it doesn’t last as long and defenders can partially see through smoke when standing still. I feel this will provide enough utility to make him a viable operator choice
To make the suggested warden buff more viable, you could make it so his glasses function the same but those that he drops for his teammates have a limited number of uses. ANOTHER potential buff would be that his gadget doesn't have a cooldown and can always be active
I think that letting warden give glasses to the other operators but the glasses can be seen through smokes. Allow the glasses to see through smoke after standing still. The effects of the glasses should go down as the round continues
Here’s a warden buff, give him the ability to give them pairs to the team, give it the ability to AUTOMATICALLY TURN on during a flash but give it limited flash protect.

warden could hand out glasses and the only time they activate is when warden activates his, so it gives incentives to keep him alive while also requiring team work in order for it to be effective.

As far as the game size, i’m on PS4 and when you download it it lets you download separate parts of the game, for example I only have Warzone and multiplayer downloaded so it only takes 120 GB, if you download the entire game it takes up close to 200 GB
I talked about this with my friends, they think if implemented properly could work. What if they allowed warden to see attacker gadgets within 12 or so meters. The distance could be changed, what are your thoughts on this?
Warden could put down smart glasses if the glasses worked where they were always on and stopped working after 2 flashes. That way it doesn’t break ying, you just have more time to look away before the glasses go. Warden could still activate the ability to see through smoke, but the flash mitigation would be automatically on and wear off after 2 flashes
They could make it so that he hands out glasses which halves the duration of any flashes and gives partial visibility through smokes within 10 metres.
I wanna see more questions like that last one, very intuitive. But I think these reworked maps are being put into place to work for newer operators.

and for the LTE i think you can implement certain parts of floors in maps to be like the LTE
So I think the giving of the glasses for flash bangs isn’t a bad idea. Just limit the power of glasses say they vulnerable after getting hit by 2 flash bangs an the third one thrown affects the player personally
I think they should add in these completely destructible floors in certain places and also bring in the indestructible glass from that tourney of champions event.
I think a new operator based on sensory abilities would be cool idea like a sub sonic sound gun that deafens others or mess with gadets. Also a operator that has a blinding flood light so if you open up a reinforced wall say in garage you can’t see inside because the light is so bright and maybe the two can counter each other

Recently on Reddit someone leaked what guns originally Ubisoft had planned for Nokk and Warden. They were going to give Warden a modified P90 which would called the P90SD. It didn’t say why they didn’t give it to him, but hopefully the devs will give him that gun in the future.

Warden fix: Warden gives out glasses to his team mates but their glasses only give 40% flash bang blindness reduction and 60% more visible in smoke while standing still. Meanwhile Warden has his regular glasses which now also can see through smoke without standing still.

Maybe make the glasses a passive effect, like rooks plates. They help recovery from flashes, but don't completely negate them, which leaves warden with a powerful ability and helps the team without destroying flashes.

What do you think about the idea of warden getting a tactical flashlight. The flashlight would be attached to your gun giving you three flashes. Working kinda like blitz shield but 1/4 as intrusive. The flash is more a stun and to stop plants and rushes after utility dumps ie flashes grenades and such.

Hey Matimio had a thought for a defensive operator. The concept would be for the operator to have some type of tether device that can only be thrown onto hatches to slow down anyone who drops the hatch. It wouldn’t really be a device that hurts the attacker but more so just to slow them down I.e. if someone waits til the last second to drop the hatch they get caught on this device and hinder them more or less emphasizing faster game play.
To answer your questions about choosing which mode in CoD, you can select what to download. You can uninstall Spec Ops and campaign if you just wanted multiplayer
Maybe thatcher’s EMPs disable the glasses temporarily if warden is able to give his team the glasses.
