She is absolutely beautiful!! I know that feeling you described. Our 2nd son was stillborn. With our 4th, his heart decelerated fast at 24 hours into labor. The moved my blanket and my whole bed was so much red blood everywhere coming out of me. My husband who never gets flustered, had this look of fear and shock like I've never seen. They just sounded an alarm thing and everyone was pulling tubes, and getting me ready to run my bed to the OR. I had a severe placental abruption, and they would lose both of us if they weren't fast. That child is graduating high school with High Honors next week. Someday you'll be telling Thora this story and how you went through that for a wonderful ending together. ❤❤
People don't realize unless they experience it, how trauma forms parts of you and stays even 18 yrs later when all is okay. ❤❤

Cameron, you found your cross, and you said a pray to the Lord and I believe the Lord heard your prayer and intervened. I almost died of a cut corona mortis artery during a day surgery three months ago, and on my way to interventional radiology., my anesthesiologist prayed for me. I believe the Lord showed up that day as well. I believe in the power of prayer and I’m so happy that you are home with your precious baby girl and I’m so happy that Cameron is a believer. ❤❤❤
Thora is your precious, well earned “Pot of Gold” at the end of the rainbow. When her heart rate dropped during labor, I’m sure that all you could think was, “not again!” after what you went through with Kaia. I’m very happy that all ended beautifully, just the way it was supposed to end. I must say that Kameron’s and your faces radiate your happiness with your baby girl!❤️

My daughter had decelerations during labor with my grandson. She ended up having to have a c-section , but baby was a healthy 8 lb 6 oz little boy. I am happy you did not have to have surgery, and that baby Thora is here safe and sound. My first daughter was a preemie, and I still remember the challenges we dealt with. When my second daughter was born full term I remember thinking " so this is what birth should be like." You both look wonderful and Thora is beautiful. I am so very happy for you!!! ❤❤❤
She's beautiful!! Congratulations. My oldest was born with a full head of dark hair. By 4 months old, it all fell out and grew in much lighter. He was never a blonde, but he is 24 now and his hairnever got as dark as when he was born. Enjoy your babies. ❤

That crowd of people around your bed was the "crash team". I know that because I had one. It is daunting. My daughter was snatched out with what I call "fire irons". A women came running in and I saw that evil looking tool in her hand. I haemorrhaged immediately after giving birth, keeping the crash team busy for a long time. It's surprising how many births end up like that. Nobody talks about it. I thought it was the end for me. Listening to you speak of your terrifying moments was almost cathartic. I can finally let go of that awful tension.
Thora is beautiful. I love her hair colour. She and light blonde Kieron will cause many "are they both yours?" questions 😅.
It is lovely to see the return of the old names. I knew a few elderly Thora grandmothers as a child. Now, these great names will replace the Brittneys and Taylors which have flooded the world. I'm just so happy for you both. After such traumatic 1st and 2nd births, you richly deserved this version.

I had my first at 31+1 and they 2nd at 36. First one spent 59 days in the nicu and I went home in less than 48 hours with my second. Jarring is the perfect description of the feelings. Congratulations she’s adorable

I cried when you cried…expressing the fear of her heart rate dip…that would have put me into a panic attack.
I’ve never birthed any of my 3 babies on my back. It was just too uncomfortable for me.
I had my first sitting on a birth stool, my second on my hands and knees on the hospital bed…and my 3rd laying on my side holding my leg up with my hand on my ankle.
You probably could have delivered her on your hands and knees…though that would probably be tricky with an epidural… 🤔

Oh my goodness! I felt like you were telling my first two birth stories! My first was very similar except I really had no idea that my baby was in distress. My mom and my doctor didn't tell me just how critical everything was. With my second, they didn't wait to see if she would recover, I was rushed into the OR for the emergency C-section. That is when my doctor told me that any future children would have to be scheduled C-section. I now have 4 daughters

My daughter was a stinker with decelerations too, but my nurses didn't press the buzzer. They got me on my side real quick and got her numbers up, and then we discussed the decelerations and what they were doing. They wanted me to push her out quickly and it went just like yours😛 Its so crazy seeing your 2 little cuties together! I really can't believe it! She's here and so perfect. You guys are tired, but doing fabulous! Enjoy❤

Can fully relate to the fear leaving & the too good to be true feelings. I went through 3 years of infertility and finally got pregnant with boy/girl twins. I was scared the whole pregnancy that something bad was going to happen and didn't really allow myself to bond until after they reached viability. The planned C-section went smoothly, they were 2 weeks early but, according to my doctor, for twins that might as well be full term, AND they were both healthy enough & ready to come home before I was (the too good to be true parts). I had to stay in the hospital 1 more day since I had had surgery and needed more time to recover. A boy and a girl at the same time, absolutely TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!! I could finally relax and stop fearing something was going to go wrong too. Congratulations now YOU BOTH have a BOY & a GIRL ❤❤.

When I was in early labour, my son’s heartbeat went down as well! I ended up having a,
C-Section but I gave birth to a healthy 5 pound 8 1/2 ounce baby boy! He was 19 1/2 inches long! He’s our “miracle boy” ❤️

They doped me up. i kept saying, "Why is she not crying? The 3rd time saying that, i heard what sounded like a newborn kitten meow. THANK GOD, WE GOT HER BACK! SHE JUST TURNED 24 YEARS OLD❤❤❤it looked like a whole football team ran in the room

My daughter scared us too during labor and she is the most energetic and amazing little girl she also dissented during labor and we lost her on the monitors and that button that they pressed scared me and everyone was running into our room and it was so scary. her name is Riley and oh how this name describes her well lol❤ congratulations on your beautiful family ❤🎉
