Invisalign® treatment with mandibular advancement is a single appliance solution designed for Class II correction in growing patients with retrognathic mandibles
If the problem is skeletal , it will not. I got invisalign at the age of 28 years old. My teeth got straight, but my upper jaw was still 7 mm forward as before. Meaning my overbite was not completely corrected. So I was put on braces again (another ortho) and have to undergo surgery to completely fix my jaw misalignment. So, my suggestion to you is to talk to different orthodontist and an oral/maxillofacial surgeon. I had researched before getting invisalign and figured out that invisalign may not fix my jaw misalignment. But my first ortho said it will, no worries. And I trusted him considering as a professional he is. And it didn't fix my bite. So, had to go again into braces (this time metal braces) and then by the end of this year will have the surgey
Have to mention that the good thing about Invisalign is that it will shorten enourmously the time to straighten your teeth. In my case was only 10 months instead of 2-3 years. So, if your overbite is only depended on teeth but is not skeletal (related also to the bones) then Invisalign is perfect.
This is very true. I had braces at a young age to fix my overbite and someone stole my retainers a while back (a creep, long story short) and my teeth definitely have shifted back.
This absolutely sucks... I am currently an Invisalign user with an overbite with this wing and let me tell you it SUCKS. It limits your jaw movements and makes you have sort of a speech impediment. Edit: I also some time soon are going to have rubber bands in my teeth. Which also sucks.
show the condylar bone , also grew? or is it just accommodation? would it be stable if it is not in rc? thanks
CLEAR ALIGNERS for TEETH ALIGNMENT completely painless 👍👍👍
Can you open your mouth when the wings are on your invisalign
You mean mandibular?
Charges?
Does this help with TMJ?
yes
Same question, does it work for adults
Yes, Invisaligns and braces both work for all ages
@@DrAliha but for class II, too?
Does this fix a weak chin in adults?
No this only works in teens before their major growth spurt
Same question also, does it work for adult?
Yes!
@@HollidayOrthodontics how work? in adulthood the jaw does not grow.
@@HollidayOrthodontics are you sure??
Probably not for severe cases. Get xrays to see the real condition of your jaw and talk to an ortho and maxillofacial surgeon
Why is this teen missing two lower bicuspids?
Is this for deep bite ??
Does this work for adults also, or only for teens?
Anyone

Be aware for relapse

I mean if you done your treatment, you should wear your retainer as your doc describe, because this type of treatment have greatest chance of relapse.

when did u start ur treatment ? do u see an improvement ?
@@Narciss99 it’s working month 4
if this thing actually works then it seems a hell of a lot better than surgery, and miles better than retractive treatment like teeth extraction
