I still believe Walt Disney World is better all together in my opinion. But the feels you get in Disneyland hit hard when you realize that was the park that Walt directly built
There's definitely something different in Disneyland, the history and legacy of it all...Disney World will always be home to be though.
I go to both resorts regularly and the huge difference between Disneyland and WDW is that WDW is definitely more appropriate for the big vacations with family and you can visit once every season at the most. Disneyland is like the neighborhood backyard BBQ where you go to hang out with your friends every weekend especially since there’s always something new and different at DLR (especially, the food and events).
That “magical” feeling everyone talks about is so subjective but I will say that both resorts definitely have that magical feeling. What Disneyland has though, is history and nostalgia - and that can’t be replicated anywhere.
Also, since the park has a large patronage of regulars/locals, it’s definitely a more chill-and-vibe type of crowd; which is infectious. I’ve honestly felt more stressed being at WDW in the middle of a tropical wonderland than I have at Disneyland in the middle of a busy, urban area. All because the crowds are just vibing. ❤
You are not wrong. Both are definitely magical but WDW can be a right hot mess sometimes 🤣 Chill is spot on for DLR, such a refreshing, infectious experience. We'll be back as soon as we can 😁

Disneyland hugs you. The density of attractions, the mature trees, the size of the buildings, tight walkways - the scale feels very human and built before the public knew what a Disneyland was. Of course when Disneyland bursted in popularity, Imagineers had to design Magic Kingdom to fix some of these faults but it does lose the charm aspect a bit!
I just have to say I love your energy in this vlog - I find most other theme park vlogs to be "overly ecstatic" and how you carried yourself throughout the day is how I think most people would! Thanks for sharing 😊

LOL, the most commonly used word at the end of Matterhorn... "ow" -- Definitely not a smooth ride, but it's important to remember that it's the granddaddy of it's type and is one of the originals. It's like riding a classic car... the ride sucks, but it's more than the ride. Honestly, the ride was better before they changed the sleds. They used to be two people per seat, front to back. It was way more fun doing it that way, depending on who you sat with.
Lol it is funny that while it was painful, I'd totally ride it again. It reminds me of our space mountain in Disney world, very similar ride vehicle and even overall feel to a point.

Fun fact: At 2:56, a Disney fan created those sculptures and sent it to Disney as a gift. Disney loved it so much they decided to place them there. Only problem is that the person didn't make Snow White, so Disney had to make one.
Funny enough, I actually just heard another story around these statues, lots of different tales floating around out there. Weird. 🧐
We are WDW passholders heading to DL the first week of September. I’ve been there but this will be an immersion into Walt history.
Ooooohh, that sounds amazing! Not sure when it'll happen but we cannot wait to get back there to experience and explore more. Might have to plan a deep dive into some of that Walt history like you next time. Hope you have a wonderful time!
