Liz talk to other girls at yo church,u might get someone who can do yo hair at her home & works cheaper, try to window shop first,i am not sure abt caribeans when it comes to hairdo,i only know of Ghananians & Nigerians, they do good work when it comes to hair..I live outside London tho 2hrs away down south so i dont pay that crazy price,so i guess london is london. Everything is expensive there!🤷🙉
It is too much to keep extensions for six months to be honest.it might be much better for her to be with natural hair with less expense to be done. she can even do it herself at home if she manage to buy the right hair dressing materials like everyone does this days.
That's a lot Liz. £40.00 - £50.00. If it's just touch up it should be less if you took your own hair. Shop around. Like the lady said some people are very good and cheaper, they also listen to what you would like, rather than what you will get. Eastham and North London are reasonable and you use your tube pass/oyster card for travel. You must remember also, the Longer the length (style) it will cost more than a Shorter length.
Liz you can wipe it out with a rag. I think what she use is “Ossin” and it does leave a residue. It’s easy to fix. Jamaicans are very friendly and easy to to talk to. They only sound aggressive especially in uncertainty. My suggestion is go look for a hair product that works well for you and carry it to the Salon whenever you’re going. I’m sure she will allow you to vlog, Jamaicans LOVE being on camera. . . lol . . . Your hair looks great 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@liz_atti Hi Liz !!Hair dressing is on a very high demand in London. The whole course for international Diploma for up to 26 weeks cost £3,500 along with the registration fee if you are interested to learn.Have a Lovely day!!
Jamaican salons are the best for overall black hair care in London/ Uk. They don’t just do hair braiding like African salons but give overall care to black hair. At least that’s my experience and yes while expensive they never disappoint. Your hair looks nice but try using your natural hair. I think your hubby will like it more 😊
Wow Liz, you are very lucky to only pay 80 pounds for hair extension, or a re-work in London. Here in the US you would be paying-at a minimum- $200 to over $600.00 for braids. Your hair does look nice and refreshed.
The salon did a great job. If she didn’t use the wax or gel the fine hairs at the sides and front of your hairline would look messy and become frizzy over time.
A lot of women go bald in London especially around their hair size because the ladies that do your hair they do it so tight and the climate in this country makes her hair very dry. If I was you I would continue with my husband helping me to do my hair, your hair will be okay.
Hi Liz glad that your hair is ok now and that its Jamaica🇯🇲🇯🇲.Liz you can shop around dont wait until you are ready again to get your hair done, you can also ask your church sisters.
Liz you're like me,I really don't know to give an honest opinion when it comes to saloon things but what I do if I don't love their work that is my first and last day😂😂 but they did it kinda well❤
Liz ,your hair looks great. Meanwhile you can research other salons that specialize in dealing with locks and compare your results. Eventually you will find the right one.Do not stress it, you are still learning your way around in your new country. Much love to you and Atti.😊😊😊😊😊❤❤
😮😮😮Sorry about the salons there. Book a discounted air ticket and come back home every 3 months( an excuse to come home) and do whatever it is you wish: manicure, pedicure, hair treatments, etc, for a tenth of the price! Lots of love from Uganda 🇺🇬💖
Woye😂😂i book for my hair to be done ,i pay when am late .pple must be serious out here lol.anyway mama best wishes you will definitely get used to it❤❤🎉🎉,loving you more🎉🎉🎉
Liz, I really like your hair! I think they did a good job! The first time at any salon, has its challenges! Your vibes with the stylist, what you relate to her/him of what you want them to do, and last did they achieve it! You didn't like the wax or the way it feels, so washing your hair should eliminate that. The next time you go (if it's to the same salon) you will tell them what to. use , instead of the wax. Finding a good salon & hair stylist (one that you have for at least a year) takes time. I say 1 year, because by that time she/he knows exactly what you want, need, and like! You've heard the saying, "You don't miss something until it's gone'? That's the salons in Kenya, with cheaper prices. In the US (just like London) the prices are high with most of the same rules to follow. Anything other than a wash, set or blow dry will cost you lots of $$$$$. That's the price we women pay for looking good!😉 Happy Friday!
