      Haha! Yeah, I script all my videos with at least bullet points and I got to the end of the outline and was like, "Oh, no...." 😆 Thanks for keeping it real with me.

    "I like my planners like my men" LOL! I think I may need to have one of those punches, your planner is a work of art, it's a joy to behold! I think having a beautiful planner makes planning so much more pleasant. I really love your content, so relatable, thank you.

    Wow, so amazing! I recently discovered your channel and have been binge watching your videos and have learned a ton! They're short and to the point! I've always been conflicted between having a digital planner or a printed one...I've done both, but I LOVE your planner bc it's both types of planners! I just ordered a planner from Amazon, so now I'm so conflicted, ugh! By the way, I gotta get that hole puncher...it's amazing, heehee!

      Oooooh now you can have TWO cute planners. 😉 That hole punch is amazing - my coworkers and I pass it around like we’re the sisterhood of the traveling punch. Thanks for watching and commenting by the way. It’s very much appreciated! 🥰

    Thanks for sharing! What sections do you have in your planner?

    • @TheTimeCrunchedTeacher
      @TheTimeCrunchedTeacher  10 місяців тому

      Oh great question! I have a Calendars section (for monthly calendars and district pacing guides), Lesson Plans (for my weekly plans), next is Student Info (which has my class list, student logins, and IEPs), then Data/Reports (for any printouts of test scores), and then finally State Testing (which has directions on how to administer the state tests and any associated info). I don't have a paper grade book because I do everything online. Hope that helps! And that you for taking the time to watch and comment. 💗

    Hello, I really enjoy your videos, especially this one! I went ahead and bought the planner from the creator. She does a wonderful job explaining how it all works, but I noticed you printed your lesson plans landscaped, what did you do to avoid the blank bar at the bottom and top of the page?

    • @TheTimeCrunchedTeacher
      @TheTimeCrunchedTeacher  11 місяців тому

      Oh great question! It was awhile ago, but I'm pretty sure I did one of two things. I thought the creator had a Google Slides version for "printing" that was scaled to 11"x 8.5" and I just modified that. It's also possible that I went in to edit the theme that she had created and adjusted or removed the headers completely. The way you do that is to go to the Google file you want to edit and select from the top menu View > Theme Builder. You can then modify the background elements that she created and it will apply it to the entire template in that file. I'm sure I did some tweaking and just moved elements around or deleted them in order to make the template fit better. If you go to File > Page Setup you can confirm that the template is set to 11"x 8.5" which is standard letter size paper (assuming you're in the US - many other countries use A4 size). Hope that helps! Feel free to reach out if you get stuck. And thanks for watching and commenting! Your compliments were very kind and generous. 😊💗

      Oh do you mean the lesson plan template? It's not my resource so you'll need to look at the documentation from the creator. If you downloaded the one I put in the description link, it actually has hundreds of options, so it would be a little difficult to answer your question in a comment. But let me know if you have any issue finding her directions or contact info. Thanks for watching! 💗

    The dividers you got from Staples are black? The linked ones are color but the video looks black. 🤔 I like the black ones a lot. Did you have any issues hole punching through the 3mm or 5 mm lamination? Did you make sure the paper was to the side so the punch part didn't have to go through that too or ...? I'm so scared to punch through lamination. 🫣
    Also regular paper is actually 20lb.

    • @TheTimeCrunchedTeacher
      @TheTimeCrunchedTeacher  Рік тому +1

      Ha! You and I are one in the same when it comes to planner preferences. Yeah, the black dividers are way better. I totally bought them in-store at Staples, but when I made the video, the only ones they had available online were colors (booo!). So maybe check out your local store and see what they have on hand? The Arc punch had no problem going through the lamination and paper inside it as long as I didn't try to do more than one set at a time. And thanks for the tip about the 20lb paper - it's even more skinny than I thought! 😉

      @@TheTimeCrunchedTeacher that's exciting that it goes through the lamination. I have the circa punch instead of the arc, but I'm terrified of ruining it lol.
