I’m so thankful for this content. The format feels genuine and respectful. Growing up biracial with parents who couldn’t do my hair felt like hell. I finally feel confident doing it with out paying over $100 to a stylist every time I needed help…. I’ve lost career opportunities many times because my hair was considered unprofessional (even after being styled 😅) and it used to sadden me. Taking an hour or more to work with my hair, and then having to monthly pay for expensive hair products just to walk in society sucks some days but I feel thankful to finally have come to a place of peace. Although commercials feature Afros and different textures more liberally, there are still social connotations that need to be worked on. Thanks again from Seattle for continuing! Love to see the younger generations being embraced so lovingly ❤

God this is the cutest thing I've ever seen. It's rare for dads to know how to do their girls' hair, and it's rare for non-black people to know how to do curly hair, AND it's really hard to find stylists for curly hair in Korea. This is such a fantastic combination, and a great opportunity for dad!

I really love it when people share curly hairstyling, for both kids and adults because I can learn and try different hairstyles. I’m blasian and it’s not easy for me to style my hair myself except for ponytail. My mom is the master of my hair back when I was young🤭Now she just helps with cutting so that my hair can stay untangle and healthy. This cute girl is so sweet and pretty. Thanks Rianna for the tips and hairstyles👏🏼💛

As a black woman that does not know how to to braid or do my hair, I understand your pain, dad. It's the reason I hated dolls as a kid, and played with my brother's toys instead.

They make dolls now whose hair comes pre-braided in a bunch of miniature braids, so clearly other kids also found braiding hard. It's not just you.

i find it so, so sweet that this father wanted to learn how to style his daughter's hair. both of my parents are adopted korean and my father still put no effort into helping me maintain healthy hair as a kid. koreans are often very traditional so our fathers may be cold and emotionally absent. this man has healed my inner child with his willingness to learn and obvious adoration for his gorgeous baby

As a kid my older sister always did my hair because both of my parents worked. I never had these type of memories with my parents, not even my mom. It makes me a little regretful.
