    Looking fab mate. I have been getting a few worm casts also, but wish they were warm casts😂😂😂I noticed mine was nice and dark green, but when I parted the grass, saw lots of yellowy blades, not sure if just dead blades or disease, so I scarified and overseeded a week ago, so going to be a few weeks for mine to recover. Think it best at this time of year now that you keep the height at 25mm. Keep up the great work mate.

      @@markslade9722 I am sure I have replied your message last night?? 👀
      Is warm cast on the subtitles? Haha mate what I am like 🤣🤣 Yeah weathers still OK for Prem.P to germinate, I am sure yours will be fine mate. I had the same thing and could not work it out what was it. I initially thought that I have over fertilised? Who knows but I have applied more granular and it actually bounced back. Last week I also applied miracle grows feed, ine in the boxes with hi in Nitrogen. It has 33% urea I think I swear I could see greening very same day. The next day it was clearly evident. So my conclusion is that this seed is a very hungry one! Weathers been amazing this week and did front as well so giving a week now without cut to see what happens. You got to show yours mate, Dans prem pitch lawn is doing great what I am seeing on instagram. ✌️

      @@mushy_GLXnice one Joe. Great to know that. I couldn't work out why it looked lovely and green, but when I parted it, saw loads of yellow blades. So just assumed it needed scarifying to rip out those yellow dead blades. But Tesco had those miracle grow feeds in boxes all reduced to clear and a great price, so I couldn't resist and bought their last three boxes. It is granular in two bags inside the box and comes with a scoop to mix with water. So once mine has recovered and germinated from the scarify and overseed, I will feed it. Like I said it couldn't be seen until I actually parted the grass, so wish I had now just fed it and not bothered with the scarify and overseed🙄yeah Dan's is looking great also at the reel mowing club. And I noticed you are copying the Britney moment from someone also called Dan🤣🤣🤣🤣Get a video up of your front lawn at some point👍

      @@markslade9722 Those the ones mate, I got two boxes for tenner or twelve quid if I remember correctly and one box will treat my lawn for 4 months so its pennies when you break down really. That's why I did a verticut on mine.. as seen some brown grasses, made it worst I think. Sometimes its a simple fix as just putting a fertiliser down and we make ourselves more work than needed!
      Haha copied a big time mate, I was watching OCD lawn and he mentioned there britney moment and that's why I put it on mine 😂✌️ I like that fella OCD lawns. Yeah I meant Dan from reel mowing club mate, his lawn looking mint front one tho.
      All lawns from Expert Dan looking sick mate, I am not even going there 😂😂

    Looking sweet. My lawn is starting to get battered and bruised from worm casts, birds and squirrels!

      @@TheReelMowingMowingClubThanks mate 👍 we can not control everything but if things go to tits I might apply some D 505, not only it destroys the leatherjackets(which I am free for now, back lawn anyways) also worms. I know they are good for soil and everything but my lawn looked fine this Spring without them. I also want to get rid of pigeons somehow 🤔😂 to catch em of course😜 and let them go in Walse maybe. I will blind fold them so they dont find way back 🤣🤣
      Your lawn looks superb mate, looking forward for an update for that shady part which you aerate recently.

      I get loads of worm casts also. I have to go over the lawn with a broom before cutting every time. 🤬

    • @mushy_GLX
      @mushy_GLX  12 днів тому

      @@Budget_Gardener I know they are pain in the ass, and to be honest they do little help but more damage to the lawn. Think about it... we lawn nutters aerate the lawn twice a year so what is the purpose for the worms then? And on the plus side birds won't be digging up your lawn searching for them..✌️
