I thought it was incredibly sweet. I like to imagine Roxy, while begrudgingly having to rely on one of the others, was happy that they cared for her enough to help her.

Honestly, it doesn't even have to be evil. Freddy could just be demanding an explanation or expecting you to apologize to them. The whole mind control deal with them could be explained. That could lead into you gradually getting to know them and putting them back together, happy ending achieved!

I don't see anyone mentioning this so I wanna put this out there: in one of the endings Freddy set fire to the whole pizzeria which would have all of his friends in it so it is likely he will understand it was for the greater good. I really wish we had the choice to hack into the other animatronics so that they were good like Freddy instead of decommissioning them but oh well. It must have been intentional for them to make Gregory guilty cause when you are trying to destroy Chica a broom gets stuck so he has to physically push her, which creates this moral argument

I kinda wish the game had an ending like this. Could probably have been a thing if Gregory had moral choices in the game and how he'd respond to certain dialogue. Surprisingly enough, in the true ending, Freddy do see them in their broken state. Funny how he doesn't react differently
Cause there is an even greater threat, Afton himself. Freddy knew Afton took over his friends and that he must not allow Afton to take him over too.
That's why although he knew what Gregory do, he also knew that it's for the better. Afton must be defeated at all cost.
And the fact that His real friends are bonnie, chica, foxy.... And Know what happened to them... He must protect Gregory so He wouldn't be like vanny.... AND... The fact he kinda know that vanny is taking control to The glamrocks except freddy.. He knows That Those arent his friends

I think it isn't in Freddy's personality to do this. He has a strong desire to protect Gregory,he wouldn't let his friends hurt him. If he do learnt the truth,he would get disappointed but wouldn't leave him alone.
And we can't really blame Gregory for hurting the animatronics since he is a child and he is being hunted by them. So for any child,it would be scary for them and they will only want them to be gone. It is same for anybody,if you were hunted by someone,would you have time to think about their well being

To be fair, they are robots with AI instead of souls/remnants and they can have there parts replaces in time. They had also tried to kill him out right with both roxy and chica bringing it upon themselves. Along with that their parts are used to try to stop the child abuctions and killings.

This reminds me a lot of the bad ending from the original Bioshock that you get as a consequence of harvesting too many Little Sisters. It would be interesting to give the player a choice to steal the robots' parts or hack them to remove Afton's brainwashing, and have different endings based on those choices.
Ok, we can't be so rough with Freddy, in fact he has a point, and he is right for being Mad, so, technically Gregory was responsible for his own destiny.
Even when said friends are hunting Gregory and technically helping a serial killer, I mean from from what I got from the worst ending where you straight up leave, with how many kids missing, they have a lot of blood on their robotic hands

I wish Freddy at least had some unique dialogue in the game when moving past one of his damaged friends, would make doing that sting a little more while showing more of how Freddy sees the matter, if he would let it go since he insists on protecting Gregory (plus you know, his friends could be repaired, unlike the child)

Ngl I don’t really see Freddy turning evil after finding out what Gregory did to his friends, sure he would be very disappointed and devastated but I can also see him understanding Gregory for his actions since he only destroyed the animatronics out of self defense, while on Chica’s death scene I can only think that the reason Gregory brutally murdered her is because of him being desperate for Chica to be gone, the same for the other animatronics as well but accidents just became the reason for their doom. Remember guys, animatronics can be repaired, a dead kid cannot

