Great video. Exactly what i was looking for. Gonna fo 50% light tint on my g37 tails tonight.
U work a lot with Infiniti. Nice I have a 2006 g35 coupe.
Hi Milan, a great trick on separating the adhesive layer from the plastic layer of the tint is to use your teeth and kinda rub the corner back and forth little. Really helps I used to struggle and my friend showed me it. Thanks for the videos I enjoy watching them:)
Wow thats actually a very good idea! I'll definitely have to try that :) thanks for the tip
Thanks for the videos man, really informative :)
great video, I may want to do this to my car now. I may take the light fixture off though, might make it a lot easier
These are so helpful, I turn 16 in a month and I've wondered how to do all of this stuff. Thanks.
nice bro!!! I like your style.
Kinda wanted to see the taillights done more. I have a G37, and did the tails in a vinyl wrap. But couldn't get the ends to lay/stay down. So i cut the them. I've ordered the new wrap, but nervous as HELL about doing it again! Great job on the video..
Hey! I have a nissan altima 2008 coupe, and I'm wondering how you can paint the rotors & calibers as mine are extremely rusty and look horrible lol. Also, with the tint for the side directional shown in the video, can you do that to a side blinker on a mirror? Thanks so much!
Nice video would love to see a Vinyl wrap a G35 sedan rooftop
Ah the G35, the classic fond memories used to be my dream car as a kid, got the 350z as a youngster, now got a McLaren 😂
Tints is way better than spraying your lens. Gives it a much cleaner look. Cool vid
Can u send me the link to where you purchase the tint on the tail lights they look great and I want to try it out myself. Thank you.
Can you just use any window tint to tint the lights or do you have to use a special kind of tint specifically for tail lights ?
What kind of dip did you use on the wheels? Grey metalizer? Silver metalizer? I'm redoing mine next winter? Nice job btw!
Looks great!!! how long will this last? I really want to do this to my truck
solid info...you did it dry. any problem compared to wet application? seemed very user friendly and could be lifted as needed.i'm only doing 4 flat side markers so like the dry method for small areas. any info appreciated dman
Is there a videos of how you did the roof vinyl and wheel plastidip?
What did you use for the wheels? I have an Infiniti g35 that's the exact same color and I wanna use that color. It looks dope!
I'm thinking of doing this. There are companies out there that sell pre-cut film but cost a lot more than just buying a roll and doing it yourself. Do you know brand of film and shade percentage you used on the side markers? Where did you get the film?
Thanks
Hey i have 2006 g35 coupe tailights..they have the sunk in tailights..you think you can make a tutorial on tinting those headlights specifically, cause they different than the ones used here..i failed twice already :/
do you have a video on how you did the tail lights
milmast do you have a video on dipping that grille
Can you link me to the tint you used on the side markers. I can't find the right percent tint that darkens it so you can still see orange but not too much.
I noticed you had after market headlights. what brand are they? I noticed condensation inside one of them.
what kind of film do you use? some people are saying that using a window tint to your tail/headlight are not the greatest compared to vinyl tint. let ke know what you think. thanks
Great job 🖒🖒
i know this is a stretch, but would you be able to link me to the website that you purchased the film from for the tail lights? Thanks.
what is the brand name of the vinyl wrap you use for the tail lights
Did you take the whole front grill off when you plastic dipped it black, or did you just tape around it.
How much vinyl wrap do you need for both tail and head lights?
Do you know how to get rid of the little "Hail sized" dings in the body? Have a black Civic and really don't want to have to repaint because of small dents.
What percent is the "light tint" for the taillights
hey dude, i was wondering if you had any suggestions for an exhaust system for my 2013 accord coupe l4, i want to get a Y pipe and mufflers and the tips for it but i don't know what ones to do, do you have any ideas?
Well you can't get a y pipe as the i4's have a single collector pipe. So you can get a new down pipe from RV6, what I have on my car, and change that up. I would recommend maybe a magna flow exhaust system and make it a dual exhaust. If I could do it again, I would go dual for sure.
I don't know if you've seen it but here's my exhaust setup.
Straight Pipe Honda Accord Coupe
Why don't you wrap your side mirrors too? That would give a nice look. And good tutoring man, nice work!!!
