I used this layout with a fall pit in the middle on top of my forge area. Works great to trash screamers and it's close enough to my compound to waste some 7.62 ammo thru the sniper rifle
I use this style horde base mixed with a pit. But my first ring is about 50x 50 lol I use the cabin that has the forge in it then dig a pit to bedrock around it and that's where I start the first ring. A little big but looks cool I did it on ps4 before I switched to pc but this time I went bigger. I'll post a screen shot once I got something complete still trying to survive the night in your mod lol

I used to lock my keys in my car a lot also. My friend I have a solution for that. Get a car alarm or a keychain attach it to your keys (dugh....lol). And get used to locking and unlocking you car door with the keychain sensor. You should be able to find it online or any auto parts store. It’s cheap, easy to use and more importantly it saves so much time waiting for AAA to come unlock the door and it’s cheapper then paying a locksmith or tow truck company to show up. If I find a link I’ll send it to you friend. You can thank me later when locking your keys in the car is a thing of the past.
i love your builds, i play these games mostly for farming and building, but my problem is that it takes me months to build something, i decorate 1 room with everything i need and the rest of the base is empty. no good at decorating :/
I think you should not regret it because it’s a challenge and if recall you do like challenges and you choice to pick that spot because it’s a challenge

Regarding you freezing your ass off at the end, I've found if you're wet and in winter biome it takes forever to dry off, but if you change your clothes you dry much quicker. I may be wrong, I'm still new to the game, but would be interesting to hear yours or anyone else's thoughts on that.

I got a challenge for you if you agree to try it please say my name on the next episode you make the challenge is you should try to make a base that is like a triangle and is 200 blocks tall, 121 blocks deep, 165 by 163 blocks long, and with only 15 poles that is 3 by 3 blocks long, that is just for the middle of the base for all of your stuff, and try to make it to where it only holds storage and it’s one big room, and make a farm on top of the roof and then put glass a couple blocks above it and the only differences you can use is spikes and the only weapon is a bow and if you do have any questions about something just contact me and if you do except this challenge. I can’t what to see you finish it. I think it will be the biggest challenge you have done. I tried it and failed and I am trying it again but a want to see if you can do better. I got 10 zombies in my base and almost killed me. But there is a major flaw you have to do and that is to make easy access points for the zombie to get inside. So once they destroy the walls they can easily get to you and you will have to abandon it. But the walls can be 2 blocks thick I know this might sound like a lot but if you win this challenge you beat me and you also have to start over and fight the 49 day hord on vanilla. I think you can do it I believe you can. Please say my name on the next episode and tell me if you expect my challenge or decline it.
hey everybody so I have a question has anybody else run into the bug that reset the poi that you turned into to your base I been using a ranger house as my base for 100+ day then all of a sudden my game crashed and when I logged back in my based reset and I lost everything but I was just my base and no other poi I looted
alex burton md5 error.. X box right?? Afyer every crash before you go back into the game delete you system save data.. Only your system save data and not the cloud data.. Than when you log in the game will sync from the cloud and will load the previous save.. Sometimes you lose 5 or 10 minutes but its better than losing ypur whole base and supplies.. Hope this helps

the base does look cool with snow on it!
To save some concrete, maybe just upgrade from the inside, and plate the outside. Since more blocks are exposed from the outside.
