@FMAStudent I'm not sure about that particular time but remembering the era, Tristan was very much into the Detroit Grand Prix races and I know that he and Emma (supposedly an item around that time) were in town during the Grand Prix race, which was an annual event for a while, especially in the 1980's. Maybe that's what initially brought him to town. Also, there were a lot of soap events in the Detroit area during that time---especially mall events; and and this show was very popular.

The 80's in Metro Detroit were pretty idealistic for my family and I know everyone has their own experiences but I hope the good thoughts and memories lead the way for the families with roots there. I still remember Tubby's, White Castle, and all the regional haunts of the Metro area. haha. When, I was in high school, I used to rush home just to see my Hero, Robert Scorpio take on all the bad guys. Ah, the early to mid 80's were the days !!!

I was an audience member twice at the Kelly & Co. show. Once for The Munsters actors, and then Steve Guttenberg & Clifton Davis. I taped the one of us at the Munsters show, but don't have it anymore. I wonder how I could get those 2 shows?
Yeah, I remember Kelly & Co. Tell me, what was the driving influence that brought Tristan to Metro Detroit?... Understandably, the local economy was better then but why, Detroit? Was Kelly & Co that influential a show within the ABC fold? Thanks... grew up in Metro Detroit and moved to Orange County.
