I bought a GoPro HERO8 Black to record the whole route in "real-time" (no timelapse). I want to upload the videos on YouYube in 4 parts. Each part is 8 to 9 hours driving (I will stop the camera to rest and shake my legs every 3 to 4 hours). I will mount the camera inside my car on the official GoPro Mount. I want to do minimum effort after recording (no color grading, no lut, no music ....) as these files would be huge and rendering takes forever! For storage, I have two SanDisk Extreme Pro Micro SDXC UHS-I U3 A2 V30 Memory Card (256GB). For battery, I have two of them, a charger, and a 20500 mA power bank. Also, I have the easy option of connecting the GoPro directly to the cigarette lighter charger. With this introduction now my question is: What setting do you recommend on my GoPro for video recording of this long trip? P.s.: Please let me know if you have any advice. Best, Ehsan
as for your discussion at ~ 14:30, [60 fps or 120 fps] or [24/25/50/100/200]... I found that the Anti-flicker choice (50 or 60) switches the frame rates!!
Thanks for the video! I'll get my gopro hero8 on Tuesday. You helped me a lot, with the features of the camera. I think the control from phone is the best thing. The only thing I don't like about the gopro is no flip screen to look at while you record to see what is scuffle in the frame. But using the phone should solve most of that, thanks!

I downloaded the GoPro app, when through the step on change the name of the GoPro and it then gave me an error. I tried it a few times and end up deleted the GoPro app. I will reload and try again when I have a chance. Is there a different version of GoPro App? I have Samsung S6 phone. Thank you.
Hello, it should be the version from the Google playstore. You can also delete the network from your Bluetooth settings, inside your phones menu. Daniel

I was hitting the top Record button before hitting the On/ Off button and it worked until one ride where it did not capture the footage i wanted. Should I be turning it on from the side every time 1st? What could have happened that prevented me from filming even though the top light was flashing.
@@the_daniel_life , I think you're right! I can only use up to a 64 gig sd card. Battery life is limited and I have no way to view the videos on the camera. But it still makes great videos up to 4k.
you had my go pro under your spell for a few seconds. Im setting it up and your issuing voice commands and im fumbling around trying to turn it off ..lol. But that gives me an idea. Why not let you program my phone with voice commands
