Beautiful quilts! Thanks for taking the time to put this video together to share them with us. Some are unimaginable for me to grasp that they are actually made out of fabric!
Those quilts at the end were magnificent they were breathtaking. I wonder who will end up with them in 50 years. Quilting is getting more and more popular with the younger generation.
I can highly recommend going to an original sewing and quilt expo if one is in your area. It’s like Disney for quilters; I went to one in May and had a blast!
I saw when you named your sticker fun-gi, At the time I was thinking Joe, as in sew-Joe, sewing with Joe, always having your back, keeping an eye on your (Bubba) machine, always having your sew-Joe with you. Also Reminding you to have a cuppa Joe or stay hydrated. Or the Bubba-Joe combo, sorta like Bubba- Gump shrimp? Good times with Bubba and fun-gi, or Joe or whatever stays with you. All the best. I see an english presenter named Emma Jones Vintage sewing box, sometimes in yt. She embroiders on hexagons, small and large, she has so many beautiful things designed and made, sells patterns etc. You can put strategic 1/6th size triangles on 2 of the sides of your hexies, to get straight seams to sew up. It's not always quite so complicated. Tiffany did a hand-sewn squares quilt too, though it was never again... who knows. Larger hexies can be embroidered fabric or a mix of smaller shapes, I find Sue Daley's ideas fascinating. Hand-sewing relaxes me. Have fun.
Do you think this is just for hobbyists or do you think it's worth it for business owners to still spend their time visiting? I looked at videos, and it didn't look like they had the $5,000+ machinery that I'm looking to see.
Hahaha! Well, I spent about $80 on patterns from EZ Piecing, $25 at Erin’s booth, and $130 on my thimble. Total spent $235. I definitely stayed in my $250 budget!

Hi Becca. I bought 3 patterns from EZ Piecing and took her class. Loved their products. Good meeting you at last.
It was nice meeting you, too!
Hand needle turn appliqué is nice.
I think so too!

Wow! I'm headed to Herndon next week for work. Wish this would've coincided.

Oh I love the new graphics!

I go to the Quilt Expo in Cleveland Ohio each year
Each show has different quilt. In the spring there were quilts made by the representatives of Handi quilter

It’s an art show using fabric as the medium instead of paint.
Yes!
