That was possibly the most interesting in-depth conversation about why the Bills are so good this year I’ve heard. This is why UA-cam and podcasts are amazing. You get nowhere near this exciting level of info on the radio. Great work! Nate was amazing.
Thank you for putting this together with Nate, Joe. Having the perspective that the Bills benefitted from injury rather than being hampered by it is rare indeed. To think Milano, Williams, Lewis, Elam, Jefferson, Phillips, Miller, Toohill and Bishop are all available to take meaningful situational snaps for Bobby Babich to unleash the kraken is super exciting. Let’s go 1-0 vs the Niners. We control our destiny.
I love the fact that we played the Texans the Chiefs, the Cardinals the Dolphins, the ravens, Seahawks.. and we will also play the Lions the 49ers , and rams ….all who probably will be in playoffs ..the way the Buffalo Bills have been adjusting in second halves this year….. gives me complete confidence that McDermott and staff can make adjustments in playoffs against these teams…..
Good morning Joe !!! Josh just seems to be much more comfortable in his own skin. Maturity on the field, a happy home life, he's living life large. This is our year !Go Bills !! #burythe49ers !!! 💯🤟😎
Thank you so much for this content. I really enjoy your work everyday and as a native spanish speaker, this videos are highly appreciated because most of the youtube channels dedicated to the buffalo bills in my language have very limited knowledge (not to mention zero knowledge) about the game. No tape analysis, no advanced stats, no trustful info, just lame opinions of people who has little understanding of football basic concepts.
Thinking about Matt Milano coming back seriously makes me giddy! Mahomes was confused and off balance the entire game, with TB locking him down as that sneaky spy. Throw Milano into the mix, and you have a four man rush collapsing on you, Von Miller trying to remind everyone he can still do great things and take down the reigning champ, and TB and Matt Milano there to cause trouble. KC will try to run the ball more and game plan around McDermott's trickery that they showed in the first game, but what if we get fancy with Milano and TB? Show like TB is the spy, but then send him on a delayed blitz and have Milano be the true spy, or shake up the coverage. I don't know, we haven't gotten to see them together, but I can't wait for these guys to wreak havoc together. If this defense is healthy come playoffs, they are going to make for some fun games!!!! Please, injury gods, give this team a break and let this be our season!!!
I 100% agree with Nate about the depth on this team. He stated this to point out the defensive depth but the offense has it too. Look at the job at RT vs KC. I’m confident in 5 WRs being able to make plays. Zach Davidson is a very good TE. We have practice squad guys that I’m concerned about losing because they should be on an active roster (Davidson, Eil Ankou, Daquan Hardy, etc). I really want to see Lewis Cine ‘cause he was very good at Georgia and you don’t get drafted in the 1st round at Safety unless someone thinks you’re really special. I was concerned about CB depth but JaMarcus Ingram and Kiiar Elam could be starting and may be very good. The development has been outstanding for years and now the depth is the best I’ve seen in my lifetime! I’ve followed the Bills closely since 1985.
Josh is a wild Stallion and they turned him into a show pony, that last td run is who he is to stop him from being that because your worried about turnovers is an injustice to him and all football fans
That’s is a great point you guys are making. 8 yrs under the same regime has allowed us to draft and develop the right caliber of players. Anyone that wants to get rid of McDermott is just plain dumb and should go be a Dallas or jets fan.
Allen taking the easy throws and check downs this year is very noticeable and guys and great at getting yac. Usually Allen always ignored to easy routes
