I'm so impressed with persons who are able to stretch their relaxers for long periods. It's not for me, but I'm impressed 😅😂. You must be incredibly patient!
@@simplyzita Yes and I love how I can do my hair quicker. One “friend” of mine was so negative but I’m like I want to be able to wear my hair without hassle nor covering it up with a wig or weave all the time. She kept saying I’d regret it…
That's good you can add olive oil in your relaxer before applying. It doesn't work as well for me if I add in the oil in the relaxer because it weakens my relaxer and doesn't give me the texture I want like it does when I don't add the oil in. Your hair looks super good.
You that try using relaxer that comes with the oil so that you know the exact amount of oil you are using. Or just dont add oils in you relaxer if you like your result without the oil better. Thank you and best of luck dear
Use the affirm 5 in 1 reconstructor after using the neutralizing shampoo, it removes all traces of the relaxer and also you don’t need to wash your hair like five times to get the relaxer out , but if you want to that’s ok .
The best wat to apply a retouch is with the help of some one else. Somebody can work on the back while you work on the hair you can see on the front. The overall processing time is better and you get even results.
This is very helpful for relaxed queens. I will definitely share with those that need this in my circle. I like how you sectioned it in twists before applying relaxer. This olive is a good brand with no lye. I used it before I finally transitioned.
Beautiful hair 😍 😍 😍 😍 thank you for this video, im planning to relax my hair after exams end of June and I will be about 7months post too. I really needed this video❤
This was such a great video! Thank you for sharing. I'm thinking about relaxing my own hair for the first time but I'm not sure if it the results will be good. I've been getting my hair relaxed at salons for years, so do you think that relaxing my own hair from now on might cause me to have two different textures of hair?
Necessarily not if you know what you are doing. But honestly even when you know what you are doing , you can still end up with two texture😂. Try to time your process and be fast so that your hair all process at the same time. Good luck girl 💕 also if you think your stylist is doing a great job, why not continue with her.
Hello i have tried alot of products and diys. Some did work on my hair and some did not. My advice is build a regimen with products that works for you hair and i promise you will definitely see result.
The ends of my hair are thin and I can see through but looking up to my scalp, it's covered and isn't a see through. It's thick . So I'm thinking it's heated damage but I don't know what to do again
I feel you on this. I know its hard but the best solution to heat damage ends is to cut it. And depending on how long your hair is can make the whole process difficult and stressful. If its hard to cut your entire damage ends, try to trim gradually every three months and hopefully you will trim out the entire damaged ends.
Hi Zita. I was searching for how to relax my hair videos and I came across this video. Thank you for the video. It is very helpful and looks very simple to do. However I wanted to know if you washed the hair with the twist in the hair or do you take it out before washing. Thank you
This was a very lovely relaxer day video...I'm super impressed with your results..I also wanted to add that if you add an oil to your relaxer it will reduce the relaxer strength so most folks do that if they have really fine strands or are texlaxed ...I enjoyed watching your video and love your results.❤️
Hi butterfly if you use this exact brand it comes with an extra oil in the box so you don’t need to add more oil but if you buy another brand that does not have oil, maximum a table spoon of olive oil will do.
Hello Joanna so sorry its hard to tell but I started my hair journey in 2012 and by 2018 my hair was almost hip length. 2019 I decided to cut, cut and have been cutting. Now am growing it back. With hair growth we all have different growth rate. My advice is stick to what works for you and you will definitely see result
Did u totally wash everything off while in braid before losing the braid, pls help a Sister, my hair is over due, have left it for over a year now and am scared they would rip my hair off if I visit the saloon
Hi Precious i did started washing them while in braids but the braid unravel as soon as water touches them and i did unravel the rest of them because i needed to be sure i have rinse out all the relaxer from my hair. Hope this helps
Hello Aghedo, there are alot of product to help promote hair growth. Just bare in mind that one product will not do the job. Get your self a routine and wash your hair florist. Example, shampoo, conditioner, deep treatment, moisturizer and an oil for your scalp and your hair. Hope this helps❤️
Its actually really good. Have been using for 10+years. Just do your research to know which will be best for you hair and scalp between the lye and no lye and also which strength is best for you hair ( normal or extra strength). Hope this helps
Cause the combing process breaks my hair and i have noticed that each time i comb the relaxed always goes to my already relaxed hair, and i try to avoid that as much as possible
Hi i used 1 and a half just because i had a lot of growth. I usually use 1 pack when i have like four months growth. Goal is to apply the relaxer just on your new growth. Thanks so much for watching
Thank you. Yes you are not supposed to put it directly to your scalp when appling but it impossible to smooth the relaxer without it touching your scalp. But if you can apply and smooth the relaxing without touching you scalp then thumbs up for you
Thank you so much for posting this video. I followed your steps today to relax my hair, and my hair relaxed very well. Thank you!
My pleasure. Am so glad you like your result
I'm so impressed with persons who are able to stretch their relaxers for long periods. It's not for me, but I'm impressed 😅😂. You must be incredibly patient!
I know but i do have great result when i stretch my relaxer. Am hoping and praying to still have same this time👏🏽👏🏽
Everyone can't stretch their relaxers depending on your hair texture. My hair would've big chopped itself
it's such a dangerous chemical it's best to use it as little as possible
You are so beautiful!!! I have been watching relaxed hair videos all day because I really want to relax my hair after 9 years of being natural
Thanks so much. Did you finally relaxed your hair and hope the result was good♥️
