Alex Bregman - Houston Astros 3B | 2017 World Series Champion | 2018 All-Star MVP
Favorite hitters to watch for me
1. Mike Trout
2. Juan Soto
3. Fernando Tatis Jr
4. Freddie Freeman
5. Vlad Guerrero Jr
Marc! No Jabari Blash?
Future Yankee Freddie Freeman
@@A.B.421 NO FUTURE DODGER
Acuna??
Right NOW its Tyler Oneill without a doubt. Dudes a beast and could potentially break the season HR record.
I loved watching this. There’s too much animosity in baseball these days and seeing you give love to guys you recognize as great hitters is the way it should be.
1. 2019 Breggy
2. Post season Correa
3. Altuve when we play the Yankees
4. ALCS Yordan
5. Yuli anytime we need a sac fly
🤣🤣
6. Ted - Best Hitter in MLB, 2nd half of the season.
you forgot 2017 world series springer
You forgot 2017 trashbangers
They all did so well against the Braves 🤣 😂
I love watching Michael Brantley hit. Even if he gets out he has still had a good at bat.
I love to watch you when you are not playing my team
Agreed. One of the purest hitters I've ever seen
@@glenhelmuth738 you like to watch the guy who commented this....? That’s creepy dude
Brantley is legit a God against righties.
Yes!! Can’t believe I forgot to add uncle mike in my comment! Love watching him hit!!
1. Ronald Acuña Jr
2. Fernando Tatis Jr
3. Mike Trout
4. Jose Altuve
5. Freddie Freeman
It's like people are blind to Acuna but he is hands down the best.
Soto over Altuve.
Bro thank you….I went on little rampage commenting on everyone’s list that didn’t have acuna
Acuna is the most overrated player
Great list Breggy. This is what I got
1. Mike Trout
2. Juan Soto
3. Vlad Jr
4. Bryce Harper
5. Jose Altuve
It’s amazing to have this list and then also knowing guys like Yourself , Ohtani, Vladdy, Yordan, Judge, Betts, Harper aren’t on it , baseball is in good hands
Just because we have some good players doesn’t mean we’re in good hands. We are absolutely not in good hands. But yes, the talent in baseball right now is elite.
@@A.B.421 wow manfred sucks , super hot take bud
@@UncommonSense83 where is this coming from?
Yordan Alvarez isn’t on enough of these lists. One of the best pure hitters we’ve seen in a while
For real, he is the best hitter in baseball
Hi Alex, you are my favorite player in the league right now. You have inspired me to play as hard as I can every game. I just wanted to say thank you. I also love to watch shohei hit.
I would have to agree with Juan Soto at #1. The moment that did it for me was his 2-strike homer off Verlander in game 6 of the World Series. Took a pitch that was 100mph, painted on the high inside corner, a solid 430ft to the 2nd deck in right field at Minute Maid. Not one at bat in baseball history impressed me more than that one
Did you see the Mike Trout video where guys were giving him all kinds of crazy tips cause they didn’t know it was Trout. So funny. Almost to 200,000 subs Breg, let’s goooo!
1-Yordan A
2-Altuve
3-Bregman
4-Kyle Ted Tucker
5-La Piña
🔥 top 5 and great explanations dude.
My top 5:
1.) Jose Altuve
2.) Alex Bregman
3.) Mike Trout
4.) Derek Jeter
5.) Bryce Harper
Great content Bregs, you’re the man!
No Alex Rodriguez?
If we are talking about current players here’s mine
1: Altuve
2: Trout
3: Bregman
4: Ohtani
5: YULI
🥱
Thanks for the cool video Alex! Here’s my personal list for todays game.
1.) Mike Trout
2.) Mookie Betts
3.) Juan Soto
4.) Jose Altuve
5.) Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
No Alex Rodriguez?
Mookie Betts 🤣
@@josecollado7960 this isn’t the best hitters in the league. This is everybody’s favorite hitters in the league.
@Matt Glass betts is still not better than soto.
Sotos offensive contributions are so ahead of everyone elses that the defensive upside from betts doesnt make up for it.
When you get a giy that gets on base 50% of the time, automatically that raises the winning probability of the team.
Is like Ohtani when trout was in the lineup. Imagine ohtani trout and soto on the same team.
They would win 100+games almost every yeat
Acuna better then all them
Love the video and the thorough explanation why on each player.
I like how you made it very clear that the lists are just your personal favorites to watch. I'd keep the same top two for my list, but then add in some of my personal favorites at 3,4,5.
1. Juan Soto
2. Mike Trout
3. Paul Goldschmidt
4. Vlad Guerrero jr.
5. Ketel Marte
505 Baby!! Put yourself and Yordan on that list Brother!! 😎💯💰💰
just a huge fan of how close your foot is to the lens. Love how normal the framing of that shot is
Great video!!
