They’re called Go As Local. Highly recommend them. Tell them I sent you their way :) www.getyourguide.com/shkoder-l2828/from-tirana-private-valbona-and-theth-multi-day-guided-trip-t409570/?partner_id=8ROPRH6&
Just came back from Valbona. We did 3 days + camping. Also May. Yes, very heavy, difficult and dangerous because of the snow. I thought the same as you.. one mistake and it's over. It was a beautiful hike! We also went with a guide. Otherwise it was too dangerous yes..
Thanks for making this video! I’m also planning to go next month but I’m not an experienced hiker. Do you think this is too dangerous for someone with not much experience? What would you say is a must to bring?
I was told that the summer path is easy to do as long as there’s no snow. So make sure to check this. Otherwise, the path could be really dangerous. I had a guide with me when I did it but that was only because it was mid-May so still plenty of snow around. Apart from walking sticks and good pair of hiking shoes, I don’t think you need to bring anything else. There’s water fountain midway through the hike and there’s also a cafe towards the end as you can see in the video. Enjoy the hike. It’s one of the most beautiful places on earth :)
Hi, can you share the contact guide? Im solo traveller and planning to hike end of this month

@@RyanPelle okay thanks for the info! Did you travel with your walking sticks or you bought them there?
@@NotThatDutch they were provided by our guide. Mainly coz of the snow. I don’t think you need them if the path is clear of snow.
Murag Palawan noh?
Mura bitaw noh :)
What’s the exact location of this blue water ? 4.00 minutes VALbona
Sadly, I don’t know. Our guide just took us there but it wasn’t too far away from the main road.
