Wow, It is a beautiful boat. It has everything that you will need to have a great day on the water for a day. Or overnight stay over the weekend. Perfect for a family with kids and friends. The best thing with a trailer. You can take this boat anywhere that you want to go.
I'm back, Thank you Travis for showing us this regal 28 Express. I have been Boating for years.😊 My first boat was a 1972 Mark Twain with a 165hp. I'm going to put this regal 28 Express on my wish list for Christmas.
This is one of the best reviews I have seen of the Regal 28 Express. I own a 2018 28 Express and it is a nice cruiser. They are getting very expensive as are all newer boats.
These boats are not designed for people who actually cook rather than microwave. I like that it's single screw though, perfect for inland rivers making it cheaper to maintain and own.
Would you need a slip for this kind of boat? Getting slips where I am from is difficult and I am currently on a mooring waitlist. Just trying to understand what kind of maintenance this boat will need since it has a lot of accessories.
It does not necessarily need to be in a slip. The beam on this is 8'6", so it is road legal. Now some people are not comfortable towing it since it is big but it is easy!
very easy access to the engine ....yeah,if you're a 3 foot hobbit with double jointed and articulated limbs. Who are you kidding, your head barely fits in the hole . And my 30 year old 268 has all the same stuff minus 400k price
Really?? BS! What 28' express cruiser does Wellcraft have? The answer is they don't. They have a bunch of center console fishing boats and their cruiser line starts at 35' and $600K. If you're really looking for a center console then you aren't in Regal's market.
My first boat was a 19SSI Chapparal. Last year I upgraded to a 2020 Regal 28 Express after trying to find the best 30 footish cruiser and I could not be happier. Fantastic first season with a fantastic boat and plan to have her (Pier Pressure) for many more seasons.@@richardjohnson8114
Yes many manufacturers got out of the express cruiser market opting for center consoles and bowriders and bowrider/cuddy hybrids. After a few years folks will get tired of get cold and wet and express cruisers may make comeback - who knows? One thing is for all boats now are super expensive. I think the msrp on this Regal is $269,000
@@markdimaio8396 that's crazy. A ranger tug 25 is about the same price with much more comfort. I know it's a different class of boat but still. This thing should be 200k max

I love that the galley has room for 6 cans of spaghettio's

Finally got rid of the 1920's interior carpet-FINALLY!

Wish you would add a basic price point for the boat as shown.
imagine cooking in that galley and oil splatter all over the nice white cushions.
A lot of people avoid cooking inside because the smell can get into all the fabrics. They opt instead to use a grill outside.

Needs a single bravo 2 stern drive with a 5.9 Cummins engine
It should be available with outbound options.
Very nice
It's nice. But,I definitely prefer traditional gauges at the helm

Always ask for mercury 5.9 Cummins with bravo 2 single prop
