Update: I got in! I don't know if Facebook just happened to be glitchy when I was trying, but I had no loop, no emails, no way of getting into the loop or anything. I just had a simple locked out screen with a settings cog to log out and the hints to get back in were unhelpful. However, after 10 days of seeing this screen, I finally got options when I loaded it up again. I took no chances, I had my VPN ready, validated my ID (twice, the first time it glitched out) and was in. It took so long to get to that moment, I thought I was dreaming! But thank you so much for this video, I don't know for sure if the VPN saved me, but I used it without trying another way and it worked :)

I tried by putting off my WiFi and I used mobile data and downloaded Firefox ,though it gave me access to enter the password which Facebook sent to me and it told me my account has been unlocked yet it is still locked, please what am I not getting right?
I don’t know about any other VPNs. Just the one I used. They give you a free 30-day trial so you can always cancel it after before the 30 day s expire after you try to get your account back.

The reason I ask is I have been stuck in a loop of completing the basic login process and entering the code from my phone and have not been given the opportunity to prove my identity by sending a picture of my ID. @@flametube7153 Yes, but none of these tips worked for me. I never even got an opportunity to send a message to Facebook about my situation, let alone a response asking for a picture of my ID. Here's what I did. I paid the $15 to get Meta Verified, which supposedly gets you the right to some actual customer service. You do that through Instagram. Then I reached out to support through Meta and wrote a message everything I had tried to that point. 2 or 3 days later, I tried logging into my FB account and up it popped. Magically fixed. I a few days later I canceled my Meta Verified subscription and I've been good to go ever since. Although I will never select "Secure My Account" again. That is what put me in lockdown. "Secure" = "Lose" in the FB lexicon. I have no idea whether the Meta Verified thing is what did it. But at the same time, I had a colleague who had the same problem, except she had lost her account for over 8 months. She tried the Meta Verified method and had her account back within two days. Good luck! I feel your pain.

Copied and pasted the email link to reset account in Chrome, which had failed several times and a couple of emails using my usual Firefox browser, and it immediately asked me to choose a new password and was able to immediately get into the account. I refuse to send FB my government ID(s), but have be denied with all of the other options. I finally got back in without the VPN trick! In short I had to get a live person on their virtual agent chat. They still guided me to the selfie option, but the devil was in the details. There is one part of the instructions that says your hand must be visible in the selfie. It was in some of my attempts, but after they stressed it I made sure my hand was 100% prominent in my last attempt... Not just some fingers. It worked! Not sure if it was just the picture or my insistence with the live person on chat. Also to get a live person is not easy. They'll give you 2 options selfie or something else. Choose something else then go from there. Hope this helps someone.

How did you even get a hold of facebook to try and verify your account? I somehow managed to somewhat rescue my account by blocking the my old email and the email they had attached to my page but it also erased my phone number. I was able to input a new email address but when it came to getting a code to change my password it keeps telling me that the code I input is incorrect even though its facebook sending it.

Logging in from France is what helped me regain access to my account.. You need two ways to login.. have your cell phone available and you home computer available at the same time. I was able to gain access thru my cellphone and then (on my cellphone) go into settings and turn off the 2nd form of security and then was able to login to my fb on the home computer. Be sure to then reset all forms of passcodes and be sure to set a 2nd security.
My account was hacked by a foreign user and a foreign language showed up in the login. However, that got fixed. I did change my password. But when I see getting a code sent to my phone the hackers phone still shows and I don't get a code. No logins in my account. Is my account still hacked? Thanks, JayJay!

I changed the password and it still brings me back to account recovery after successfully changing password. Am I doing something wrong. It always loops back into the 2 way authenticator although i've just done it using account recovery. Its broken. done it several times and used VPN and firefox. Still not working. Facebook support doesn't get back to me either. I must be doing something wrong.

