- Max the Great Dane loves dipping and sipping. Watch and laugh as Max asks to go outside, teaching his new sister Ellie more fun things to do. Max and Ellie go to check on Dad's efforts at cleaning up pine needles and then Max shows Ellie shows how to do Dip and Sip. Ellie very sweetly pauses to look at Katie's memorial wind chimes that were a thoughtful gift from a You Tube friend.
Love hearing Katie say to everyone "I Love You" when the Wind Chime speaks.....Cheers Everyone

I think that Max stopped and paused for a moment to listen to this beautiful wind chimes that were Katie's or someone gave in Katie's memory they are beautiful and they sound beautiful I think he was listening to them💖💟💖💟

Terry Amerson do you think that Max senses Katie's presence when he hears the wind chimes? It's almost like something other-worldly is coursing through his body as the chimes are ringing...Max completely stops walking and it's like he's with Katie for that moment the chimes are ringing. Oh my gosh, I am in tears thinking about all of the emotions Max must be feeling.

I just love Katie’s wind chime. It’s good to see Max is doing so well. Ellie is adjusting and getting along with her brother. Katie is smiling and looking down from above. Love you and miss you lots Katie.
Just a lovely family! I believe Katie was calling to Ellie when she kissed the chimes, just to let her know that she is still with them in spirit & watching over them, sometimes Max looks back behind him as if he is still looking for Katie, God bless him

Nobody will ever be able to take Katie’s place, but Ellie is fitting in nicely and coming into her own personality. Now it’s Max’s chance to be the big brother and leader to Ellie...just like Katie was to him. The wind chimes are a great reminder of Katie and I think Max is still looking for her whenever he picks up on her scent in the house and outside. 😌🐶☀️💕
yea, I think max was choked up, walking by the equipment dad was using, recalling the times they rode together on the cart. damn it, here I go...again....{tears}

That’s the schedule!! These kids today!! They have no respect for their elders!! I told her that 3 times! After nap, pool! aww I feel bad for max he seems to be moving slow like he has joint pain but it could be that just next to ellie he is showing his age. I have no idea how old he is but I've had dogs from puppy to elderly and I am just seeing some of the signs. bless all of you such great pet parents!
I love the chimes and how Ellie touched it, so very touching. Katie is watching without a doubt. I can see Max still waits for her to reappear, but Ellie will help. She is so intelligent and freely loving. She knows there is healing happening. Such another special girl.

I rescued an American Bulldog/Boxer mix that is white and deaf too. Mine doesnt understand the deep end. She keeps falling in so I always have to watch over her. Best dog ever.
I always thought that Great Danes could not swim, because of the length of their legs in comparison to their bodies.

Those Norfolk pines grow like crazy and will take over everything if you let them. Not the best trees to have close to a house in Florida, as they get big, top heavy and have shallow root systems.

Max was having a bad day. His left back leg was hurting the day the video was filmed. Max did a little too much exercise with Ellie the previous day. Thanks for your concern. He is doing much better today.