Wouldn’t it be easier to remove the side marker light and wrap it separately? It’s only held on by 2 clips
can you do this with the lights and markers off the car?
Not sure If u have done a tinted windows vid but that be cool. Great vids man!!
If anyone is in need of tinting, I will gladly throw up a video for you. Thanks :)
great man
nice mirror effect you made at 7:51. didn't want to show how bad you scratched up your paint with that box cutter? :)
PurpleHeartVeteran bahahahah he should have taken the sidemakrer out....easy af
what brand you use ?
Hey man, I really want to wrap my roof like you did for this car, but I'm not sure if it will be able to keep up with the Canadian winters. I live in Toronto and my cars parked outside a good amount of time, do you think it would hold up well?
+tududecarfreako Absolutely. The wraps have come a long ways and are very durable. As long as you go with a reputable brand, like 3M, you can't go wrong with wrapping your roof :)
Hey man. Thanks for this video. You know what your talking about. I got one question for vinyl wrap my roof top. I got couple spots on top with the clear coat peeling off. Will the clear coat be noticeable with black gloss vinyl wrapped over it? I've been wanting to do this for my A4 but was worried about the peeling clear coat. Thanks and you got a new Subscriber.
please show us how to wrap the roof :)
Hey man id like to see a video tutorial on how to wrap a roof, or even if you could explain how to do it step by step, thank you.
Yeah i'd love to! When it gets warmer, I can do a DIY if I get around to wrapping a buddy's roof. In the mean time, you have to remove the roof rails (if you have some on your roof), wash the roof, clay it with a clay bar, dry it COMPLETELY, clean the seals along the windshield because you are going to be tucking the wrap into seal afterwards. Then go ahead and clean the roof with a wax and grease remover to the wrap can properly adhere with nothing interfering. After that its just a matter of wrapping the roof. Take your time, be patient. Buy quality wraps like 3M. If you make a mistake or a bubble, you can lift it back, apply some heat, and you can try again like nothing happened.
Dude sweet video I have an 04 white and black g35. but you know all you had to do is pop the corner markers out. they're held by 2 clips lol
+Danny Quintana Yeah I realized after the video how easy it is to do it now :P
great video nice job!.. Could you do a video of how you did the roof please it would really help me out.
zach manzano Sure thing man! If I get the chance to do it, i'll for sure make a video :)
Thanks man, your videos are amazing you honestly have helped me out in a lot of ways keep up the good work!
Do you have any video on how to take off the rear bumper of the Iinfininiti ? My bumper is coming out and I need to pop it out and then put it back
+Natural Bro TV Unfortunately I dont but most bumpers all come off the same way. Tabs from the rear wheel inner liner that needs to be removed, clips under the trunk, and any wiring for the licence plate light need to be removed.
😍Great
Hey that looks really good. Did you know that the side markers on the G35 snap off really easily? Not sure if that would make applying the tint easier. Also the wheels look amazing. What exact colour and make of dip did you use? Do you get your dip from dipyourcar.com or somewhere else? thanks!
Wrapping something off the car, I find, is only easier if you are wrapping a large part (tail lights, headlights, etc.) but if you're doing, for example, side markers, window trim or emblems, I like doing it on the car.
The wheels are Matte Black PlastiDip with 2 coats of metalizer. I put down 5 coats of matte black, let it dry, and came back to put 2 coats of silver metalizer overtop. I picked up the dip at HomeDepot as it was actually cheaper there than from dipyourcar.com
What percent tint is the lighter one? Would look really good on my Accord tail lights!
how did you wrap the roof?
How did you make your grill gloss black plasti dip that's awesome show us how to make gloss black plasti dip pleasee
Yeah sure will do!! Next time I get a chance, I'll record a video for ya!
Can i heat the tint with hairdryer??
Hello! How long did wrapping your roof take? Did you do it by yourself, and total cost?
socksamazingchannel It took me about 2-3 hours and yes I did it by myself. That time includes the prep and install. Ran me about $90
Hey man what brand plasti dip did you use? It looks really good. I just got a G35 and my wheels are in bad shape.
Regular Black PlastiDip. I then used a silver metalizer overtop the black once it dried.
