A song that is 18 minutes long, yet I've never been bored listening to it, or skipped it on the rare occasion it comes up on S O U N D T R A C K S :) a phenomenal job for sure
This music, in my opinion, is great for whenever I'm drawing my villainous, steampunk, British character for the series (honestly, no idea of what kind. Considering book, comic book, cartoon, and most recently video game since I'm attending college for game design) that I want to make. Gets me in the mood to draw his sinister expressions and Victorian Britishliness.. lol
12:59 "There was never any magic! Only conjuring tricks. The simplest involved paying people off, like the prison guard who pretended to be possessed outside your cell; your reputation and the inmates fear did the rest. Others required more elaborate preparations, such as the sandstone slab that covered your tomb. You had it broken before your burial, then put back together using a mild adhesive. An old Egyptian recipe I believe; a mixture of eggs and honey, designed to be washed away by the rain."
Listening to this, I can't believe modern people can ever listen to anything else. The only reason Hanz Zimmer isn't in top spot instead of bieber is because he has a league of his own.
Somehow I think this would match perfectly to The Killing Joke. Batman fighting the Joker up until 14:20, where Batman offers Joker his help in rehabilitation, and Joker declines. Joker tells the joke about the two guys in a lunatic asylum at 14:35, and they laugh up until like 15:44, which is where Batman grabs Joker's shoulders and we pan down.
I find that too, and find this quite staggering, how can a one be so deeply influenced by the nuances of sounds. I myself am quite the wild round the bend person, but under this staggering influence I find my mind flowing clearly as the day is long.
The theme for Blackwood plays at least twice on the first movie. It first plays before the American guy dies from bursting in flames as Blackwood is sharing his plans to take over the world with magic. The second is when he appears in Parliament. It is a slow and haunting strings cue @ around 5:59 to 6:40 .
Le Me, wih my headphones on, full sound on laptop, headphone and youtube At 3:03 This is gonna be interesting... At 3:05 Waaauuughhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In synopsis: Brain still recovering from shock, heart rate super high, Eyes wide open ears still ringing Physical recovery 6 weeks in bed Total Psychological recovery : 6 months capacity to hate this music: Hate? What hate, I love this! Awesome movie, directors, actors ( esp. RDJ ) and awesome composers ( Hats off to Hans Zimmer)
hi hello all i just need very imp thing please can you tell me which chords or notes does the song starts at exactly 17:37 i need this please for my school project can you help me from 17:37 - 18:10 what are those notes exactly
I always wonder, does the composer use inspiration from the movie to make music OR do the directors/actors use inspiration from the music to make movie. Movies and music go hand in hand to build worlds. Hans is one of the greats
I didn't say that Hans wrote nothing. My point is, that he doesn't write the scores alone. And this is a fact. It's the note 'Additional Music by Klausmin Örvarbalfe and usual suspects' telling you I'm right. Plus, there is an interview with Rupert Gregson-Williams about 'The Prince of Egypt' where he says, that Hans wrote the themes, but Rupert wrote the music for some scenes (e.g. the killing of the firstborns). Now I ask myself, which scenes of other movies (like Holmes) scored Hans or not
yeah, sorry, that's because I commented a long time ago, complaining about Zimmer's RC-studio. And then millions of people started commenting on that, so I wanted do defend my point...and when I am on this video again, I sometimes see new comments, like that one, whrer somebody just asks what scene it is...and why not being nice and telling him, what he wants to know ;)
Probably the best music to listen while doing a math exam

4:56 - 6:14 Wow.
The music from 17:35 till climax literally touches and plays the chords of my heart ❤️
14:20 masterpiece

Never thought Zimmer would go for the experimental instruments before this score. But he absolutely nailed it since ...
17:55 always reminds me of Assassin's Creed 3. Probably because Lorne Balfe also made it's soundtrack.
i get the power of observation and deduction like Sherlock by listing to this epic piece of soundgasmic music.

One of the best tension building moments
@@BlackCommissar That's an especially amazing bit. Hope he comes back for SH 3 in 2021
@@NathanielWhittoUpdates Agreed. May the legend continue on.
Coolest thing - if you listen, it's based on the four-quarter bell peal from Big Ben... Gives me goosebumps every time.
@@RichardHunterGreenwich oh yes!

Only Hans Zimmer can make the Westminster Chimes sound so epic.

:45 The ambience here is amazing. How do they make all of the instruments sound like they came out of a honky tonk?
Happy to hear that.
*takes off sunglasses* Mother of god... THIS IS EPIC!!!!!!!
oooh! this is actually one song alone... holy shot...
Whether it was Hans or Lorne who came up with this epic shit...he should have gotten the Oscar just for this cue!

MusicalArstisticGirl, awesome video!
great selection of songs and putting them together like that...
what were the tracks assembled?
the first 30 seconds: feel like a master
They should have made a separate extended soundtrack of the part between 17:31 - 18:21. It's fucking awesome!
it's Hans Zimmers and Lorne Balfes Soundtrack the movie 'Sherlock Holmes' by Guy Ritchie
0:01-18:22 is the best part of the song.
Is this the Pandora version?
Will be done my Lord.
I'm going to need 6 months to psychologically recover from my calc exam in half an hour o.O
At least I have this soundtrack
I guess I'm not the only one reading this with Holmes' voice in my head.
hey does anyone know where to get the sheet music for this song?
I always wonder, does the composer use inspiration from the movie to make music OR do the directors/actors use inspiration from the music to make movie. Movies and music go hand in hand to build worlds. Hans is one of the greats
17:39
This is what everyone lowkey came for
3:25 mmmh C'est énorme !
trop bon
5:13 ❣️
What part of the movie did this play in?
I hear a lot of Zimmer's other soundtracks in this, that's not a bad thing.
Which instrument is played at 3:25 ?
Banjo or Banjo Guitar.
Gotta love the Sherlock god damnit sherlock

Why is there no third film god damn it
3:30, funky part !
