Execution, illustration, print and narrative of technique is excellent! Best video by far for a full circle skirt! I think your techniques are the “go to” when searching for instruction of a pattern. Keep those tutorials coming.
You explained this very clearly and slowly. This is a simple pattern but from a total beginner perspective (and someone who is rather nervous about doing new things) it's nice to have things explained clearly and slowly lol
This is honestly one of the most simple and easy to both understand and follow tutorials for this skirt pattern that I have ever seen so far, and the fact that you concisely explained this in 9 minutes makes you my new hero!! Thank you so much for this!! :D I am currently on my way to find a large enough area of floor space and a measuring tape to make this pattern right now, though I may have to use newspaper for mine as I don't have drafting paper lol XD but hey, if it works, it works, all you need is a pattern to cut your fabric with after all :)

I usually love your tutorials but "if you do a little multiplications/ division" without explaining was confusing. For everyone lost do 30 ÷ 6.28= 4.77 round up 4.78
@@nevegriffin9188 Because the circumference of a circle = 2 * pi * radius. She knows the circumference of her waist is 30. Pi is 3.14. 2 times 3.14 = 6.28.

Your explanation is really clear. Well done Priscilia. Made it easy for newbies like me to understand (i was inspired to make a skirt for my god-daughter about 2hours ago). Will be following your tips for sure, and will be watching your other videos as well. ❤
Thank you! I’ve just started sewing clothes. I’ve always “winged” things in the past for my kids & so every other type of art, crafting, diy, refurbishing, house repairs, etc that you can think of. Since my kids are grown & I’ve been super artsy-fartsy lately, I’ve decided to start sewing. I mean, I have a machine. I know I can do this! My first project is a Mardi Gras cape for us. We live in New Orleans and are always trying to “out do” the year prior, so this year is capes! I figured a circle skirt would be a great start for a cape. We didn’t want Superman capes. We want something that goes around & can fling behind, if desire. Finger crossed!! Your video helped me so much. And I understood ALL of it!
Thank you for this. I'm about to make a circle skirt and was nervous. I will take your advice and make a pattern first rather than try to wing it and cut on the fabric.
