I am considering attending at Ball State, and i just wanted to ask a couple of questions about the rooms and school in general. Is the campus big? What are class sizes like? How small are the rooms, in all of the videos i've seen they look quite confined.
kyra smith hey, thanks for watching! So I’d say the campus is a medium size. It’s about a 15 minute walk from one end to the other, but everything is really easy to find! Class sizes just depend on the class. Your core classes (gen eds) will probably be big lectures but once you get into your major you’ll probably have smaller classes (20 people or so depending on your major) and the rooms size really depends on what dorm building you get. All of them are pretty nice though so I would worry too much about that....any dorm room is gonna be pretty tiny but it’s definitely doable! If you have more questions let me know! 💗
I have a question for you I'm tryna get into ball state right and my GPA is like a 3.5-3.6 I'm only a sophomore what is the GPA requirement to get into Ball State and what did u get on your ACT/SAT, please respond, and also what SAT/ACT prep test did you take before actually taking the real SAT/ACT test
I'm not sure about the exact numbers. I would check on the ball state website under admissions! I'm sure you will be totally fine though! I don't know anyone that has gotten rejected haha!!
Hey! So I have question about your room mate! I’ve recently been accepted to Ball State and I think I would really like to go but I have hella anxiety about the whole room mate thing. Does Ball State have a system for picking the pairs or is it completely random? Can you pick your own roommate? Also, I know that some schools around me have online questionnaires that you can take that will match you to someone a roommate that is similar to you. Do you know if Ball State has anything like that?
Bella Weirdo oh don’t worry!! You don’t have to go random. So most people find their roommates on the Facebook page. There should be a Facebook group set up now (or soon) called Ball State class of (whatever year you will graduate). Join that and you’ll see lots of people looking for roommates! If that doesn’t work for you, there is also and online questionnaire that you will fill out when you got through the online housing process. For me personally, I knew my roommate prior to coming to college so I didn’t do that but I know lots of people who do and most of the time it works out fine! 💗
Phoebe Jacobs for privacy and security reasons, I did not. And I can’t take my camera in the bathrooms as they are communal. Meaning anyone could be in there showering, changing, etc.
It’s good you have your own fridge freezer! We always had to share, with just one!!!! For like 30 rooms!!!!

Jessica Leigh Are Single Dorms available in any residence halls there? Are they near impossible to get?
Connor Sutton there are some available but they can be difficult to get, especially if you’re a first year student. And they are a lot more expensive.
Do you ever comment on which dorm you live in? You should lead with this. Also, a tour of the bathroom would have been much appreciated.