I had my account stolen 2 days ago, I was trying everything like mad, after 30 times trying from my ID to my Passport they finaly recognized me and send me this recovery link and password that don't work, I've tried the vpn thing but also with no result ... I had such high hopes for this to work but unfortunately, it's not working for me. We already use Express VPN and tried logging in to Facebook from 3 different locations (France, Italy, and Germany) with no luck. Facebook did ask me to upload my iD once but it returned me to the locked page but this time, the message at the bottom of the page says "Try coming back on a phone or computer you’ve used to log into Facebook before." Hi Angela! Consider creating a brand new email that you've never used before then try again and maybe uninstall and install a new Express VPN from a new account. Not one you have used previously. Per my video, there is something about the way you have logged in before that is blocking you. YOu have to try all New everything to break that block. Good luck!
try to do the full operation from same browser you used before + under France VPN. this just worked for me (I did try many other solutions) but the key I think you need to send ID from France VPN so the link you receive will work for you, don't give up you can do it (I tried 4 laptops / proxies... at the end my usual laptop & browser + france VPN did it). thanks @jayjayGhatt
My issue is when I use the VPN it will only give me the option to confirm using an old phone number that I no longer have. When I don’t use the VPN it gives me other option which is my email. VPN doesn’t give me the email option

The only reason it wouldn't work is because there is something about your login that is connected to the point of you being locked out: your browser, IP address, location etc. You have to mask all of those things. So it is seeing you in the space and time of lock out. That's why I suggest gettig a VPN to mask your locale,

Im at my breaking point with this... I keep getting put in a loop, it says account locked, I hit next, I dont remove my emails/phone number then it either errors or goes back to the account locked page and I start all over... I have done this probably 1000x now from multiple browsers/phone/tablet/vpn nothing seems to work.

I don't know what is going on. Try to right click and copy the link and open it in an incognito browser. It works for me and I've asked a few people to test if it works.

The problem for me is that when I went to log in it said my account was locked and didn't give me an option to recover it. It only suggested that I log in from a device I used before (which I don't have access to anymore).

You probably need to create a brand new gmail account never ever before used on Facebook then resubmit your information and indicate the new gmail then try all the steps again. It’s possible the system blocked the email address you use as well.

I’m still locked out as the hacker set up a two step authentication… therefore I get a code to a ‘new’ email but then a further code that should get to my phone just ends up in the abyss. The hacker changed one digit of my phone number. The current solution I am trying is emailing fb security 6/7 times a day with a brief explanation, a copy of id. I ask them to turn off two step authentication…. No response yet

Hey lily, may I ask a question? When you used the VPN and it worked, were you completing the basic login process or were you submitting your proof of ID. The reason I ask is I have been stuck in a loop of completing the basic login process and entering the code from my phone and have not been given the opportunity to prove my identity by sending a picture of my ID. Just wondering if the VPN solution works whether you’ve been asked for your ID or not.

@@flametube7153 Yes, but none of these tips worked for me. I never even got an opportunity to send a message to Facebook about my situation, let alone a response asking for a picture of my ID.
Here's what I did. I paid the $15 to get Meta Verified, which supposedly gets you the right to some actual customer service. You do that through Instagram. Then I reached out to support through Meta and wrote a message everything I had tried to that point. 2 or 3 days later, I tried logging into my FB account and up it popped. Magically fixed. I a few days later I canceled my Meta Verified subscription and I've been good to go ever since. Although I will never select "Secure My Account" again. That is what put me in lockdown. "Secure" = "Lose" in the FB lexicon.
I have no idea whether the Meta Verified thing is what did it. But at the same time, I had a colleague who had the same problem, except she had lost her account for over 8 months. She tried the Meta Verified method and had her account back within two days.

Thanks so much. Second solution worked. Copied and pasted the email link to reset account in Chrome, which had failed several times and a couple of emails using my usual Firefox browser, and it immediately asked me to choose a new password and was able to immediately get into the account. I finally got back in without the VPN trick! In short I had to get a live person on their virtual agent chat. They still guided me to the selfie option, but the devil was in the details. There is one part of the instructions that says your hand must be visible in the selfie. It was in some of my attempts, but after they stressed it I made sure my hand was 100% prominent in my last attempt... Not just some fingers. It worked! Not sure if it was just the picture or my insistence with the live person on chat. Also to get a live person is not easy. They'll give you 2 options selfie or something else. Choose something else then go from there. Hope this helps someone.

How did you even get a hold of facebook to try and verify your account? I somehow managed to somewhat rescue my account by blocking the my old email and the email they had attached to my page but it also erased my phone number. I was able to input a new email address but when it came to getting a code to change my password it keeps telling me that the code I input is incorrect even though its facebook sending it.

