Hi Cyndi, I’m in north Austin and would love more tips (already watched your tips from last winter) on when to bring in our tropical plants. It’ll be 50s tonight and not sure!
That's my next video. I would bring in my tropical plants when temps are in the 50's. But most of my potted plants stay out till right before the first frost. I just throw a cover over them if I'm worried about a cold snap and I don't have time to get them inside. Everything will come inside my garage around Dec. 15th.
Looks great. Digging holes in central Texas is tough.
It really is! But we Texan's are tough gardeners!
Great tips !! Helping with this bed is a lovely thing to do… HEB often has expanded shale, which really can help our Central Texas soil…
I'll look for it! Thank you!
You are just precious! I’ve been using shale for about two years in my gardens! I love when I dig a hole in there it is.
You're so sweet! Thank you! Yes, to the shale!
Nice hat!
Thank you!
Looks great
I agree!

Informative video! Any chance that you filmed how you installed the edging?
He used an electric edger to slice a row all around the garden. The metal edging just slide right in.
What Is the orange flowering plant in this flower garden?
Giant Orange Marigold
@@TheGonebald I didn't know they had marigolds that big thank you
Marigolds
Plant them low-they won’t grow. Plant them high-they will grow to the sky!
Don’t nelly Steven’s holly get enormous? Won’t they eat the windows of that home? Looks beautiful otherwise!
He will have to prune regularly.
Great job and wonderful tips on sprucing up a builder’s grade garden! Thanks, as always!