Was so happy with top two, especially as a Nats fan.
Great content.. keep up the good work man!
Corbin Martin's reaction to Fernando Tatis' contact at 3:32 is classic. He doesn't even need to turn around to know where that ball is going.
Soto has 1. insanely good judgment at the plate and 2. Has freakishly ability to make contact with ball given his upward swing path. If he didn’t, he would not rank as high as he would get eaten up by high fast balls. Instead he stays off high fast balls as shown by his stats.
Altuve has the best traditional swing. Insanely efficient bat path. Keeps hips square when front foot lands and doesn’t pull. How else can a 5’-6” guy dominate? Insanely good.
Breg… love your swing. Very traditional IMHO. Right there with Altuve. I’m a Boston fan but loved watching you guys last year.
I know this video is about batting, but I think Correa has the best arm. Love watching that guy throw.
Good list. You are a good hitter too, but your upper body looks tense pre-pitch. Do you subscribe to the less tense, faster twitch response theory of hitting?
5. Freeman
4. Trout
3. Altuve
2. Bregman
1. Guerrero, V.
I like all of these players because of work ethic. Not sucking up to Bregman, but I really enjoy watching his workouts and trying to be better everyday...love to show my son Breggy's vids so he can see how much work goes into being good.
My #1 could be mixed in my top 3...I like.power hitters such as Guerrero! But, I love my Stros' hitters just as much!
Great list!! So many guy r next level hitting that It’s difficult for me to make a top 5 but my 3 favs batters to watch hit r, besides u of course, (no particular order) Altuve, Tatis jr, & Acuna jr
Thanks for the info Alex. 👍 good to know what other professionals favorites are.
1. Altuve
2. Freeman
3. miggy (would’ve been 1 a couple years ago)
4. Tatis
5. Votto
Miggy isnt a top 100 hitter now
1. Bryce Harper
2. Ronald Acuna Jr.
3. Mike Trout
4. Giancarlo Stanton
5. Fernando Tatis Jr.
5. Air Yordan
4. Freddie Freeman
3. Vlad Jr
2. Fernando Tatis Jr
1. The Yankee Killer (Jose Altuve)
Current: Trout, Vlad Jr, Soto, Arozarena, and Ohtani.
Since 2005 (when I became a fan): Pujols, McCutchen, Trout, Beltre, Stanton
I love that you are giving others in your league their props ✊, make sure you add yourself on the top of that list though🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘❤️🔥💣
When they're healthy and playing to the level of their best seasons, I'll take three Angels -- Trout, Ohtani and Rendon. Add Soto and Tatis. An amazingly large and talented group to pick from in this era, including A.B.
Rendon has my favorite swing in baseball
1. Alex bregman
2. Alex bregman
3. Alex bregman
4. Alex bregman
5. Alex bregman
1- Juan Soro - future GOAT
2- JD Martinez - elite approach, has an ability to drive the ball whereever it is thrown
3- Bryce Harper - been following him since 2009 with his home run derby in the trop so he has always been must see TV.
4- Breggy - battles at bats
5- Michael Conforto - one of my favorite swings in baseball
Worth noting that 2019 breggy would totally be on this list (can you get back there? 😉)
5. Freeman
4. Soto
3. Bryce Harper
2. Trout
1. Tuve
I’m an Astros fan and I’m ngl you had a terrible season at the plate and these people saying that your a top 5 hitter are kissing your ass. I believe you can be a top 5 hitter.. MAKE IT HAPPEN THIS UPCOMING YEAR!
My top 5 hitters in baseball is
1.altuve
2. Bergman
3. Trout
4. Yuli
5. Yordon
Im Japanese and looking forward to seeing your fantastic plays😍😍😍😍😍
Great video 🤘🏽 dope hearing your thoughts
5. Alex Bregman
4. Carlos Correa
3. Bregman Alex
2. Jose Altuve
1. Alex Bregman
Can't really argue with this list, and seeing Soto tee off Chris Paddack feels really good. Soto has the best plate discipline as a young player that I've ever seen, and we can expect that he'll only get better.
💪🏼🤭💪🏼 boss I need to hit up a spring training game bro
I understand why he wasn't on your list but your boy Yordan has the most amazing swings. His hits look like missiles. I'm worried he might kill a pitcher someday. I'm encouraged that he is learning to go the other way. Lance Berkman figured how to adjust his stroke so, as a lefty hitter, he could pop flies into the Crawfords. If Yordan could learn to do that, he could be a 50-HR performer. Hope you stay healthy in 2022. If Carlos leaves, your bat will be needed.
So much scissoring in the MLB. Love it
Does tipping pitches come into consideration on this list?
What do you think about Alex Verdugo? I think he's a good contact hitter.
Are talking about current players only or all-time?
Great list goat. My favorite hitters are all Astros
