What a gem of a song. So perfectly constructed yet so unique, lyrically and musically, and so catchy. This one legitimately could and should have been a hit.
My husband and I on our first date (late 80's) saw "the Mekons" at the Cubby Bear in Chicago. He buys me cool Mekons Merch for special occasions. Ha, it's so awesome.

Yeah, me too, I'm having to pogo with walking sticks nowadays. What year is this '92? - '93? Whatever, I'm still following 'em, and the other associated groups, Men of Gwent, Triaboliques etc. They're still in top form. Peace from Yorkshire, V.
The Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas used to have positive expectation video poker (i.e. if you knew the correct strategy you would eventually win money,) and I always thought that when you got a royal flush they should play "Millionaire." Management disagreed.

Most underappreciated rock band ever.

@@jayham____fromgeorgia i'm listening to this in my headphones , sounds spot on :)
When I think of some of the garbage that makes it big, I just despair. It's utterly magnificent.
This is the band that started out with "Never Been in a Riot". Kinda sold out.

came out in 1993. The worst year for pop music. I don't even remember this being played.
The genre-defying Mekons

Sorry about that, see above for reply. Body has gone, Brain's not far behind. Peace.
Sally is gorgeous/hot in this video. Love that sound of decomposing guitars.

Ivanka's Theme
The song has a similar style to Blondie’s music.
Not really. Just a female singer and mid tempo. Blondie were much more mainstream sounding.
Wow, sounds so much like Blondie!
Blondie much popper and duller
A million who?
i really try to like them, but it don´t works.sorry, folks!
ho ho ho!guess what:there´s more between justin bieber and the mekons
Not for everyone, i suppose, but you should hear the live tracks..
It's okay. The Mekons will survive!
Pity. Now go back to your Foreigner LPs. Peace.