I was thinking it and then Joe said it. I think the dime package changes with Milano backin that you see more 3 lineman, whether it's a 3 man rush with a spy or maybe blitz LBs/DBs and keep the offense guessing which one. Could do that with nickel too, 3 DL 3 LBs and show some exotic looks
YO JOE! I know it’s not likely, but if KC lost to Carolina and NE beats Miami, we could lock up the East AND be first in the AFC by beating SF. Can’t wait to see how quickly we can lock this season up!!!
He just said Josh wasn't mature enough to be good in the red zone. It's like nobody remembers that just 2 years ago Josh had never thrown an interception in the red zone. It was only after the pundits started to notice we didn't get YAC or run screens etc that we got what this guy is complaining about. What needs to happen is for fans to ignore those pundits that offer advice that stinks.
As normal, I have a different take on the yards after catch discussion. Yes, it is good to have those kinds of routes in the repitrior. The same for screens. However, a 4 yard pass with 4 yards after catch is a pass with 50% YAC. But it's still only an 8 yard play. A 12 yard pass with 0 yards after catch is a pass with 0% YAC but it's a 12 yard play. All things being equal a 12 yard plays are better than 8 yard plays. The question comes down to are all things equal? It's nice to see that lately thier tiny passes are getting some yards and if they continue to get some yards frequently it's OK. Traditionally though if this offense threw the 12 yard pass they connected at least 50% of the time. That turns into a lot of 1st downs every three plays. A 50% rate of 8 yard plays is a lot less first downs. In addition when the offensive line doesn't dominate the defensive line Josh is much more likely to be Josh and get those bigger plays. It's definitely a waste to run the tiny pass.
Great discussion. Thanks. One thing I'd like to see Allen do less is the 3-4 down tush pushes. He's too valuable for these types of plays that get people banged up. Get a 350 lb guy like a Fridge Perry to do that.
I have no expectations for Milano. He's suffered 2 injuries in the last year just by tackling a bag. Dorian Williams and our defense is playing good. I'd work Milano in at a limited role and go from there. If he can give us a good couple months I'll take it, but I think Milano is just about done as a top player
A more efficient Josh means fewer interceptions and lost fumbles but also fewer touchdown passes and rushing touchdowns. Unless he increases his numbers in the final six games remaining in the regular season he probably will finish this year with less than 40 total TDs.
Joe is so the man! Best Bills analyst on the air and its not even close. I think you need to start putting a time restriction on answers to questions, Joe. Thank you very much sir!
Believe it or not , come playoff time … I fear the dolphins the most … they are going to make a run for the playoffs …. And will be the hottest team going into playoffs …Tua will be MVP in the NFL
I think the success of the offense has more to do with Josh making better decesions and getting better as a player than it has to do with Bradys playcalling and shemes. The offense is to predictable in my opinion. I wouldnt be upset if he got a headcoaching job this offseason.
He should be fine with this being a biceps injury because that allowed him to still do leg strengthening and cardio shit. He wasn't fully ready on his lower body to start TC, so it was probably a blessing in disguise, but he should be 💯 in that regard by now.
Well for Alan to become a great quarterback... He has to get the ball out his hands quicker... And he struggles with doing that screenpass... When it's just a easy target for most quarterbacks... Reasoning is because Josh Allen long throwing motion
That’s is a great point you guys are making. 8 yrs under the same regime has allowed us to draft and develop the right caliber of players. Anyone that wants to get rid of McDermott is just plain dumb and should go be a Dallas or jets fan.

