Without the development of attributes it will be difficult to employ strategies. Kali is a sophisticated attribute martial art that develops attributes. In a fight it is direct simple and efficient! Try some knife fighting stick fighting it will improve your hand eye coordination, distance timing and rhythm,body mechanics, power and not least will pressure test beyond the realms of unarmed combat! Bruce was Bruce, be yourself not confined by the ' classical mess' which also includes JKD!
dan does the same thing most fma instructors do..prefaces the video with "you can do the same techniques with a bladed weapon" and then shows techniques that are 90% STICK TECHNIQUES ONLY !! if you don't believe me...try to visualize where the sharp edge of the blade would be and see for yourself how many times you would be cut doing the majority of these techniques !!!