THIS should have been the normal ending. You chose the easy way out. You don't get a happy ending. You might get to run for your life and leave the pizzaria, but you destroyed 3 frankly innocent animatronics and left the place in shambles. Leaving more children to be abducted in the future. You don't just get away with hurting Freddy's friends like that by him calling you his superstar at the end. You didn't earn it.
I totally see parallels between Undertale and this. And it wouldn't be forced either. The setting and story make it perfect for a narrative like this. After all, it's "FIVE" Nights at Freddy's. Not "6 hours and change at Freddy's". Each night should have had different challenges with the end of each night giving you the choice to either flee home or stay and continue the mystery. And if you do stay, you can enjoy the place as it was meant to. Including a show from the gang. And the secret 6th night would be finding and fixing Bonnie. With the final end credits song being a performance from all 5 band members. Befriended, and lifted from the curse.
tbh, i do feel as though that may be a little harsh on Gregory, as he is only a kid (w/ out guardians to really guide him) who is most likely just taking his frustrations out on the gang. They WERE trying to kill him after all, and he does not know about GT. However, I feel as though Freddy should go and stay in his greenroom instead, choosing to leave Gregory and stay away from him. No utilizing power stations, no protection. It is not in his programming to hurt a kid after all. Maybe you could get the option to apologize and reconnect with Freddy depending on what you do. I do feel that Freddy would understand that Gregory is just a kid who would be none the wiser.
i do like that Bonnie ending and overall the idea of being able to befriend the gang, maybe instead of killing them, maybe have the option to be able to get rid of GT's influence one by one until eventually.
nah actually the true ending is good ending , all monty , roxy and chica still alive . We kill afton that mean vanny was not being controlled anymore , roxy monty and chica will be reboot on safe mode . And all animatronics gregory broke last night will be fix at the morning .
@@milesprower2893 But they wouldn't be fixed. Fazbear Entertainment would just stick another endo in the shells completely wiping the history of the characters. It wouldn't be the animatronics WE know. I left the part vague because I do feel you can defeat Afton AND save all the animatronics from getting replaced. I just felt that the personalities of the characters were kinda wasted if we couldn't help them. Like do the developers really expect that anyone would look at a depressed animatronic and WANT to hurt them? Even a child probably wouldn't want to hurt someone crying.
@@salem2064 I'm not saying Gregory gets killed as in the video. But a scenario where he has to face the consequences of his actions. And let's remember. From his viewpoint, the animatronics were looking to catch him not kill him.
I really feel as if this game could have been so much more story wise. It's not like adding to FNAF1 where everything would have taken story and rule bending to accomplish. An open world with fleshed-out personalities is perfect for really great storytelling and world-building. Even those notes could have been audio files where we get to hear how frustrated the employees are with the company doing such random things.
On top of that, it seems as though the fanbase really bonded with the characters since 2014 despite the implications. Of course the idea of cherished childhood icons wanting to kill us is perfect. But they still strike that chord everyone seems to want. They want to feel like they were kids. And if murder robots are what we get, then let's go for it. The fanbase REALLY desired a "lovable" version of these characters they could interact with. All the people wanting to hug Roxy and Freddy. And a lot of the time not in a sexual way. Just to love. So this game gave us half of that. For the first time, we were able to actually feel like Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaria was a real place we have a chance of going back to.
Steel Wool has a literal money printing machine if they can not only get the bugs fixed, but also add onto these characters.

Frankly I don't see this happening at all, Freddy morally wouldn't do anything like this and it isn't in his character to just toss Gregory aside like he did in this video. Things like this are good in concept but will fail ultimately in practice due to a lot of things with the story and Freddy's personality is simply the biggest obstacle when doing something like this. Of course this video is good, Keep making good videos.

Plus freddys personality in the game is literally a giant teddy bear, we learn that glamrock bonnie was last seen in Montys gator golf but never seen again, but Freddy doesn't hate Monty for Bonnie's disappearance in order for Freddy to actually do something like this in the game he has to be controlled by vanny as well like his friends

This is the kind of ending I would like. Everyone is coming after Monty for what he (allegedly) did to Bonnie, but no one comes after Gregory for his moral choices. I understand he's like 12 and it seems like self defense, but Gregory does say "they'll get what they deserve" meaning Gregory is actively trying to destroy them. He doesn't even care that they're infected by a virus, straying them away from their normal coding, (remember it's literally IMPOSSIBLE for any of these animatronics to process harming a child intentionally while safety protocol is enabled.) Gregory is a little shit tbh.