My 19year old daughter is a student in UK and her hair is done by Ghanaians, they do it very neat and rate ranges 40-60 pounds. In USA making hair is very expensive, braids are done for USD 150 and above in some states. But in texas is affordable there many Africans there you can do hair with as little as USd 50
Hair is so expensive outside Africa, I opted to have natural locks which I retouch when it’s bad. Transform yourself from being a people pleaser girl, if you don’t like the hair telling them is not you being intimidated but you’re speaking your mind. Much love
When I saw you with the temporary locs heading to UK I wanted to advise you on a different hairstyle. Locs were just hectic for me especially the undoing 😮
Liz not you saying you're obsessed with chewing. 😂😂 She actually did try, I'll give her a 6/10 based on how you feel. UA-cam will teach you how to do your own hair girl & you'll keep the coins for yourself. 😊😂 Atti smiling while you were filming. 😁
😂😂😂😂not atiss saying the hair needs to be washed after the salon your hubby can be funny looking good Liz utaadopt tu kenya nayo tunakuanga tuko sawa kwa kutengeneza nywele love you guys ❤❤❤❤❤
The things you're complaining about is 1 reason some women are going back to their natural hair styles, getting blow outs, learning how thru tutorials to do their own with extensions. With many women doing the same styles, yes- the price goes up, up, up. Sharon of DMO World had her hair styled in a pixie style & we love it. Look her up & see.
Liz its crazy i olmost collapsed when i did my hair in the Netherlands,i had to look for a sallon which i had to do it in onother town, and of course late kama kawaida 😂 the salonist was friendly, ànd my hair was done 7/10
Hey hope you are well. The same thing here in the US unless you find maybe some Kenyan who knows how to do it.Liz I have never noticed that your hair is unkept am surprised that some people just even notice and comment!I always find your hair to be quite smart myself no exaggerations here.I understand how you feel, Nigerians and Jamaicans I note they just don't care. But Kenyans are different...Our Kenyan saloons are one of the best! But you look great though!
If you know the product they use in Kenya try to see if you can find it in London and bring it with you next time or a non flakey gel. The hair looks good. I have to say your timing was off I think your were late or you meant to say 12:15 instead of 12:40. When you got dressed it was 12:40 you said you got there at 12:45 that’s impossible one stop waiting for the train and walking . Anyway all’s good.
I did my own hair for five years while living nje, moved back to Kenya na I still do it since I don’t want to forget and hope to leave again. It takes time, I’m still learning. But it saves u money.
I learnt how to do my own hair in UK because prices were insane. Getting a hair dye was so complicated and had to do it myself. I keep my afro short all the time because its easy to maintain 😂😂😂
@@liz_atti i have a friend who relocated there and she was my saloonist here in Kenya and she's doing door to door services she can give you good services
Wax is really tricky for me it really irritated my scalp l had to leave the dreads all the same. Any way your hair is better than it was ❤❤❤❤ did you say 10000 ksh?
Liz, welcome to London and their prices. Always walk with your umbrella in London, and the weather changes in a split second. GPS is not always right, especially if it's not updated.

Exactly & the frizzy look is what Liz is trying to avoid.

Liz every country they do things differently but you do look good ❤
I usually take my own products (gel, mousse and scalp oil) to the salon to make sure they don’t mess up.
Make sense
The way Attila is looking at you...❤❤💕

It looks good. Big up my Jamaicans. Probably the build-up residues will go away. It looks great. Don't worry, they should know what's best.
The same here in Finland, Liz, it's like building a house.😢

Liz, actually that's a good price. In Canadian dollars it's $137.00. It would have cost you more in Canada. Atti would get used to it too.
