That was great fun and entertaining. Thanks. I only watch a few movies every year so this blows me away. The baseball playoff were stellar this year. I watched the movie The Holdovers recently. Superb. Also spent one hour a day watching Game of Thrones in Nov and Dec. I see the hype. A favorite TV series is Orphan Black. Well worth the time. Glad you have a book video coming.
The holiday work/family schedule set my video schedule back some, but I got the Book video filmed today. I'll try to get that edited in the next day or two. Hopefully I'll have it out by Friday at the latest! The Holdovers looked good to me too, I'll have to check that out! Never heard of Orphan Black, I'll have to look into that one at some point. My son and I watched Shin Godzilla last night. That was really, really not what we were expecting, but we liked it.
Baseball, books and movies.. did we just become best friends?! Also c’mon… you only watched five games of the most electric lineup in baseball?? (hello from a Phils fan. Sorry, phan*)
haha! Phillies looked great. Harper, Svhwarber, Turner, Marsh, Cave (former Twin!), Realmutto, Castellanos... yeah, they were fun to watch. If there was one team i wish i had watched more of, it would have been the Phillies. if there had been one team i wish i had watched less of, it would have been the disappointing Padres. Those guys squandered so much potential by refusing to play as a team. they were all out for personal glory. really disappointing to see in my #2 team.
@@gronskeibooks Yeah.. they really were a let down. I lived out in San Diego for a couple years, got to see a couple games at Petco Park. It’s a really beautiful stadium I had fun watching some Twins games last season! I hope that they can beat out the AL Central and get back into the postseason. Royce Lewis sure looked good
Never been to Petco, but I saw the '92 All Star game in Jack Murphy Stadium, the year after i watched my Twins win the World Series in the Metrodome. i was just a kid then, but those two events solidified baseball for me as core to my personality
Yes! Brilliant! Intricate! Very much rewards a second viewing. ACTUALLY, it compels a second viewing. Just beware of losing your footing that close to the edge of the void
You are not wrong about Gen Z vs Gen X humor. Insane difference.

"The Big Lebowski is my favorite movie." & "The Fifth Element is my favorite movie of the 90s. Period."
I contain multitudes
I agree with your comment on the "Life on Our Planet" narrative. The same writers may have done Netflix's "The Universe."
Totally dumbed-down.
I watched 1923 and I can't wait to see if they'll do another season.
Also, after thinking about it a lot, I think Asteroid City was the best new movie I saw.
i haven't seen either of those yet! Gotta add them to my list

So-o-o ... what was your final thought about "Tenet?"
Crap? Genius?
