There is another printer review coming soon, looking at the CR10 Smart Pro, a true monster in the hobby space. These two printers fulfill two totally different roles in the hobby space, this one as a starter printer with a lot of quality of life features, the other as a fully-formed printer for those who are ready for that next big step in their hobby. That video will be a bit different to this one, so keep an eye out for it, but needless to say, I really like how both machines performed.
Thanks for going through all of the settings! Nobody does this!
I literally bought this exact model of printer for different reasons but glad you came in clutch! My old Monoprice MP10 was absolute garbage, so i decided to return it and invest an extra 100 bucks.
I just started in 3D printing and bought this one in the Chinese New year offer
Pro's - it's actually really good, other than sorting out supports (my own learning) right away it was very good without a lot of print problems i've seen in videos, even the test print rabbit was very good that impressed my m8 that has a 3 Pro modded up.
Con's- it's LOUD, it may have the silent bought but it's a waste of time since the fans seem to be taken out of a jet engine, so now I have to do a fan mod to sort that out.
The glass print bed when you get it is great, however after a few prints it starts to stick too well, you can see patterns in the glass from previous prints but you cannot feel them, but getting them off is a knightmare, I have just bought a PEI bed, just waiting for a 3 day print to finish to swap the glass bed out, hopefully it's better.
GW won't send the Aussie shitposter minis.
Creality will send the Aussie shitposter 3d printers.
GW done played themselves.
You can get it cheaper now on ebay for 309 U.S dollars.
Macca what do you think of using these for printing tanks/miniatures?
Tanks yes, depending on the complexity it may struggle on some bits, but I intend on printing a Rhino on it as a test anyway!
@@TheOuterCircle yeah Im tempted to pick up an FDM just for mech guard, due to my living situation as a young man house sharing w others I cant have bad and potentially toxic resin printers, would love to see more 3D printing content and tutorials!
Were you running the printer with the iPad in the photo you posted?
No this printer, but another, yes.
@@TheOuterCircle what make/model printer is it that is able to be ran from an iPad? Is that a sound method or do I just get a pc?
@@sidewinder3694 So you can use a tablet or smart device and their cloud based app to send files to the printer. I can be at work or on holiday and send a message to the printer to print an item if I like. They are also bringing out a branded tablet for it too.
@@TheOuterCircle awesome, thank you for the concise info. Appreciate the replies and the channel!
bad printer, not half as quiet and smooth as the ender 3 max.