Managed to get it work using Express VPN link. Thank you. My next question is when can I stop using this VPN and use my own usual mobile data/wifi?
Connection is slow using France server.
Logging in from France is what helped me regain access to my account.. You need two ways to login.. have your cell phone available and you home computer available at the same time. I was able to gain access thru my cellphone and then (on my cellphone) go into settings and turn off the 2nd form of security and then was able to login to my fb on the home computer. Be sure to then reset all forms of passcodes and be sure to set a 2nd security.
My account was hacked by a foreign user and a foreign language showed up in the login. However, that got fixed. I did change my password. But when I see getting a code sent to my phone the hackers phone still shows and I don't get a code. No logins in my account. Is my account still hacked? Thanks, JayJay!

I changed the password and it still brings me back to account recovery after successfully changing password. Am I doing something wrong. It always loops back into the 2 way authenticator although i've just done it using account recovery. Its broken. done it several times and used VPN and firefox. Still not working. I had such high hopes for this to work but unfortunately, it's not working for me. We already use Express VPN and tried logging in to Facebook from 3 different locations (France, Italy, and Germany) with no luck. Facebook did ask me to upload my iD once but it returned me to the locked page but this time, the message at the bottom of the page says "Try coming back on a phone or computer you’ve used to log into Facebook before." Hi Angela! Consider creating a brand new email that you've never used before then try again and maybe uninstall and install a new Express VPN from a new account. Not one you have used previously. Per my video, there is something about the way you have logged in before that is blocking you. YOu have to try all New everything to break that block. Good luck!

try to do the full operation from same browser you used before + under France VPN. this just worked for me (I did try many other solutions) but the key I think you need to send ID from France VPN so the link you receive will work for you, don't give up you can do it (I tried 4 laptops / proxies... at the end my usual laptop & browser + france VPN did it). thanks @jayjayGhatt

The only reason it wouldn't work is because there is something about your login that is connected to the point of you being locked out: your browser, IP address, location etc. You have to mask all of those things. So it is seeing you in the space and time of lock out. That's why I suggest gettig a VPN to mask your locale,

My sister cant get code for facebook. How do i get facebook code

FB will send the code to the email listed in the application to reset the account.
I'm locked out - but I'm getting an error message when I go to upload my ID. Has anyone used these tricks with this error? It feels similar in that I'm stuck in a loop. Thank you.
What error message? Try to update your FB mobile app or uninstall and reinstall it.
Tried turning off wifi, tried edge, tried vpn. Doesn't work. I live in Belgium. Tried France, Singapore, Netherlands... normally I get another option to upload my ID, but got the loop. When I try your option I get message your device is not recognized try mail or password (Doesn't work cause they changed that 😢)
You have to create a new email address never used on Gmail before then submit your ID via that email.
@@JayJayGhatt not able to give them my new mail adress, because that is where I get the loop...
I get to the point "upload your ID", when I click that it sends me back to where I started 😢
@@Stephanie.moreels there is a FB website where you say you’ve been locked out. That is where you put in the NEW email you created NOT your old email
I got locked out so many times so i made a new one
I just did the express vnp and there’s no luck there either how long did it take seems like I’m hitting nothing but dead ends i just want to stop the hacker from using my account i don’t even care if i get it all back why is this so hard
My question is did you get an email or message from Facebook asking you to submit your iD to confirm you own the account?
Also, did you create a brand new email account that you have never used before and that is not connected to any Instagram or Facebook account?
I’m if not, go do that and if this works, you’re gonna need to smash that Superthanks button lol

Hi Jay Jay , yet to try the VPN route but just wondering how to choose a different email for codes as it seems to only work if you find an email that's connected to your account already? hacker has changed all emails bar the one that still connects me to my profile pic though does not allow me in, codes don't come and after identified with passport the unlock codes also a no go.... thank you in advance

Yes, thank you for taking the time to reply. I’m still locked out as the hacker set up a two step authentication… therefore I get a code to a ‘new’ email but then a further code that should get to my phone just ends up in the abyss.
The hacker changed one digit of my phone number.
The current solution I am trying is emailing fb security 6/7 times a day with a brief explanation, a copy of id.
I ask them to turn off two step authentication…. No response yet
Also some of the emails suggested no longer exist.
If anyone knows of an email address that does get a response that would be fab.
