- The GMC Acadia is all-new for 2024, getting a complete redesign inside and out. It’s now bigger, measuring nearly 11 inches longer and 3 inches taller. Stand-out features include a new rugged AT4 trim with a lifted suspension, a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system, and also a refined Denali trim. Acadia is a midsize SUV that seats 5, 6, or 7 passengers depending on configuration, and is only available as a 4-door wagon.
Competitors include the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, Buick Enclave, Lexus RX, and Ford Explorer.
Four trims are available: Elevation, Premium, AT4, and Denali. One engine is available: A turbo 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. All pair to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 5,000 pounds. Pricing ranges from $39,000 to $52,000.

They hit it out of the park with this one! Great suv for the money too. GM has been doing great with the new traverse, Acadia, and Enclave.
I drove the new traverse and wow it’s fast. I drove the Toyota Highlander after and it seemed like you had to constantly press the gas over half throttle to go places.
Do you know if elevation teim has blue ambiènt lighting n 0n doors.and dash? Or do you have to step up to the at4 t eim?

I think it’s a awesome vehicle for a base trim you get a lot for your money and I have to say that gm quality is starting to get better
What other vehicle offers a Bose 12 speaker system, leather, full surround camera views, rear parking sensors, 15 inch display, digital Speedo, and for $900 extra you can get heads up display, acoustic windshield and heated rear seats for $45k?
the engine whisperer
The shifter supposed to be months floor between the seats, not on the steering column. That i don't like.
I've been in love with this auto since it first hit the scene. But GM builds problems vs Toyota. Maybe one day i'll take chance with one.
Tried to buy a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander but couldn’t because Toyota put a stop sale on them for an airbag safety recall.
We purchased an Acadia new in 2012. It now has 150,000 miles on it and still going strong. We've never had a problem with it. We will purchase again.
This is a Wonderfully Styled Vehicle. It needs the following improvements. 18 inch wheels to improve ride comfort on the Elevation Trim. Second Row 40/20/40 Bench Seating with removable center seat. Delete Paddle Shifters. Most important replace the 2.5 Turbo with the 2.7 Turbo found in the GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado pickup trucks. Second row window shades for the kids and seniors. Move the reverse lights from the rear bumper upward to the cross bar on the tailgate. The rear tailgate proximity opener could be troublesome.
