I bought this game several years ago but of course life happens so never opened it until now. I found your video to be very helpful.

This game has some unnecessary complex components, that if removed would make it so much easier to understand. Plus the instructions are so detailed you think certain actions are more difficult than they actually are.
Every RPG game I've bought comes with a one page step by step each character does on their turn in a simplified way, without needing to know the why or how.
This one doesn't. Instead you get a graphic novel for a manual which comes off intimidating.
Besides all that. It is a beautiful game and fun.
Confused players- close the gates, trap all the ghost's, move on to your second scenario until you've finished all 4. 🤙

So the Busters dont die? You just play until the gates are closed?

If 2 Ghostbusters both have tethers on the same ghost, and the ghost gets trapped, who gets the ghost?

I would say whichever ghostbuster placed the last tether on the ghost.

you made a number of mistake's here, both in that you got thing's wrong as far as the game play went and I feel that you explained some things in an order that can confuse people.

Thanks for the feedback, what did you see that was wrong?

thanks for being understanding, here's what I found: first off, you showed the KS box. it would be better (IMO) to at least show the art print that came with it and point out that the print is the retail box art. then you gave a very high end play time that suggests a full 4 scenario game will take 4+ hours when 3-4 hours would be accurate. the retail version only come's with three boss's but you specifically say 4. you misspoke explaining the scenario cards and should have saved that for after explaining a few other things(like the tiles) 3:41 at this point anyone not familiar with the game will be lost, you just through quite a bit of stuff at them with little or no explanation. they don't know what the gate's, PKE meter and ANY of the dice are for, let alone when/how the various dice are use'd. (you also never mentioned the streams, and ghost cards) your explanation of the terrain is good and accurate, but you could have been more descriptive, and this should have been before the scenario cards. you completely failed explaining what you call "phases". you should have said that it's done in "rounds", each buster take's their turn(explain actions and maneuvers but save combat) and after each buster has had their turn the round ends with the event die. you did a so/so job explaining actions you continued to add and change terms witch will confuse players to no end, and you completely forgot to mention both maneuvers AND how many actions/maneuvers each buster has. the "venkman combat example" was a bad choice because of ecto-1's presence and you messed it up in part by not using the stream token. the "Winston vs. gate" example's are fine, but will confuse people since you did not explain that they get multiple actions to shoot with. the "Spengler example" will confuse people both because you never even touched the stream tokens with peter, and because you literally mention the very next segment as having already happened. you forgot to move the ghost from peter to ray when you explained transferring ghosts. finally why did you wait till the "end phase" section to not only mention the standard "players lose" situation, and why wait until now to finish talking about the car when you started during movement? all in all this is a very disjointed and confusing tutorial. it's clear you like the game, and this is one of the shockingly rare video's on it that has no critical gameplay mistake's. (I've seen people get ghost movement backwards, do actions as maneuvers and even skip whole buster turns) if you've ever seen someone speaking perfectly in an unfamiliar language but they don't actually know what they are saying some of the time and it shows, that's kind of how this felt.

Thanks for the feedback I will look over it and see if there are any changes I can make without having to create a whole new video and with it being such a low view count video I don't think it is worth redoing it at this time but I will look at this when I make the video covering Ghostbusters 2 and if I have some free time I will also look at fixing things as I still have all the clips I cut for the video. I am grateful for your time going over my video and letting me know what I missed. I try to take every effort not to make mistakes in my videos and that is upsetting that I made a fair number in that video. If you watch any of my other videos let me know what you think of them.