Oh okay cool thanks. I would've bought gray dip and the metalicizer. Glad I asked.
Hey Milan! Big fan of yours. Quick question, if you were to own a 2014 Honda Accord Sport, white pearl, what would you do to it?
I would get some tint, wrap the roof, and maybe paint the brake callipers the same colour as the body.
Oh, that would look awesome. Never thought of wrapping the roof, thanks!
Yeah if you have tinted windows, I find that a glossy black roof looks GORGEOUS if you have body lines that will accent the tint
thats awesome.. its a great idea it will look great. can you provide a link to where i can get my hands on a roll
+Vyro www.metrorestyling.com/Smoke-Out-Head-Light-Vinyl-Film-p/smkfilm.htm
+milanmastracci Just one more question. Which dimensions should I purchase for a set of g35 sedan taillights
I couldn't tell you. The best way to do it is to measure your tail lights, and get 1 extra foot. So if your tails are 3 feet wide, get at least 4 feet per tail light to get it done.
I tried to tint my side markers but it keeps peeling up what could be causing this, I made sure it was clean and cleaned it with alcohol
+karnsaini if its 100% clean then the area might be rough, try a little sanding with water, if that didnt work then remove the side markers off the car, wrap them and put them back on.
Stupid question, but where did you get your 2 squeegee from? I will be tinting my lights this week most likely but don't have a squeegee lying around. Thanks.
milanmastracci thanks. Cost is like 8 bucks for the items and then 9 for shipping... But might be my only choice!
milanmastracci nothing on Canadian, but the American has it but doesn't ship here :-( I'm sure a local store should carry it..
Fingers crossed! Just get ready to spend a lot more if you go to a store.. I bought mine from the states
Hey man! What kind of tinted vinyl are you using and where did you get it from? Thanks!
there is alotta condensation on the headlight as well btw. but i think u saw that.
We're did u get the tint
I was wondering if you can help me I have a 96 Honda Civic two door to power windows and power locks is there a way you can make a video to make custom door panels or help me find some door panels I need the driver side in the pastor side can you please help me thank you I love your videos I watch them every night I go to bed I walked up to eight or nine and I'll talk to you later peace
Hey bro can you can make a video on how to plasti dip the grille without getting it on the emblem I have a g37 and I'm having problems with it.
Young Baller if you take off the grill you'll be able to see clearly how to pop out the emblem
Where can I find that vinyl wrap for the tail lights? IS there a specific name that I should look up or a brand name that I should look for? Thanks!!
+BPEK Supra Interactive Link is in the description of this video :)

What kind of heat gun is that?
Nice man you got skills.. this is what tint places charge 300 for windows smdh
I love the color of the tires. what paint did you use????
milanmastracci i meant wheels btw. but you got it. thanks. it looks awesome
do you NEED the heat gun??
I have a question, why do some people spray the adhesive with soapy water? Does it work better? Have you tried doing it that way? Thanks :)
FXloaphy The only reason why they do that is so the film will be able to slide once you apply it to the panel. The only time it sticks is when you use the squeegee and push the soapy solution out from under it.
milanmastracci
It seemed harder to use when i tried the soapy water.... it wouldn't stick at all :c maybve it was just cheap tint with shitty adhesive
How did you get the rust off the rotors? Mine are pretty rusty. Also my front left has a huge gash on one of the spokes from the previous owner and a bunch of curb rash. Should i just plasti dip over it?
For the rotors, I used a drill with a wire wheel and ground all of the rust off, then painted them so the rust wouldn't come back. If you wanna see more detail, check out the Facebook link in the description and it will bring you to my business page. Look under the photo album 'Infiniti G35 Coupe 3/4' for picture.
For your wheels, I would plastidip it a matte colour or even a metallic. If you go with a matte black for example, it will hide the gouges and scratches very well.
im thinking about silver or the color you used on the infinity and then put gloss on it so its metallic. Thanks man
PolskieBMW I really love the look of the silver metalizer over a black base. I think its one of the nicest finishes for wheels
milanmastracci Awesome info dude. What did you paint on the rotors after you ground all of the rust off?
