Our new Polar machine is a 50w CO2 laser. CO2 lasers can engrave on metals, but with CO2 lasers you must first treat the metal with a laser bond spray. The machine must also run at low speed & high power to properly engrave metal. If you want to cut metal, one of our "Fiber Laser Cutting Machines" might be better as they do not require the metal to be pre treated and can easily cut / engrave on aluminum, brass, copper, nickel, and stainless steel. There is a whole blog available on our website under - Knowledge Base - Metal - I hope this helps!
Good too see companies that publish honest videos 👍
Thank you we appreciate the feedback.🤗
Do you know if I can use this machine for the PCB Prototype?
Does it work on engraving and cutting metal? What kind of metal?

Maybe the user should have safety glasses as that cover looks quite clear. You only have 1 pair of eyes and 2 chances to go blind… 🤷🏼♂️
c02 lasers don't give off the intense light like diode lasers do my friend :)