Josh Allen: poetry in motion
Not very atheletic
His off target % is still way to high
He is not an accurate passer…. But most times it’s because of his throwing posture … and just flicking the ball ….
I don’t agree with Nate on much, but I still appreciate him as a guest. Great show Joe, thanks.
Nate is going to grow up to be as bad as John wawrow He still has time to get more annoying
A tip of the hat to Joe for listening intently while letting Nate talk and digress and not read the room well enough to talk some more.
Every take he had was 100 percent correct
A 40 minute video from Joe? Um hell yeah
Unfortunately it's because Nate has a really bad habit of monologuing. I couldn't make it through it.

Well said, and the fact that McD is being more aggressive which is what the Bills need, especially against KC.
Great show (as usual) Joe!
Shakir has been a god send.
Thanks for the great content as always Joe!
Good morning Joe !!!
Josh just seems to be much more comfortable in his own skin. Maturity on the field, a happy home life, he's living life large. This is our year !Go Bills !!
#burythe49ers !!! 💯🤟😎
Josh for MVP
Don’t care about MVP status…. Most of the time MVP don’t win SB same year ….or don’t even make it .
Great episode
Thanks for bringing on Nate. How about the Bruce Exclusive?

Love the show Joe really do go bills
Morning, Joe -with a morning cup-o-Joe!
Nates got a lot to say, huh
You definitely need to have more guests on to discuss the Bills. It’s great content!❤❤

Good Morning Joe and Nate
If Matt Milano can come close to what he was, I feel hopeful going into the playoffs, if not confident. Lotta games to be played
Shakir is a MUST extension esp with Coleman on rookie deal
Can’t wait to see Milano back in action. Hopefully he can knock the rust off fast and get back to form.

what's new with Josh Allen ??? No DIVA DIGGS... THis is the year Mafia Family !!! LMFG BUFFALO !!!
🔥🔥🔥💯Go Bills 👍🏿

I’m dying one cannot listen to Nate Geary. It’s absolutely impossible to get through this episode.

Where was that tweet that said "The NFL is going to regret letting the Bills draft Khali Shakir" tweet

Josh Allenm.has that Hollywood kitty .got in top shape .and tweaked his throwing mechanics ..he also has a solid ..pocket presence .now
rest up boys
gotta get the W against SF @ home
big game
Great bye week conversation. Not sure Joe agrees with Nate's Casey Toohill comments 😂 but we're allowed to disagree
Great discussion. Thanks. One thing I'd like to see Allen do less is the 3-4 down tush pushes. He's too valuable for these types of plays that get people banged up. Get a 350 lb guy like a Fridge Perry to do that.
THE BILLS HAVE AS COMPLETE A TEAM AS JOSH AND MCDERMOTT HAVE EVER HAD. IMHO
I have no expectations for Milano. He's suffered 2 injuries in the last year just by tackling a bag. Dorian Williams and our defense is playing good. I'd work Milano in at a limited role and go from there. If he can give us a good couple months I'll take it, but I think Milano is just about done as a top player
Josh is going to his home state. Should be interesting.
A more efficient Josh means fewer interceptions and lost fumbles but also fewer touchdown passes and rushing touchdowns. Unless he increases his numbers in the final six games remaining in the regular season he probably will finish this year with less than 40 total TDs.
Calling Nico Collins a "top 2 or 3 WR" is irresponsible. He's great, but not top 5
Imagine year two Josh Allen in this offense….
If Brady gets poached for a head coaching position and the Giants continue their downward spiral, would they consider bringing Dabol back as the OC?
Drosey wanted YAC on 15 yard crossers which is damn near impossible.
Josh became Tom Brady mixed with Emmy smith
I went to Frontier high school with Nate. Great dude.
You're the best, Joe. Great episode 👌🏻
If you were Brandon Beane, would u draft a WR with our first or one of our 2 seconds next year or neither
Joe, why are you drinking from a baby bottle in this video? 😂
Joe is so the man! Best Bills analyst on the air and its not even close. I think you need to start putting a time restriction on answers to questions, Joe. Thank you very much sir!
Remember last season when cj stroud had himself on the top5 and not josh??
Well if he becomes a head coach daboll could come back
Believe it or not , come playoff time … I fear the dolphins the most … they are going to make a run for the playoffs …. And will be the hottest team going into playoffs …Tua will be MVP in the NFL

not sure if Milano will ever be the same with a leg injury that is still bothering him this long. . Hopefully
He should be fine with this being a biceps injury because that allowed him to still do leg strengthening and cardio shit. He wasn't fully ready on his lower body to start TC, so it was probably a blessing in disguise, but he should be 💯 in that regard by now.
So can't get Over Joe being a backstabber on the last episode
I had no idea Geary was this insightful -and articulate! Great show!
Like Nate, but you can tell he does radio. Talks WAY too long.
Bills have had the worst rac for all of Josh’s career. Now we are like 5th.
Well for Alan to become a great quarterback... He has to get the ball out his hands quicker... And he struggles with doing that screenpass... When it's just a easy target for most quarterbacks... Reasoning is because Josh Allen long throwing motion
I'd give Shakir a contact for 10 year, 150 million and be very happy about it. I love that dude.
Don’t ever have this guy on again!! He’s super hard to listen too!! 😂
This guy Nate ain’t it. Greg Tompsett was amazing.
Just bring back Daboll if Brady leaves.
That’s is a great point you guys are making. 8 yrs under the same regime has allowed us to draft and develop the right caliber of players. Anyone that wants to get rid of McDermott is just plain dumb and should go be a Dallas or jets fan.
