San Marcos' Little Mt Whitney

Up via Coronado Hills Dr - Washingtonia, down via Attebury Rd & Bella Vita Way. This video is a compilation from 2 different days. Ascending in June 2021, descending in April 2019. So, the descending route condition has changed quite a lot. The upper part of Washingtonia past the gate to the tower access road gate has been repaved. Attebury Rd from Bella Vita junction to Washingtonia was also repaved and most of the water bars/speed bumps shallowed out (not as hazardous as before).
Bella Vita Way is no longer accessible. The top gate is now connected with tall fence on both side. The lower gate fence at S Village Dr is extended to cover the dirt shoulder.
