My only issue has been the headset pads; I replaced them with better ones and now it's fine. The audio is quite good, and they don't bother me for long periods.
I've had the Arctis 1 Wireless since August 2020 and i'm shopping for a replacement, (hence why i found this video) The sharp edge under the thin padding on the band, is not noticable, and i'm literally bald. All ear cups are hot. The logitech g535 costs double what the Arctis 1 costs right now.
I completely agree with this opinion. I paid about $80 for mine and have had them for over 4 years. They are super comfortable, good sound quality, very comfortable. The edge is not the problem, the only thing that gets damaged is the faux leather at the top.
I have these and they charge horribly or I mean they did (now they don't charge at all) maybe it's a factory issue but the place where the charging port goes it's just too shallow and the 'B' charger is like a milimiter monger and that's why I presume it doesn't charge. In past I used many methods to force it to charge but that just doesn't work anymore. So I'll probably buy new ones (not these again) but I'm a student with a tight budged and I'm not sure if I would like to order from amazon.
i got the cyberpunk edition of these headset three years ago, was all good until today the charging port or something in charging is now not working and it will not connect and charge correctly. unfortunate but they did me good for 3 years
Same issue here, ive had these for probably 4 years and this is the first problem ive had but it seems like it might be the end of their life. Currently pondering whether i should get another of the same pair or try another steelseries headset. Just wish these had a usb c charging port and they would be perfect. Really sad to see them go :(
@@ayubarsala3085 yup i was sad aswell, they did me great for those years. i ended up gettin a cheap logitech headset temporary ive been using til i get a nice headset
I bought this headset after watching this video. I haven't received it yet but, your review, independent of what I will think about the product, is very good and you went strictly to the point. +1
i just bought the razer barracuda x 2022 for backup headset since got sales here i bought it lol, and i have an old hyperx cloud stinger core wireless that i bought since it launched, still good n 90% looks like new, eventho 2x i changed the earpad. sound on razer: more bass than the hyperx.
I'm having an issue where when I lower the volume via the dial on the left ear, the sound from the left is just gone and can only hear on the right ear. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
I bought the arctris pro wireless and it broke where the headphone swiveled and they didn’t send me another one :3!!! So I bought astros and lasted me 10+ years
Homeboy, this is actually the best budget headset you can get, it's cheap, if you want real quality, get a high end set. Pro tip: get the wired... Always get wired headphones please.
I had a wired Arctis 1 headset for about 2 years, I replaced it with a wireless Arctis 1 headset in January of last year. Despite looks, they hold up and you get a good dollar-to-quality ratio. It is a welcome step up from the cheap Amazon headsets I bought 4 years ago that would only last a few months. I prefer the clean black look, and it matches my setup well. This headset is much better than Beats or turtle beach in build and sound quality. Not to mention way cheaper. That being said if you have a larger budget. My friend has the Sennheiser PC38X and they sound GODLY! The wireless one has a much shorter range than something like Airpods. but no noticeable delay like AirPods. Great battery life(although I have noticed it dying faster), and the bass seems not as loud compared to the wired version for some reason. Owning the wired and wireless Arctic 1 I can say the wired version is better, unless you are someone who really dislikes taking off your headset when going to the bathroom it is cheaper, and overall a better deal to stick with the wired. Not even mentioning how much lighter wired is and how loud and annoying low battery and disconnect sounds the wireless headset makes are. As for the mic, I throw my headset all the time and ended up breaking the microphone of the wired one. The microphone was out of stock for about a month. It was really my only complaint. Why a removable mic if it isn't replaceable? I bought a $50 USB mic and my friends said it wasn't even in the same ball park, so maybe buy a USB mic if you can afford it. The Arctis 1 mic isn't awful but it is just worse.
It's crazy that u got this high level of content with only 1k
hope to see people like u growing up (u got my sub)
Thank you so much 🫡

It comes with wired no?
@@EthanM651 There's a wired and wireless version.
@@zep0th370 but I have the wireless one and it also comes with a headphone cable
Care to explain why wired is better?
The white noise and poor microphone quality had me to return it
Insane White noise
Do you think these are worth £20 the wired headset version?
i guess they were buggy, mine. but i wouldn't use them even if i got £20 to buy them