I felt more upset for the animatronics than I did Gregory. Though, I probably would've felt more on his side if there was more information on why he was there and why it was all happening. Since I had no clue what was going on, I just couldn't sympathize with him and wished there was a way to save the robots without harming them. Also, who just crawls into someone's stomach hatch while they're sleeping?? Wtf Gregory
So you choose to sympathies with the killer robots that are responsible for multiple "disappearances". Simp all you want for them, but these things are not innocent, hack or no hack they have a lot of blood on there hands.
@@venom0825 We actually don’t know that the animatronics were actually the ones responsible for the kidnappings. For all we know, this could be the first time they’ve ever had to hunt down a child. All we know is that Vanny reprogrammed them (against their actual will, no doubt), though if we assume that Vannesa is Vanny then yeah, Gregory’s probably the first time the animatronics were unleashed onto a potential victim.
@@justin2308there are already note in the game that say the glam rock gang have been "bugging out" for some time now. Freddy him self revealed that he was use to clear the path to afton by vanny (so no this is not there first time). But I'll humor this for a moment, vanny has taken control of all the other robots in the building, but your going to tell me only now after a long string of disappearances did she think it would be a good idea to take control of the main cast, arguably the best method to lure unsuspecting fan/victims. Sorry chief im not buying it.
@@venom0825 I didn’t say she just started taking control of main cast, ‘chief’. What I did say was that this was the first time she ever had to actually send them hunting for a kid who got away from her. She’s probably had them reprogrammed for awhile now, but considering how successful she’s been, I don’t think she used the main cast for that task specifically. It would’ve become too obvious. Even Afton was known for being hands-on with his actual murders (you know, the kids he lured by playing dress-up?). The only working animatronics he specifically is said to have used to kill anyone directly were ones- like the Funtimes- he specifically designed for that purpose, and the Glamrocks weren’t his designs. Given that traces of the victims could be detected (particularly odor) just from stuffing their bodies into the original animatronics (which were then possessed), I doubt Afton would be so ignorant as to manipulate Vanny to use the animatronics as the main murder weapon and risk there being visible blood or something that could be seen by F.E. staff or possessed by a child spirit who would come after him- not unless there was no other choice, that is.
So no, I don’t believe that they were used to actually murder anyone before Gregory. After he damaged them, though, reprogrammed or not Freddy does say that “his friends are angry…confused…”, so there is also a chance they no longer care and now just want to kill Gregory in retaliation for what he did to them. Gregory did lure them, exploiting their glitches (which they also had no control over) just to get their parts, so while you can call it self-defense it all seems more done as premeditated acts of revenge, which in this case comes back to bite us since they continue to come after us.

Freddy already knows in the game that his friends are in that state because Greg told him where he got the parts from for all except Monty. The thing he lies about is if it was his fault, so just seeing his friends all destroyed I don’t think is enough for him to immediately turn on Greg.

My god this video managed to make my mind really sad like imagine Gregory an orphaned child with no parents without friends and then meeting someone who protects him and really cared about Gregory how he feels now after this like he is a child to have now feeling guilty imagine all he spent the moments he had with Freddy and then feeling guilty for what he did and then looking down on him and being hated by the person who protected him as a "Father" and then back to being a street kid abandoned again with no one, how traumatizing he would be.

Alright so if you get the good ending where you free Vanessa from glitch trap, and all the tech would be free from Afton's control, would these three be angry for what happened to they since they would have been aware of their actions while under Vanessa's control, like Freddy described when going to the lower excavated parts of the pizza palace, or would they instead wish to try and make amends and hopefully get slightly repaired by Gregory since he has shown a talent for it.
I think it might have served the Game better to have a more straightforward narrative, have the main ending be generally untouched but choices can still matter. I say let the player free the other animatronics if they want to but have it be more challenging and rewarding in order to do it. More boss fights (cause honestly) Monty really is the only one with a proper fight. It also would’ve been cool if in the latter half of the aft on fight, you can Freddy could actually straight up fight them. And if you have all upgrades, find cool ways to take him down. Maybe the game could have used a morality system instead of setting up so many endings.
Admit it, we all wanted to do this! All that effort for items that could've just been replaced with a crowbar.

He doesn't lie though, freddy asks him and he tells him enough of what he needs to know. Chica was smashed in the compactor, roxy was still functional as "nothing stops her" and he didn't even bother asking about monty
Of course, I'm sorry for the animatronics, but I feel sorry for Gregory more, and even more so they (animatronics) are to blame

Gregory uses faz cam, rolls out of the way of roxy charge. Make a run for it as she crashes into freddy, finds the exit. Once out side sets the place on fire, finally sending them all to hell where they belong. Walk of into the sun rise, the end, roll credits.