I used VHT caliper paint in Real Red to get that bright red behind the wheel. :)
Where can I get some of these products I like to try tail lights and marker lights.and thinking of doing my hood 2008 vw jetta
+o0o_punisher_o0o Metrorestyling.com, amazon, aliexpress, lots of places. A simple google search will do wonders
+milanmastracci you don't need to be a douche. I just asked because maybe there is a thicker. so don't be a douche
I'm not being a douche. I'm saying that If you don't know a question, a simple google search will help you if you're stuck... I didn't know helping someone out was being douchy
man that is sick but how will the stock head lights project
+Lumison Jean They will still project but just keep in mind that the output is going to be diminished because it has to go through a tinted medium. For headlights, I suggest not tinting them, but blacking out the interior housing
Can i have the reflectors complelty blacked out
+completeGamer007 Its your car.. Depending on where you live, a police officer might issue you a warning and a ticket
paint from 2:44 looks different to 7:20, its only the glue or is for the heat?
jahmarko The bumper was repainted using spray cans and it wasn't baked to cure the paint. This meant that the clear coat wasn't bonded to the base coat, which is what you see in the 7:20 shot. The clear coat peeled up when I took off the excess wrap around the side marker.
Does the wrap come off after being battered by rain, snow, mud etc for some time?
+Yoan Filipov Sure does :) If its difficult to remove, us a blow drier or heat gun to help loosen the glue from the backside!!
milanmastracci One could always tint the inside of an element with tint foil or tint spray, but is there any way to prolong the life of elements tinted using the method that you show in the video? Maybe applying layers of clear plastic over the tint foil or spraying the element with some kind of clear base/finish?
Good video but it would be great to have a before and after with lights ON.
Hey just a question.. where to find tinted vinyl? Its easy to find tint film but am assuming what you using is not a film but some kind of vinyl that is easier to remove in comparison to tint film?
MrVVnz Yeah no problem man! They come in a few different tint grades so have fun playing with them
it takes 5 seconds to remove the light.
minhphan86 for real and you didn't scratch the shit out of ur paint...shitty tutorial
Do we absolutely need the heat gun to do this? I want to do this to my car but I don't have a heat gun.
+Rated MsT It makes like a lot easier. If you don't have a heat gun, you can use a hair dryer or something else that makes heat. If you have access to it, use it because it makes the vinyl want to stretch and conform.
You should do a video on how to install an aftermarket spoiler
Are you talking about a wing that comes OEM on some cars or a large wing?
If I get around to doing this or have a buddy that wants to do this, I'll be happy to throw up a video! :)
milanmastracci aight cool. I just got a new accord coupe and I saw an accord with one and I was thinking about getting one...
would this look nice on a white mercedes e550?
Give it a try! the worst that could happen is you don't like it, and if so you can just take it off
what percent tint would you recommend for a darker red for the taillights
+Vyro I would go with the darker shade. Reason being is that the dark, essentially makes the tail lights a near black, it is a dark red. I'll be making a video on it.
Its weird. They didn't actually give me a percentage. It was either 'dark' or 'light'. I got both just to see how they would turn out, and the dark looks like its an actual tint, rather just something questionable.
How did you clean your rotors, a few of mine are starting to rust somewhat. Thanks
They are bare metal so they rust if not driven, drive it around hit the brakes, boom clean rotors.
Not a problem!! :) It'll probably up within a month. I have a friend's Charger that needs some wheels dipped, and while I take the wheels off, I'll fix the rust on the rotors.
i wanna see how you plastidip interior car parts please
that moment when you have a good comment but UA-cam says, an error occured
hey what grade of tint did you use??
+Jonathan Evora Light for the tail lights, and dark for the side markers. I'll be doing a video about tinting tail lights with dark tint soon!!
What % did you used on the tail lights
Sergio Ravelo I'd say 30%. They didnt't really give a specific grade. It was the lighter of the 2 tints available
What percentages of tint did you use?
I didn't use the same type of tint as you would for windows. This type of tint is a wrap style Similar to wrapping a vehicle, same type of idea however this is transparent. There are 2 different grades that are available through this company.
Why is your rim all gouged?
What was the percent of tint you used
Trey Vasquez Dark. I was not given an actual gradient of how dark the tint is.
Awesome tutorial man. I love non-destructive mods. Good job.
***** Thanks :) Glad to hear
